Lunchboxes? Now I have seen the ultimate in horde/money wasting.

We need a thread for "ultra-cheap" steelbook movies.

I wanna find some deals so good on steelbooks they match what the movie would cost without a steelbook on the cheap.

Where is that?

JAWS! It's rumored to come out August 14th, which is the perfect time to release it, but Amazon UK has it slated for Sept. 3rd.

The steelbook looks awesome, just ordered it from Amazon UK

Right now your best option is to import it from Amazon UK. It should be region free as most Universal titles are. It'll cost about $28.50US shipped however. The US really doesn't get too many Steelbooks. I think the last one we got here was Scarface, which was also a Universal title, so it's possible, just unlikely.

Thanks, sweet region free. I got Fantasia bluray 2 pack from amazon.uk and it worked fine so I won't mind if its region free.

Honestly though if I had to I would import this just for the steelbook and rebuy a U.S. version That is such a simple sweet looking steelbook.

hmm...listed as 17.99 uk but when I checked out it dropped to 14.99 uk so total with shipping was 18 uk.

Yeah it removes some money because we don't have to pay VAT (value-added Tax) here :D
 
Which ones? The Jaws one is sold at Amazon UK which ships to the US. You can even login with your amazon.com account. HMV.com also ships to the US, but Play.com unfortunately doesn't (and they have some cool exclusives too :()

Knowing play that blu part probly wont be printed on but most likely a cover/sticker. Otherwise that release looks exactly like the Amazon France release:

Me wants the Blow steelbook. I'm not one for collecting movie steels but that is indeed a great movie, and a good looking steelbook to boot.

The one with the sliver is the FRENCH release and has been out for awhile now and is currently OOS on amazon.fr.

It is G1. The play.com version looks to be G2 from the pics.

Was referring to the play.com one. In the images it shows the case without the blue border on top. And was inquiring about the region coding to that one not the amazon.fr one
