They're not camping out for the Batman vs. Super-Man of Steel(book), I mean come on, it's obviously going to be vastly overprinted relative to demand. They're actually camping out for the Best Buy exclusive Marvel Cinematic Universe/Disney steelbooks Captain America 3: Civil War and Thor 3: Ragnarok. A few are also setting up for Guardians of the Galaxy 2 SB and Avengers 3: Infinity War part numero uno SB.

Here are the wraparound steelbooks for Cap3 and Thor3

For the members here that always feel the need to stick up for starmask, this is a perfect example of why he, rightfully, gets the sh-t he does. It's just constant nonsense. When was the last time he asked a coherent question or contributed in a meaningful manner?

He just doesn't stop and the coddling doesn't help whatsoever so the rest of us decide to have a little fun with it. But I guess we're the problem

so does it look like the reg and steelbook ver of JL vs TT will have the same upc numbers in store

I would say that's a good guess since the last few DC animated releases shared the same DPCI (for steelbook vs. regular) at Target.

I still think this one will be a bitch to get as the last two were really hard to find any stock of, with most stores getting under 4 on release day or getting their copies for sale later in the week.

I know that if Target doesn't have it first thing Tuesday morning, I won't be able to hit one again until the next morning and only in this mornings this week.

Maybe this will go down like Bad Blood did where some stores don't get it until later in the week, like my store seemed to do on Thursday versus Tuesday.

Make sure to check the front as well as back in Electronics, as some new releases end up there as well.

Well as much as I hate it to ask this this early, but if anyone is going adventuring out for the Justice League vs Titans steelbook and don't mind, I'll pay cost plus ship for one.

The way things are looking right now I won't be able to go on the hunt all for this one.  The only mode of transportation is going to be in the shop until at least Wensday.  Figure I built up some good will since I did it last time with Bad Blood for a few fellow CAGs, hopefully someone can return me the favor.

So if anyone could keep me in mind for a extra one I would appreciate it. ;)

if you dont get one let me know i'll pick up extra's if you need one

Going to wait for a huge discount for this one when Best Buy need to clear their remaining stock.
Not to mention there are a bunch of different Blu Ray versions currently listed on the BB website. There is the steelbook version, standard version, 3D version, and a Graphic Novel version. It's also interesting to note none of the special editions even includes the 3D version - you have to buy that separately. But hey - at least we get a 3D version, right? :whistle2:

This makes me think that double-dipping into 3D is only worth doing later and at a discount, not out of the gate. SB for me only, and I'm betting it'll be $24.99 at time of release, not $19.99, even without 3D.

I'll wait for the inevitable $9.99 on BvS. And then still not buy it.

Edit: And are there two different steelbooks for Doom? Not the movie. The upcoming reboot.

Not as far as we know of. One is in the CE and one is the in Gold bundle that BBY is offering, which we're assuming to be one in the same.

A lot of releases with piss-poor operational support, from the duplicated DPCI # issue to the reps not knowing if they're getting steelbooks or not.
It still just looks like a handshake deal where Target tells DC to throw in a few steelbooks into the mix if they can. I can't think of another product release done so casually.

Was just reading the BR.com review. Seems decent if a bit rote. I was just bummed it was PG-13 since it was teen titans and my kids would love to watch it.
So watch it first and see if it's something your kids could handle. Great attitude though! It drives me nuts when my kids come home from school and their grade-school friends are talking about PG-13 and R movies, or TV series like The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones.

There have been a few shows I've previewed then let them watch, like Star Wars VII. I'll also occasionally sit down and 'edit' the movie for them, like with Guardians of the Galaxy.

Steelbook quality aside, does anyone know if the JL vs. Teen Titans movie itself is any good?
Downloaded it..... I'll say it definitely adult (not for your kiddies), unless your kids have been watching the other animated DC films. The flim is good overall, it has great moments (Damian being Damian, Nightwing, and Batman). If you seen teen titans you already know this story by heart and will be disappointed it didn't push it a little more towards the "white" side. There's definitely drawbacks too the word "teen" titans is one (you will see what I mean) . But don't want to spoil it... It's not a must buy but it's definitely worth watching it just for Damian being Damian... That kid

I wish they had made those available from day one and not created a double-dip situation.  :bomb:

My favorite store never received stock of the JLvTT Steelbook. By the time I recreated other stores, I was probably sold out. Looking for a copy if anyone picked up extras.

Edgewood Atlanta store only had 2 that I saw. Mine had a slight dent and I can't decide if it's worth taking back for replacement.

My store and near by stores didn't even receive them. Maybe it'll come in late like bad blood,,,,,, If anyone feel generous to pick me up one for price + ship. I'll appreciate it, or work out a trade.  I have a extra steelbook of son of batman. Thanks in advance..
