Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Gen. Discussion & Info

I got hit with tons of snow, so I'll probably just skip my EB preorder and pick it up at the local Walmart in the next hour or so since I don't feel like driving 30 miles or so round trip in snow covered roads just to get it at EB lol.

I'm enjoying this game so far. I'll be honest, I used a cheap method to get the first few characters. I did this until I got Captain Falcon. Took me about 20 minutes and I got quite a few characters.

But now I'm playing it the real way.

I got at Wal-Mart a 7 am (Wal-Mart is 7 am - 7 pm) and there were about 20 people ahead of me. Only two people bought it.

This game is made of happy.

I do feel a bit slow, though, as I'm stuck in part of the Subspace Emissary. The black room... if you've played it, you know what I mean. I'm sure it's something extremely simple, but I'm just not getting it. Help. :lol:



In terms of picking up a copy, I was pretty happy. The weather around here was pretty bad, so there were only about 12 people waiting at Wal-Mart, and at least 4 of them were just waiting with other people, not buying it themselves. They had a box of them under the counter, pulled it out at midnight, quick and easy.

Thanks for the link, I'll do that sometime.

Just started the SSE story. Didn't like the Wii controls or the Thrustmaster controller, so I went to a wired GCN controller. Liking the game, of course.

To be sure, there's only one platform to place stickers on, right? You don't choose a trophy to put them on as well?
 
Just got back with the game... see you guys next year. BTW does anyone know if its possible to change controller styles when you're already in a game?

Or how about when 4 people don't join so you are stuck with 1 or more computers? That happened to me last night. The game itself played real smoothly though.

1. Play 200 VS matches, then beat him in a match.
2. Beat Classic Mode on Hard difficulty with Link or Zelda, then
beat him in a match.
3. Have Ganondorf join your party in the Subspace
Emissary (Stage 30, keep Link and Zelda alive).

This game is so badass.I LOVE snake. I can escape pretty much anything with the cyber.
 
Is the online mode really laggy for anyone else? When I played online, it stuttered and lagged like crazy... but at least I won and it was only 1 fight.

So... since I've seen conflicting reports on this, has anyone unlocked Jigglypuff, and how did you do it?

The listing over at GameFAQs is wrong, and I've yet to see any confirmation from anyone who actually has him yet.
 
Just use a GC control everyone.
So far, everybody sucks online. When I get my personal Wii back, I'll post a friend code.

My GC controllers are back home... which sucks. I'll have to use the classic controller.

I still can't figure out why it's so damn laggy online- my Wii is right next to my wi-fi router.
