This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

The Rwlett Texas store is fully stocked here is what I saw today:

Xbox 360: Condeamed 2, Viking, NBA Ballers, Kayne and Lynch- $9.98

Xbox 360- Spiderwick, The Club- $12.48

They also had Grid, DragonBallz, Frontline, Lost Odyssey for $30-40 I will wait for those to drop even more.

They had a few DS games for $14 Enchanted, Ratatoolie, Bee Movie and a few others I would wait for a drop on these as well.

There was one 360 hardrive left.

ALSO one game nobody here has mentioned fot the Wii Smackdown 2008- $7.48.
 
I went to a Target at Tucson Az, Don't know the address since i was just going by the city and saw Ninja Gaiden DS and Final Fantasy Rings of Faith for $9.9x. Sorry I don't know the exact store.
 
Hey all, I apologize for not reading all 139 pages so sorry if this has been answered, but are these prices YMMV or system wide?

I saw FF12 for 9.98 at my Target tonight but it's on the list in the first post for 4.98.. for 5 bucks I'll probably grab it if so...

Welllll, the first post says the listed prices could be higher or lower at your store. So, yes, they are YMMV. Typically stores drop prices in different speeds.
Like all of you people finding Viking for 9.98! Still 19.98 in my parts.

I was about to post the same thing, like when Zelda Ds isn't even on clearance in some stores.
 
Are we sure about the FFTA2 drop, I have checked 3 targets (My local one, the one 10 minutes north that I suspect may be in a different district, and I was down south 30 minutes from where I was) and its $39.99 every where.

Oh, also, got anther FFCC:RoF for $7.98 and Bully for the Wii for 12.48.

on my local runs through the Riverside, CA stores i've been scanning Call of Duty 4 for the PC, and not one store has had it in their system... weird. Were they suppose to pull them and stop selling them?>

Picked up Condemned 2 - $9.98 this evening.
Saw GTA IV SE Xbox 360 - ~$63 - I'd like to see this drop some more, then I'll be tempted.
Lost Odyssey - ~$30 - Waiting for it to drop as well.

My Target has been really slim pickings lately. I was shocked to see so much all of the sudden. They had a bunch of other 360 games but I can't remember them off the top of my head due to lack of interest. I'm sure they're the same games already listed.

I also noticed a bunch of Logitech Harmony 520 remotes. for about $70. I have the 360 version and totally love it. I could use a 520 for Christmas presents if they drop any lower. If you do not have something like the Harmony remote, you're missing out :)

This is also a good time to pick up iPod Touch v.1 and iPod Nano v.3 cases for cheap at Target since the new models were released.
 
I beat Condemned 2 over the weekend and it is DEFINITELY worth the $10, hell, it's worth much more than that IMO. I love the Condemned games.

I wish I could find Viking near me, but oh well. I can score it new for $20 elsewhere I guess.
 
Picked up Condemned 2 (360) for 9.98 and God of War (PS2) for 9.98. Unreal Tournament (PS3) was still 19.98, waiting for it to hopefully drop one more time.

I was in Target yesterday looking for the battery deal and stumbled upon an Xbox360 20GB hard drive with the red clearance sticker priced at 24.99. I'm going back to buy it this morning and will post receipt. Store is Little Rock, AR and it was the last one left
 
I've seen these at the Targets in Phoenix this last weekend too. I just couldn't figure out what to do with an extra hard drive. The resale value is going down now that everyone wants the bigger hard drive and I didn't see a point of switching it out on my xbox. But good deal non the less.

Actually a lot of people are reporting the new price drop.
 
I posted that deal on slickdeals SNESimon (thanks for the credit) but didn't know if anyone had posted it over here yet. Also saw the GTA4, condemned, and other clearance games priced thats been noted here. An associate in the know said the clearance should be nationwide approximately within the week so if it isn't in your stores yet it should be soon.
 
Looks like the 20GB Hard drives are on clearance now. I picked one up for my backup arcade unit (really for another room).

Well, I went to 3 different Targets yesterday, and all 3 had COD4 PC showing as out of system. Two of the Targets pulled the games off the shelf as soon as showed them, and the other one actually gave it to me for $7.46. Not as good as $4.96, but still pretty freakin' good! No as-is stickers or anything... I have never seen anything like this at Target before. I wonder if somebody in corporate actually screwed the database listing for this game since it seems to have affect A LOT of Targets across the country. (I'm in NorCal).

I've had at least 3 different Target employees in the returns department at 2 different Target stores tell me that this is what I need to do get a price adjustment on clearance items because they can't manually price adjust clearanced items.

Any CAGs that are able to get COD4 for cheap willing to sell the game & key? Tried last night and it didn't ring up in the price scanner, but the person in electronics just told me $49.99.

That might be a bit challenging: out of the 5-10 stores we heard about, I'm guessing only 2 really had it marked down so people could buy without getting the help of a clerk --- and those who did get the clerk's help, had to get a guestimated price after much fenageling (sp?). But who knows, my gut tells me that any day now, these will start ringing up at clearance prices. :)
 
Checked a local Target for CoD4. It didn't scan so I asked an employee. The dude was saying it was on clearance at first but he wanted to check the PC games shelf. Unfortunately, the retail price for the game was still marked there so he said he couldn't give it on clearance. Oh well.
 
I asked the clerk today and they said Lost Odyssey and Grid will drip in another 3 weeks to $15. $15 is 75% off so after that no more drops.

People have reported snagging this at $4.98. My advice is to keep an eye on that copy in the coming weeks. It will drop sooner or later.
 
Spotted a few of the 20GB HD's for $24.98 in Fullerton last night. I'd have picked one up, but I already have one and don't see much use in having two.

Not clearance per se, but the PS2 Singstar Pop bundle is on a Temporary Price Cut for $120.

:ds: Professor Layton and :ds: FFTA2 still rang up full price.

It looks like :ds: Space Invaders Extreme may soon hit clearance. Anyone catch the DPCI for that?
 
CoD4 is still on the main PC endcap for 49.99 at my local target. probably won't clearance out anytime soon. did find GRID (360) for 29.98. kane & lynch (360) is still 19.98. UT3 (ps3) is 19.98. GTAIV collectors (360) is 62.98. so all in all, nothing too great. these prices are at duluth, mn target.
 
For the first time in a while (damn gas prices) I combed the area to see if I could find anything random. Two stores had Viking for 19.98 (damn it!) but I did wind up withthe copies of PQ2 for PSP for 3.74, and Buzz Trivia with the buzzers for 9.98. I passed up the Buzz Junior with buzzers, which was the same price. This is the Target on Val Vista and Warner in Gilbert, Arizona.
