Thanks to Skube and Oxidative for this coupon. Important things to note-- this will make games ten dollars or under free, but it's advised to buy another item, such as a pack of gum.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

picked up a few copies of lego star wars for 4.98 and the next to last copy of stranglehold for 14.98 but soon as i got home i realized the disc was loose in the case... gotta go return it now and hope the last copy is still there, also i saw a crap load of ps3 games in the case, old ones, like nba street homecourt and nba 07 but don't have a ps3 therefore don't really care about pricing but i'll check for a full list of games monday (as they are closed sundays)

I went to the Target in Westbury, Long Island yesterday and they had The Orange Box, Motorstorm and NBA 2K8 for $30. (I picked up The Orange Box to try out Portal.)

I'm pretty sure they are YMMV but you may want to check your local Target if you're interested.

Local Target had all their games on the clearance rack disappear today. Looks like they must have shipped out anything that hadn't sold to Goodwill or possibly another target. Nothing was really left anyways. Hopefully this means they will be marking down a bunch of games tomorrow.

I also noticed that some games I had been watching (NHL 2K8, PGR4 and College Hoops 2K8) were missing from the glass case. They had been listed at 29.98 this past week. Does this mean they pulled them to mark them down and put them in the clearance section tomorrow? Anyone work at Target know if this is how it usually goes down?

Most previews stated that there was terrible lag, while most reviews stated that much of the lag was fixed. I played the game and the lag wasn't as bad as the reviewers made it out to be. Reviews are old at this point now, and a patch was recently released fixing any of the lag problems that still existed. If you're on the fence because of old reviews, just get off the fence and buy the game...the patch fixed everything

I saw one in an endcap, marked $13.98(30% off) and then in the Wii aisle there were like 5 unmarked ones(that I was stupid enough to not scan, but they were the same product). I know this is CAG, but man some of you guys are cheap. I'd jump on the Orange Box for $30, and all I'm interested in is Portal. Unfortunately none of the Targets around here even carry most of the games people are picking up, forget about getting them on clearance. Honestly Crackdown is the only game I can remember seeing on clearance around here. The closest I got to a PS3 deal was seeing a couple of copies of Untold Legends marked down to $20 long after everyone else was already selling it at that price.

hey guys I just got back from my local target (springfield, pa). They had lego star wars the original trilogy (family hits version) for $5. I never played a lego-anything game, but i figured any 360 game is worth five bucks.

never go by price tags... always ask to have it scanned, i'm sure it's at least $41.98, even if it has an orange sticker they aren't always right so next time you're there ask to have it scanned

I have to 2nd that....just picked up F1 for the PS3 the other day that was still shelf marked in the case at the full price of $59.99 but scanning the DCPI revealed it was $14.98 and of course that single copy just had to me mine

Mafia and other people suggest once they go below 75% they are sent to salvage. So the cheapest you'll see a $60 title should be $15. However, $20 titles like PGR3 can go as low as $5.00 like when I bought mine. Same for other $20 items.

However once I did score some shit (long ago) for $1 PC titles.
