Thanks to Skube and Oxidative for this coupon. Important things to note-- this will make games ten dollars or under free, but it's advised to buy another item, such as a pack of gum.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

I checked two Targets on my way to to work, neither had any new price drops yet that were any different than last week's clearance prices. Both stores had their clearance marked early Monday last week too, maybe they're just late on doing it this week.

early mondays probably aren't the best for price drops. I'd check back either later in the day or later in the week. i've been screwed before going early mondays and then finding out that price drops happened tuesdays. in the end, it depends on the store. good luck.

None of the Targets in the Tampa area have Folklore, Blue Dragon, or Ninja Gaiden Sigma. I'm sure someone hit them all, and either flipped them at BB/GS or listed them on eBay. It's very frustrating for those of us who want only a single copy for our personal use. Instead, selfish people would rather create more cash for themselves than allow others to enjoy the games.

On the flipside, I applaud those who offer to provide additional copies they've found for fellow gamers at cost + shipping.

If there are no good offers its getting flipped at BB for $36 on my way to class at 1pm EST (45 mins).

folklore in another one of my target's (this one in philadelphia city line avenue) showed 41.98.....maybe it was a case of dyslexia on the part of clearance people but that's what it showed.

Don't know if it's been posted in the thread yet, but I saw Rainbow Six Vegas for 360 at $19.99 at my store. Due to my local stores marking down slower than others nationwide, I'd say it could be lower at other stores. Project Gotham 4 was $29.99 I believe. MLB 07 The Show was down to $19, Crackdown at $29, the F1 PS3 racing game at $29, and Stranglehold at $29.

They also had some bottles of wine, a bunch of chocolate, and A1 steak sauce clearanced. If.. you know.. you feel like getting some random groceries on a game trip.

Someone grabbed all the 15+ Folklores since I was last in. Hopefully they went to good homes instead of jerk resellers. Hoarders are some of the worst kind of folk in this hobby.

They had a copy of Supcom for 20.98 at my store. 30 dollars is actually the retail price of the game now so it's not really a markdown rather adjusting to regular price.

Wow. Was the cashier really that confused? I thought the rule was if you looked less than 35, they are to ask for ID, but to actually have to be 35 to buy a game?

For mature rated games (and liquor... and some medications) the computer prompts the cashier to enter a birth date, which can be bypassed if the customer looks over 35. If she had entered your birth date, it would have worked.

Nothing of interest in the games, other than the odd platinum hits Xbox games dropping to 75% off, but the are now mad digital cameras on clearance (15% off). Practically the whole case.

:lol::lol::lol::lol: That's all I've got to say about THAT. I mean, don't get me wrong, I've been carded at the local casino and I'm 33, but most people don't even ask me for ID when buying a game. The few times I have been asked, I just kind of shake my head and show them the ID or give them my birth date.

Oddly enough, I just shaved my goatee into a in' Fu-Manchu, and was rocking that when I was asked for ID. It was just funny...I was having a GREAT Day, up until that (I found the absolute LAST Tekken 5 Hori Stick/Game bundle NEW at a Gamestop 50 miles out...for $26 incl tax out the door...).

Oh, and I should add that I asked an employee about the Simpson's 360 game dropping, and was told not until next week, prob to $14.98, and then they'll zero them out...

Stuntman started at 60 and unless you have one of the very few Targets that drops below 75% (which I doubt because that dropped out of system at most targets a month or two ago) then 14.98 is as low as it goes.

In the Atlanta area, new drops I saw today were:

Hah, I did pick up a couple of the bottles of A1 @ 1.78, they were the larger bottles too. The candy was Reese's crispy sticks @ around a dollar or so (bag of 30 maybe??), a bunch of Godiva and Gherabaldi (I think I spelled that right) chocolate squares of different sorts, Hershey dark/organic/very dark chocolate squares for around a $1 (individually wrapped in a back of 20 or so??), Whitman's Samplers for around $2 I think, a BUNCH of dry pasta (different varieties, I think Archer Farms stood out the most), Target brand peanut butter, Gherabaldi huge sampler boxes, Newman's Own dressing (Italian and Creamy Ceasar at about a $1 a bottle, definitely snagged some of that), and pretty much a whole line of Archer Farms various burger/sandwich spreads of some really odd flavors. Too bad they won't put Killian's 12 packs on clearance Something strange though, my Target started selling alcohol not too long ago. It isn't a Super Target and in a very conservative part of the nation, but if the clearance the booze the same way.. now THAT'S a clearance! I can't recall the wine selection, but I know that most of it was only at 30% off.

I'd go check for more price changes today (as the Prattville target is always on spot with stickering markdowns, something I'm not a fan of in terms of competition).. but CAG is getting too damned expensive. I have to buy an engagement ring, save up for a house.. it'll be easier once I can start managing the storage area network and transfer into a promotion for my employer, if they can ever get off their ass about implementing the thing. Kind of funny how clearance deals across the board are more expensive in a more volatile economic climate than 2 or 3 years ago, eh? How about the HD-DVD's? Anyone seen any changes? My local store's selection has really shrunk, but I'm wondering if they ever started stickering them at other stores. Most that I have scanned are still at full price.
