Thanks to Skube and Oxidative for this coupon. Important things to note-- this will make games ten dollars or under free, but it's advised to buy another item, such as a pack of gum.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

They have the The Simpsons and The Orange Box for the PS3 out on the clearance rack in one of the store but they were $34 and $41 something. Did get lucky and picked up the PS3 Mediaboard for $20 so guess it wasn't a total waste of gas.

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

May be worth the trouble for some of you guys waiting on the price drop. Lair and Orange Box still sit at $29.99; the piles of PG4 have now disappeared.

Rock Band for PC was around $59 I think. Psyclone PSP component cables and metal cases were marked $4.99.

For CAG's looking to get a date or g/f shitfaced for a deviation from playing a cheapass copy of Crackdown, Smirnoff Ice Triple Black was clearanced at $6.

Bertolli Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli skillet bag meals for two were clearanced at a little over $2.

Those cheap game rocker chairs were $9, some Tetra plastic aquarium plants were down to $2, Crest Renewal teeth whitening renewal kit was $13, medium sized bags of regular and organic Iams cat food were $6, and a few DVD players (a Magnavox and the Sony upconverting one come to mind) were marked at $32 and $42 respectively.

Had an interesting haul today, the 250+ copies of Crackdown have disappeared from one of my local Targets (Were there last week, still at $14.98, was hoping for $7.48). Got one of the Mad Catz Dance Pads for $9.98 (to go with the DDRU I picked up for $12.96 last year at Circuit City). PGR4 finally dropped to $14.98.

Also, the Wii component cables finally dropped to $4.98-- and the Target that used to have about 10 of them had one single solitary set left. (marked at $9.98, but scanned at $4.98) I snagged it for future use.

Lair is gone, Orange Box PS3 finally dropped to $29.98, and Simpsons PS3 is STILL at $24.98-- this is like the 4th week!! I'm afraid they aren't going to drop it to $12.48 but I really don't want to pay over $20 for it. There are still 3-4 copies but it's definitely moving a bit at this price, which may be why they're not dropping it? (They had 10+ last week)

Also saw some Memorex BluRay Rewritable discs for $6.24... was tempted to buy one but I have absolutely no use for it...

Just a word of caution. Model #WD1200U017-001 (see packege bottom, beside the UPC) contains an IDE hard drive (WD 1200W Scorpio). So no PS3 HD upgrades for the 001 model. It appears that at least the 003 models have the SATA drives so keep hunting.

Yeah, thanks for the heads up. I was able to grab one for $30. Nice find!! Mine also had a WD 250GB internal hard drive for $24.98. Sorry, I didn't get the DCPI...
