This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items, or raincheck "scams." Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. Some info from BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include city, state, store, game, system and price. For example:
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs
Super Soup Soufflé, Xbox 360, $4.98

Special thanks to Mephitical for this great tool for locating clearance titles which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

Here is a fairly easy way to check if your local Target has the games on clearance-- often games will not be tagged correctly. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Remember, the lowest known price will be posted since the listed item could be higher or lower at your store. Here are the current deals:

Went tonight as saw pretty much what the posts above say..I went after the SOny Brand PS3 Component cables..not mismarked but for $9.98 I got one. I went to BB later and seen it for $ 20.99
 
I also saw Dragon Quest VIII for $14.

DQVIII is a FANTASTIC RPG with at least 80 hours of gameplay. Best game I have ever played. If you haven't picked it up, DO IT NOW!
 
I picked up a Monster AV 800 powercenter plus surge protector.

Dont know if its any good, but the price I got it was $24.98 (even though it rang up $34.98, the lady swtiched it after I told her about the sticker price)

Seemed like a good deal to me to protect my electronic stuff.
 
I just got a PSP car adapter, It has a docking Bay and suction cup (pretty well made) and an FM reciever. I plugged this in this morning and was playing Xmen Vs Streetfighter PSP on my car Speakers. Pretty cool for $7.50. :bouncy:

Picked up need for speed carbon for ps3 for $20 last night was only one in a pile of bunch ps2 games. When they rung it up, it was rung up wrong, they gave me the discount since had $20 sticker on it.

P.S. look up the Target DCPI # on Amazon or google...call your local Target and ask for the nearest store with it in stock.
Target's are pretty universal in their reduced pricing...

It's not at mine, and people are going to be going to Target, and if they see any copies, would be nice if they'd pick one up.

There's no reason to open a request for it. This sort of thing happens in these sorts of posts all the time. Especially the Target clearance ones.

I don't know how you managed to miss....oh, every "XXX is on sale at XXX B&M" thread ever, but I think you just might have.

I realize it's not at yours, but if you have more than one, every Target will look up and point you to the nearest location. I even call the store they show it in stock and they hold it for me with enough time to drive over. (faster and less expensive for shipping)

Yes, and no .... but many times a "request" is on the tale end of a post about items found.

Oh my, I do know how it may vary with Sears, Kmart and the infamous recent BB tables/bins. But within a week, CC and Targets seems to be in tune nationwide....the "key" at slowere stores seems to be asking for a scan of an item not yet marked the new reduction price. (a lil extra work, but well worth it)

The closest Target beyond my local one is another 40-50 miles away, so that wouldn't really help me out. At that point it would be better to just download it off Steam or purchase it elsewhere.

Which is why I'm hoping someone is willing to sell me a copy for cost + shipping + a little extra, since then I get a physical copy.

Damn, there's several Targets only like 10 mins. apart from each other near me. However I have not looked for that DVD. I have seen other cleranced DVD's but not that one.
 
When I lived in South Texas, there were like 5 Targets within a 5 mile radius, and 3 of them were Super Targets, two of them located on the same street.

Which was messed up.
 
First round of console games dropped to 50% off today. Tomb Raider Legend (360) is $14.98, Burnout Dominator (PS2) is $19.98 (same as Amazon), and I assume the other games like NBA Home Court and NFS Carbon are also 50%.

Faceplates are 4.98, Mad Catz 360 Arcade Stick is $19.98, and I think the 360 Guitar bag is 4.98 (didn't check).

I'll be watching for the second, larger round to go 50% next week, with games like Radiata Stories and Jak X Combat Racing.

yeah I just picked up the guitar bag and arcade stick also I saw the ps3 wired controllers (the ones with the fans in them) for 20 and the ps3 cords for 5 bucks, also the wii set with 2 controller skins and a memory card were on sale for 25 bucks.

Damn $20 for the arcade stick now.... wondering if they gonna drop even further anytime soon. $20 was what I originally told myself I would wait till to buy it, but its dropping pretty fast and maybe I should wait out a little longer.

I picked up Call of Juarez ($29.98), The Movies ($9.98) and Sony Playstation 3 S-Video cables ($4.98). This was at the Cherry Hill, MD Target.
 
Picked up the PS3 component cables for $4.98 today.

Saw Titan Quest & Titan Quest: The Immortal Throne for $9.98 each.

Can echo the Fear Gold Edition for $12.48, as well as FEAR on its own for $12.48.

i forgot that i went to target this past weekend. i got the psyclone car kit with the fm transmitter for $3.24!! i also saw nba something for the Ps3 for $41.xx. they had the sling bags for the wii onsale also for $21.xx
 
They also had a PS2 remote for $4. I almost got it, but realized I don't use my PS2 as a dvd player. So it would be worthless to me. They also had 2 pack memory cards on clearance (I forgot what the price was, though).
 
One other thing to note...many Targets are clearancing out some of their HDMI cables.....for example, I bought a couple of 15 foot ones yesterday for a shade over $11 each (were originally $50).

Also, clearance games seem to be a little hit and miss..there are some universal ones but there also seem to be some one-offs at each store (for example, I found the outfit for $10 at one store, and MGS Portable Ops for $20 at another).

I didn't see much at my target today. I did get some cheap $5 headphones to throw in my laptop bag. I also got some ps2 s-video cables for $5. Too bad I missed out on the ps3/ps2 cables they had for $10 a few weeks ago.
 
Scored 2 360 charge / cable kits for 5$ a piece, an 360 optical cable for 3$ and some Wii cables for 4$, all 75% off (Sunset Beach, CA).

I just came back from the Target: City of Industry Location...

Picked up the MadCatz Arcade Controller...3 left & the last copy of Tomb Raider Legend for 360.

Saw Logitech EA Wireless PS2 controllers for $19.98. There are about a dozen.

GT Pro Series (Wii)- $24.98

Teen Titans (GC)- $7.48
 
I didn't see much at target today, but then again I never do, surprised to see any games at all on sale. The only things I found were GBA Danny Phantom game and tons of copies of Eragon for the PS2, neither worth purchasing so I didn't even bother looking at prices. Also they had Wii's in stock, only the second time since launch that I have seen them on a store shelf in this area.

Oh and they had some really cheap PS3 component cables, like 3-4$

Are you positive? I think they're S-Video. My stores' component cables are regular price.
And guys, I know I haven't updated the Op. Sorry. My work just started to use Websense so everything is blocked. I'll try to do a massive update with everythingthat's been posted in the last few weeks

I can confirm the Sony brand PS3 component cables are 4.98 (75% off). They also have S Video and Composite cables for the same price as well.
 
Didn't see this mentioned yet, but I heard a rumor about a Play N Charge kit for $5 by Nyko. Going to see if I can confirm at my local Target tomorrow. :D

Confirmed. Also got the Plantronics 360 headset for 7.50. Hadn't seen this mentioned, but I've been limited on time and just skimmed some stuff, anyway:

:360: Call of Duty 2 PH for 13.98

Hadn't seen it dropped with the other 13.98 games at stores before today. Perhaps it wasn't marked properly. . .

My local Target had one of these for, yes, $4.98. Needless to say I grabbed it. No complaints so far.
