Thanks to Skube and Oxidative for this coupon. Important things to note-- this will make games ten dollars or under free, but it's advised to buy another item, such as a pack of gum.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

FINALLY picked up crackdown for $14.98 last night. I hadn't been to Target in about three weeks - figured if it hadn't dropped by now, it never would!

I think there were two or three copies left, for any CO Springs CAGS. It was the Union/Academy store. They're still in the case, unmarked (or at least that was the case last night).

Most marked clearance stuff was in the case... everything seemed to be tagged on the high end of prices. No idea if the marked prices were correct, though.

Here's what I remember from the 2 stores I stopped at last night:

Various sports at $30-$42

I had bought the PS3 keyboard a few weeks ago for $52, but returned it to a different Target this past Saturday. When I went to this Target yesterday, they had it on the clearance endcap for $40, so I picked it up. Made me happy to save a few bucks, even though it wasn't the plan.

I'm debating between either keeping The Bigs or getting MLB 07. Anyone have any input as to which is the better game?

I was buying a 14.98 game and 2 4.98 games = 24.94, so I added a pack of gum per the cashier's recommendation. I was supprised she took it on video games, since I have been denied 4 or 5 times on video games, even with toys in the mix.

I got it for $25 as well, at Best Buy on Black Friday. Waiting in the cold for a couple of hours was totally worth getting that + Bioshock for $50 total (even though I was quite disappointed with Bioshock, I got a few hours out of it, and Orange Box is easily worth that $50 alone).

You got it...Mondays are it at Target. However, there is no guarantee of them being re-stickered on Monday, it could be the day after, etc. YMMV on how efficient they are with the price updates.

Yeah, everybody should check the PC accessory dept. for deals. A lot of the stuff is on the those hooks that have to be unlocked, so the clearance items never go to the endcap for everyone to see and buy. I'm watching a bunch of portable hard drives that just went to 50% this week. Can't wait until they drop to $30 which is just about how much thumbdrives go for. Noticing a lot of LCD monitors going on clearance as well as some Audiovox 10" personal DVD players. Wish my store would clearance out its Zunes.

Is one version of The Orange Box better than the other? I've been wanting to get this title for awhile now. I was going to initially get it on the 360, but now that the PS3 version is being cleared out, this might be the better way to go, that is, if there is no difference between the 360 and PS3 versions. Only the PS3 version is on clearance, right?

Upon release, I read that the PS3 version had a decent amount of slowdown. I believe it has been patched, but I don't know if it brought it up to snuff with the 360 version. I'd do some Internet research on it. Also, consider which system your friends have it on if you plan to play Team Fortress 2.

The only clearance game for 360 at my Target has been Viva Pinata party animals at $14.98 for weeks and weeks lol. It's depressing. There's a buttload of PS3 games though. I dont want Party Animals (maybe for $10). Wonder if another target in my city is more of a "clearance store" as my city has at like 4-6 target stores and i regularly visit the one by my home n the one by my job w/ little clearance 360 games or luck

Go look in the OP for the link to the Target clearance trading thread. Post a list of what PS3 games you can get your hands on, and try to work out a trade for somebody for a 360 clearance game you want. It sucks, but sometimes that's the only way to get the clearance titles you want.

The new Zunes look completely different than the old ones. Look at the pics on amazon, you'll see.
