Yeah, I'm excited to see some of the taunts. And I'm fucking relieved that they included Link's awesome sword-putting-away thing from TP. First thing I thought after I saw that for the first time (well, second, after "woo") was "I hope they have that as his taunt in Brawl."

Hmm, so that's what the box is for. I thought it would be Snake's Down-B special or an item. It could've been some sort of shield, but considering all the swords and lasers and fire, cardboard wouldn't be too practical...

seriously that just brought back bad memories. How hard could it be to just institute ranked and unranked matches? I love my DS and quite frankly there's only one thing I could think of to change about it but the Wii is a whole other situation. I would like to see this online thing get done right. As bad as I hear the Sony online is compared to MSoft everything I hear is better than what we got on the N-side.
 
Yeah, the random matches not being ranked (or at least going on your won-loss record) is a huge negative for sure.

But it's to be expected. I doubt we'll ever get online play anywhere near X-box Live quality (or even the PS Network) on a Nintendo system--and definitely not this gen.

Oh well, I'll just stick to single player games on the Wii for the most part, and get my online fix on the 360.

I haven't really been all that impressed* within the past..7 or 8 updates. Hmm.
Maybe this is a good sign of a nice big update eventually.

*What I mean is that, nothing they have given has been all that "!!!!!!". Not complaining, FYI :razz:
 
I figured that for a delay like this, it would either be something really cool or really lame. Sad to see that it's the latter.

Handicaps.

my lord why did they even make this an update Ooooo handicap matches *rolls eyes*. I mean I"m glad its there but do you even need to make this an update its been in virtually every fighting game for years now!
 
I'm starting to think that screenshot of ZSS from yesterday is going to end up being the most interesting thing this week =^e.e^=
 
boo I don't think we needed handicaps to be by themselves. Maybe with Yoshi's Special Moves that would be ok.

I'm still hoping they have the old handicaps.
 
Meh, its an option, but there are ~40 updates left. So its probably safe to say there will be a couple of good updates between now and then. Sonic will probably get a revist for an assist trophy, stage, or music.

Plus its safe to assume you wont see any updates for the games "hidden" characters. Sorry Luigi, no upate love for you.
 
I really need to learn to stop trying to input Pokemon with the correct accents. I've lost the same post three times in a row due to that.

really like the dimensional cape move, music is decent, not sure if it'll fit with the halberd stage, once again i lol'ed at the comment

"This is a jazz arrangement of the music from back then.

personally i'm satisfied. extremely satisfied. THIS is what I want out of daily updates. Sure it's nothing amazing like a new character or a awesome final smash or a new feature but updates at this level could keep my interest without burning me out unlike daily assist trophies and/or items.

bah. get some testicular fortitude and just use the scale. Stop trying to please everyone with your fractional portions. Personally I'd rather two levels of good and one level of bad than the other way around but today is good so..

We need a Kirby between good and bad. Something like a "meh" or an "eh" Kirby. Maybe a picture of Kirby playing Chameleon Twist on N64. Sure he's kind of enjoying himself but he could be playing Goldeneye or Mario 64.
