Thanks to Skube and Oxidative for this coupon. Important things to note-- this will make games ten dollars or under free, but it's advised to buy another item, such as a pack of gum.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

Pretty much what it sounds like - a tiny version of the Game Boy Advance. It is a nice little machine if you are into GBA games. But otherwise you might as well just use a DS if you only play them occasionally. I got one for $35 from CompUSA a year or so ago and have only used it once.

They were discontinued around then, so that's why it is wierd they are showing up now.

Update from yesterdays disaster at my Target. Well yesterday I reported that they only had LAIR and some PS2 games. Today EVERYTHING was gone. There were no games at all on the clearance area. Only ones left were Kane & Lynch and The Club because they are behind the glass. I asked 2 associates working in the area and neither knew what happened to them. Damn, guess that leaves only 1 Target within driving distance to get some Clearance deals. Bad thing is its the Target that never has anything. Hopefully that will change now. Maybe they sent them to that target because they sell out of stuff. Who knows.

I went to my Target yesterday to pick up a clearanced PC game that I knew they had 5 copies of in stock a couple of days earlier. When I got there, every clearance PC game had been pulled. One I went to pulled some Super Mario Bros. NES Classics (GBA) out. $6.98. I was kind of giddy (I just kept looking at it to make sure it was that game) since I had been looking for it for a while, but never wanted to pay the $50-60 for it.

For example, you can see on the updated list that as of 5-5-08 (this past Monday) the Simpsons game for ps3 was going for ~ $10. The site still has it listed at a hefty $39.99. Wouldn't places like Target do well to throw clearance prices on their website & charge a few bucks for standard shipping if they truly want to clear?

The difference is the clearance items at B&M stores take up valuable shelf space, whereas items on a website take up a small amount of space in a huge warehouse.

I'm sure that was just a fluke where they found some in the back of one store. The Micros seem to be popping up multiple places though. Another CAG told me about the Zelda DS but I never saw them myself (though it was at a Target pretty close to me). The stupid thing is that Target clearanced them to $100 which is just asinine as they would have been snapped up pretty quickly at full price. They sell for a huge premium on eBay. I still have a sealed Gold DS from December (no bundle as that was my copy of the game) that I might just sell as I don't particularly like the color anyway.

That's what I kinda figured but a guy can dream... Later today I'm going to make the rounds and hit up a couple of the Targets as well as a few other stores in the area and see if I can find any deals.

Check your reciept. It may give a seperate return value for each item. I know when they do a B1G1 promotion it gives you a value for each item.

Does anyone know the DPCI for Revenant Wings? I think I read a few pages back you can just give the DPCI to customer service and they will tell you if they have any in stock? Gas is too high for me to hit the rest of the Target's without knowing what exactly they have =/ I figure that if they can look it up in customer service, they probably have no clue what it is anyways, so no chance of them snatching it.

WOW!!! Just WOW!!! Someone obviously had big brass ones to pull that lovely exchange off. I certainly hope whoever might buy that package checks to make sure it's a DS3 first and doesn't wait to try and use it and end up SOL.

I've seen platinum GameCubes at some of the Target stores in the metro Detroit area, and I actually saw some Mario Kart Double Dash bundles too (console, game, and an extra controller). Both were $70.

No problem. I have been looking for target clearances for years and I just started calling with the DCPI numbers within the last week due the higher gas prices. It's not as much fun as going to the store and seeing what they have, but it's cheaper .

I have seen them for $27.98 and $19.98. I will keep you in mind if I see them get cheaper.

Hell, I'd take one at $19.98 if you could spare it Though it depends on a lot of factors.

PM me though, even though I figure cost + shipping + tax + a few bucks extra for the time makes it not such a hot deal anymore, lol.

And lucky you, I can't find one store that stocks them at all =/ I figure $20 is a good deal, but eventually the gas going to a Target is going to catch up to the $31.50 used Gamestop has it at 5 minutes up the road.
