Best Buy shipped my copy of Laika 4 film steelbook. Glad I got in on the lower price.

Edit: Just check my order and they removed Steelbook from the title. Did this version get bumped to a regular case?

My Target order for the Finding Dory steelbook was delivered today, except it wasn't a steelbook and it was the 3D version.
Mine is set to be delivered tomorrow, I better get the steelbook.

I noticed that in my order as well. It seems steelbook was removed from the title.

Looks like this is a non-issue for me if it's not a SB, since it appears that I didn't order it after all. :dunce:
There appears to be two versions, at least one of them being the steelbook. The proof is on the Universal product page. Go down to to the blu ray version dropbox and click.

I have an order in for three of them at Best Buy. I will hook you up with one if they come through with steelbook versions. It's too bad that Best Buy changed the listing so we won't know until they are delivered.

Out of that list of vendors:

Amazon - removed the SB wording, pic is unclear to what it is

Best Buy - see above

Kmart - errors out

Target - errors out

Walmart - shows an obvious Amaray version of the 4-movie set

FYE - errors out

B&N - no image, higher price than $44.99 ($48.41)

I'm curious to see if they end up being SBs or not and if they are, I'll certainly take you up on that offer, Nothing.

Nice find on the Universal product page.  Curious how all the retailers removed "steelbook" from the description though.  I guess we will find out in a few days.  If it is indeed a steelbook, I am very pleased I got in on the $24.99 price.

Also, the Target I went to yesterday had a ton of Finding Dory steelbooks.  I think the price may be turning people off.

Got the SB from my order.  I stopped by a Target about an hour ago and they still had some in the display so it might not be too hard trying to find one to exchange.

Yea, I went to Target yesterday and swung back. There's like 30 copies of the Finding Dory steelbooks and and 1 copy left of the normal Blu-ray.

Good news about Target and shipping mistakes is tgey probably tell you to keep the 3D version and refund you the orders cost. I have had that happen twice to me with other things and both times I contacted them via chat and that's what they did.

I was also refunded for my Killing Joke SB when it arrived damaged and told to keep the damaged one for free.

I received the 3D Finding Dory. Time to contact CS. I might just get the regular version for $10 on Black Friday. Steelbook isn't worth the extra $18

lol.... This is crazy... I hope I didn't get the same drunken guy packing my order.
I wasn't drunk....I think. That sucks, my local target had a crap load of steels. I would usually go with the steel even at the $5 more price point, but not at the $18 more price point on BF. So I passed on this.

fuck, they sent me the 3D version of Finding Dory instead of the steelbook.  Now I have two copies of the 3D version.  I assume it will be an easy exchange since a lot of Targets still have the steelbook.  They better not try to charge me $27.99 for it though.

same happen to me. Target service did a no receipt return on the movie and gave $30 in target credit which then used towards the steelbook. its was an even exchange. a lot better then return with invoice and trying to repurchase it.

I brought a copy of the order page and the shipment email with me and that was helpful with the CS rep to get it sorted out.

The CS rep at the store returned the non-SB back to a GC and used that GC to buy the steelbook. She dropped the price down to $20 on the SB to make sure it was close due to the tax difference and I made $0.98 for my troubles since it was less than the $22.50.

I'd suggest making sure to explain to them that Target.com CS is useless (the CS rep at the store already knew that) and that Target.com shipped you the wrong version (they have different DPCI #s) and you need to do it as an even exchange. Have them get the MOD if they need to get further approval on it.

The only issue they had with the return is they weren't able to do the return from the paperwork in the shipment since the 3D version they shipped out doesn't match the DPCI # / online order # of the item on the order, so they had to look it up by RedCard #. Which makes me think they returned the 3D one from my other order, which doesn't matter since I was double-dipping anyway.

I just finished chatting with Target. They're going to process a refund. When I asked if I should ship the item back, the guy ignored my question. So I guess I have a free 3D copy? Very weird.

He's also sending me a $5 gift card that was cancelled from my original order, though I think they may have just knocked down the price by $5 when they sent the item to begin with (invoice shows a $5 discount plus a 5% Redcard discount).

The whole chat felt very disjointed with the guy disappearing for 5 minutes at a time to "look into this issue".

Got the Dory steelbook (surprisingly?) and was very lucky to have no damage considering the shape the cardboard sleeve was in. Ordered 3D disc from ebay which puts me right around the 3D deluxe price. Haven't seen the movie but expect great things.

So is that $37 4k BluRay the only US Suicide Squad steelbook?  If so, F U Best Buy - straight up taking advantage of people who want steelbooks.

I hope Best Buy sent me the Laika Steelbook. I cant find it on the site anymore. Under my order it links to a regular bluray with 4 films.

There's a Target Cartwheel coupon for 50% off Walking Dead Seasons 1-6 at Target.  YMMV on combining a pricematch with the cartwheel discount, however I believe they have/had a bunch of steelbook versions of some/all of these seasons.

What's weird is the email they sent me when it shipped lists it as the steelbook edition but when I click on the actual product link in the email it goes to a version where the steelbook is no longer listed.

Mine is the same way no mention of Steelbook in anything other than the shipping notice.

Same here. If it's not a SB, it goes back and I look for Kubo 3D on the cheaper.

Hey guys are there any advertised $5 steelbooks this year for BF? I haven't seen any listed yet and I was curious if I missed them. (Last year I bought Scott Pilgrim and Shawn of the dead for $5 each, and a 7.99 Edward Scissorhands CE with the cookcie cutter)

The only Steelbook I saw advertised was one of the Hunger Games movies in the Best Buy ad. You'll just have to wait and see if the online prices go down the day of for others.
