This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items, or raincheck "scams." Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. Some info from BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include city, state, store, game, system and price. For example:
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs
Super Soup Soufflé, Xbox 360, $4.98

Special thanks to Mephitical for this great tool for locating clearance titles which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

Here is a fairly easy way to check if your local Target has the games on clearance-- often games will not be tagged correctly. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Remember, the lowest known price will be posted since the listed item could be higher or lower at your store. Here are the current deals:

Nobody in this cursed state has anything better to do with their time -- it would appear all the resellers got to the clearance stuff before I could get my hands on it. On the upside, I can confirm the $3.74 PSP mount/FM transmistter, and the $5 Play And Charge Kit, courtesy of an employee. I just didn't get either :p

The big deal of the week is the Magnavox 42" Plasma for 831$, even cheaper if you sign up for the target card (extra 10% off)

I saw wii ssx Blur for 24$ on clearance today.
 
Picked up Karaoke Revolution: American Idol Edition w/ Mic (PS2) for $14.99 last night at the Target in Tallahassee, FL on the Parkway. There were two more copies sitting on one of the clearance shelves near the electronics dept.

Mic is a USB Logitech Mic.

I saw one of the PSP Mount/FM Transmitter kits at my Target on clearance for $3.74. My store had a clearance games endcap and another one that was sort of a "Greatest Hits" endcap. I snagged Xenosaga II for $9.99 (PS2).

However, the Logitech Controllers for the PC (No Analog sticks though) were on clearance for $4.98. Not bad if you play emulated games or Gametap.
 
I had some extra time before work yesterday so I decided to look around in Target. I found a near mint (1 bent corner, and one fingernail scratch) copy of the Ehrgeiz strategy guide (bradygames) for $4.98

I know its not exactly rare (goes for $9.99 on ebay), but i guess the nostalgia and luck of finding an item that old (almost 8 and a half years) was worth it.
 
I stopped by a Target I don't usually stop at. They had:

Just wanted to say thanks, I was able to snag the PS2/3 component cables from the Hybla Valley (Alexandria, VA) Target; last set too! I've been tired of switching my Gamestop 3 in 1 component cables b/w my 360 and PS2 but didnt want to spend $20 on another set. But $4.98? That's the perfect price. Thanks CAG!

I saw a Magnavox 20" LCD 1080i TV for about $200 in the clearence isle. I almost jumped on it b/c we need a new TV for the bedroom but I wasn't sure how good that model is.
 
Picked up FEAR Fold Edition for $12.98 and Galactic Civilization 2 Dread Lord for $4.98

Also picked up a Marvel Signature Series Sandman figure for $4.98 as well.

NFS: U is down to $9.98, and slowly dropping farther. Most of what's left at my Target is GH titles (Black, etc) but they did have X-Men Legends II for $9.98 on the shelf. Maybe when it gets a little lower, I'll pick up one of the 800 copies that were there.

Not exactly gaming related, but you can hook it up to your TV and 360...

Griffin AirDock for iPod w/ Remote $17.98 (orig $69.99)

The remote is RF, so you can use it without a direct line of sight. It's a tidy little all brushed aluminum housing...pretty sturdy and nice. should fit all ipod models 4th gen and upward that have a dock connector, including the new nano, classic, and touch.
 
I picked up a PS2 Official memory card 2 pack for $19.98.

Thought about picking up Titan Quest for $9.98 but decided to take my chances with 75% off.
 
Stopped at Target today. Got the PS3 S-Video cables for $4.98. I don't have a PS3 yet but it's only a matter of time... Can't use it on my PS2 because there is no S-Video connector on that setup... So I guess I'll use it my PS1 in the mean time.
 
saw Sid Meier's Pirates (PC) for $4.98 - if I didn't already have it, I'd be picking a copy up in a heartbeat.

The EA one is a "Cordless Precision" while the other one is a "Cordless Action" which I think pretty much replaced the former when it universally got better reviews. Dunno why the EA ones are precisions. Maybe thought the tie-in could be used to clear out old stock. I don't think the Action was that much higher rated (although it is highly rated) so a deal on the precision is still a good deal. I know IGN reviewed both of them with a comparison on the Action review.

EDIT- IGN only reviewed the action. Could have sworn they reviewed both. Sorry. Someone reviewed both and compared. I like the Action better than the Dualshock so if the precision isn't much different I would get it. May get one as a second controller.

My wife bought me two of the ea precisions for my birthday (thanks sweetie!).

I had trouble finding any accurate reviews. At least one said that they didn't have rumble, which isn't true. I have been extremely happy with them. They are almost as nice as my precious wavebirds.

With the oddly stuttered drops, I'm curious to see if NFS will drop again today. $10 is me sweet spot for even the most terrible Wii games. I'll swing by this afternoon and try to post my findings.

I had Titan Quest and the expansion for $4.98 at my Target. Picked up one of each, think they might eb sold out of em at this point though.
 
I picked up the Sony PS2 S-video cables for $4.98 yesterday. Was hoping for the component cables at the same price, but they appear to be long gone. I'll probably hang on to them until I have a chance to check other stores.

The Psyclone cables (component and S-video) are also $3.74-$4.98... is the quality on those any good?
 
I've seen a ton of those S-Video and AV cables on clearance at my Target for two bucks and change. I was hoping some of the component cables would carry over but the last set I saw sold when they hit the $13.98 price.

I wonder if we'll see any new clearance items today. I may swing by and check it out since I'm off work (one of the few perks of working for the state:D ).
 
Just got back from Target and the prices for all the Wii, Xbox, and PS2 clearance games were the same as last week

Also the 360 arcade stick was still $19.98

What time zone are you in, and did you actually have them scanned? The stickers themselves don't tend to be updated until afternoon/evening in electronics.
 
Picked up the 360 :)Arcade stick with the three games included for $19.98 money well spent not a bad controller and three decent games.
