Good games to JoeB, UltimoRey, Arikado, and I think Amigo? There was some pretty bad lag, but it was still fun. Amigo, I tried to add you but I don't think it went through.

Anyway, Arikado, you're a beast! Thanks for the compliments, but I'm not really a pikachu player. =P I'm still playing around and looking for a main, and pikachu's a powerhouse on his own. Even though my Pit's not that great, your Snake is amazing. Definitely looking forward to playing you more!

Still looking for a main? I would've guessed it was either your Zero Suit or your Pikachu. It isn't a Snake match for me unless I somehow blow myself up. I knew I was going to eat that mine whenever I airdodged, missed the ledge, and landed on solid ground. :lol:

zitanix, good game btw, but I'm pretty sure I had you added. I saw you on my buddy list after I left the room.

Arikado, I'm pretty sure you did.. Only time I remember you lost was when you were messing around with Wolf and you didn't get third jump quite right and missed the ledge.

I'm bored, who wants to play?

this may be a stupid question but I've not really looked into it but how do you just "choose" zero suit samus? Is it the same location like the sheik/zelda choice?

Sorry I had to drop out of that last match. There's really no point in playing in that lag. :(

Good games joe. You're the first one I've ever had to use Dedede's chain grab... I guess you don't realize how annoying it is until it's done to you.

Though I will say this, his play style did inspire me to start using Wolf and all has been good since.

EDIT2: Okay, Rig, I think you made a mistake. When there's a Bowser, a DK, and a King Dedede, you're supposed to pick Charizard, not Kirby.
 
This is INSANE.

There seems to be at least some lag on my end and my connection to everyone seems to have dropped to red. I'm just going to call it a night and hope it's better tomorrow.

The lag is severely unacceptable. I can't imagine anyone at Nintendo actually telling us to swallow that turd and believing it was ice cream.

Hell, I hate the split-second lag that causing so many deaths with big heavy characters enough.

I wonder if certain levels lag more than others. Kind of like how Nintendo said Mario Kart DS could only have certain courses, and supposedly even when hackers cut into the unavailable-for-online courses, the lag was more noticeable.

Oh well. Good games all. Gave me a huge fucking headache. I'm going to try and do something on XBL and hope that doesn't make it hurt worse.
 
Really, as long as its 1v1, and neither person is torrenting or dling, I don't really notice much lag. Theres a bit of delay during the first 30 seconds or so, but it usually clears up pretty quickly. After thats there just the slightest button lag that you quickly get used to.

The problems start when you start introducing more than 1 person.

Unless everyone in the room is from the same general location (ex. me and my friends from Oregon, I'm in Washington, can play with 4 just fine with hardly any lag) it lags to hell.

Item #1: I still have a strong dislike for ROB, especially in three-brawl.

Item #2: My favorite thing in the world was when we all taunted after 'Kado suicided against me with his Ganondorf.

Item #3: GGs to Kado and evergoo (and Suko, earlier!)

Hahaha yeah, we all taunted at the EXACT same time. That was awesome.

Good games as always (to evergoo, suko, Mr. Beef, and Mad D as well). ROB is a pain, especially when there are more than two people. He can just stand back and rack up damage.

Oh, and Kirby sounds awesome whenever he fires the ROB laser.

Lol. I began experimenting with him yesterday. You should have seen my R.O.B. a few matches earlier. I was a bouncin' pinball. At least I'm getting a bit better avoiding juggles.

Besides, I was getting tired of Ike getting pwned by projectiles.

Hehe. Sorry if it seems cheap but that's the best strategy for R.O.B. to use in FFAs.

Just about done wrapping up the challenges, only about 10 more to go. I'm leaving the boss challenges till the end. Those are gonna be a pain.

I just beat very hard (bosses) last night. I don't know how I will be able to survive "insane" mode short of a miracle.
 
i'm surprised that taboo's full screen move didn't wipe me out in one shot, farthest i've gotten on intense is 8, btw anyone up for some matches right now?
 
OK so I'm going through classic mode and randomly after beating it I got the message:

"You encountered Jirachi for the first time. Make a wish."

It had a Pokeball by it so I'm assuming it has something to do with Pokemon obviously. But did I unlock something?

Nope. The message, in and of itself, is your "reward." I've yet to encounter any of the rare Pokemon.

That's one of his best strategies in 1v1 as well. He's probably got the best turtle game out of any of the characters.

Spamming projectiles is part of the game, and is tough to get around when someone really knows how to do it (example being JoeB's Dedede). Throw in lag/delay and it's even tougher.
 
So, to unlock all the SSE movies, must you play through it twice?

For example, you play through it the first time, and save Zelda from Petey. Peach gets zapped (and you get the movie showing that).

You then have to go on a new file and save Peach, which gets Zelda zapped, correct?

The level can't just be replayed, since you don't see movies the second time...right?

If that's the case, I think I'm going to be going back through that again this weekend.

GGs to zitanix. I don't know what it was about MetaKnight, but he just went to town on me. R.O.B. was vicious too, but I think part of that loss was my own inability to do the reverse Hadouken ledge-grab online. Fast-fall death for the win.

Yeah i think you do was just looking over the video list and A LOT of videos depend on who you saved.
 
Big Smash tournament at the University of Houston this weekend, at the Trashday(Texas Showdown) event.

Also Tekken, SC3, VF, GG and something else I think will be there (Marvel?)
