This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

It hasn't hit $14.98 at many stores. I'd say 95% of stores are still at $29.99 as of today and no drops should occur until Monday.

Don't feel so bad. My targets had 2 Lego star wars for the GBA on clearance for 14 since at least March. I don't even know why I still bother to scan the thing.

Also non-game related, the shrinkwrapped pack of 5 1-subject 70 page notebooks are $0.12 each. Picked up 5 packs and might go buy more. A nice thing to donate to charities for school supplies. :)
 
Picked up Singstar 80's game only for 7.48 and Condemned 2 for 360 for 9.98 at the San Jose Target in Jacksonvile, FL.

Picked up Bully Wii for $7.48 and K&L 360 for $9.98. Both were the last copy.

No drop in price for Scene It ($14.98), GTA:SE 360 ($61.98) or Bourne Conspiracy PS3 ($29.98).
 
Here in Champaign, IL I got Simpsons Wii for $20.98 (wish it had been $14.98 like some people got) and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City for PC for $6.98. Vice City was funny because I was looking to buy it for the regular $10 and the tag was there but no games and then one copy in the clearance area.
 
I don't get how you guys are getting COD4 for 4.98. Yeah, its out of the system, but the price is still on the shelf. I guess I just needed to find a cashier that would let me talk them into it. All I ended up doing was wasting 10 minutes waiting on a supervisor to deny me.

I found World of Warcraft 60 days pre-paid time card. mark down to $3.72 ea ($29.99 in Amazon). There were 10 of them in one of Houston Target but it's gone now :).

Kane and Lynch was $20, Viking was $15, Madden 08 was $15, Mx vs. Atv untamed was $22, GRID was not even there and the other store did not have jack shit.

I did not check any Targets in San Jose including Oakridge so if anyone knows of anything please let me know, i would die to get GRID for $15.

The Special Edition of GTA IV is clearanced now? Interesting. There was a lone PS3 copy at my one local Target, which I found odd since there were like 6-10 copies sitting in the bottom of the PS3 case just two weeks or so ago.

If it's able to remain there until it reaches 75% off, I may actually grab another one and give it to my one buddy for his families' PS3 for Christmas.

I also saw about 20-25 copies of Scene It for 360, which was marked $29.98 or so, I believe. Otherwise, there was nothing really worthwhile at my local store.

Sorry IATCG but only the 360 version is being clearanced out right now. I have scanned the PS3 version several times but it's always $89.99. In my area, there seems to be more of the 360 version (only 1 or 2 of the PS3 version, if at all).
 
In my area, I think the clerks at Target are seriously confused, since one week Kane & Lynch was on clearance. Then the next, it 'wasn't supposed to be clearanced yet', while everyone else on here kept reporting on it dropping more and more at their stores.

Then a week or three later, it suddenly went back on clearance and it was long gone before 90% off.

Thanks! I think I'll wait till next week then to see if it drops anymore. I think if it hits $20 I'll bite. But yeah 6 hours to unlock everything is kinda short.
 
Everyone seems to be excited about The Simpsons :wii: for $14.98. I passed until another drop because it seemed like barely a $10 game to me, but is it really good or something?

From what I've seen of it, it reminded me ALOT of the old Simpsons arcade game from back in the day.

Kmart had it on clearance a while back, but it must've gone out of the system and they had to re-enter the amount to charge for it, since one of my closest stores has 2-3 copies of it for PS3 and they come up as $29.99.
 
I had the clerk scan both Lost Odessey and Scene It and both rang up at 41.xx at my Target. I also found a bunch of Madden 08 (360) & FF XII (PS2) for $10, I think. Bully & Blast Works for the Wii were either 12.48 or 14.98, but passed on everything.

What I found weird was that alot of the clearence games were inside the glass shelf where all the regular priced games are at.Do you guys think I could atleast sell EYOJ for around $20 w/o the camera?That's the only thing I'm really interested in.

If you don't mind taking credit, you can get $30 for EOJ @ Blockbuster in trade credit. Plus, some of the cards that come with the package are Ebay-able for some serious $$$, so you could make the entire package pay for itself in a couple of steps.

Snagged The last 360 Bully S.E. for $7.48 at the Hicksville, NY store.
I actually thought that there were 2 copies there,
but the game behind Bully turned out to be Bourne for $41.98...

I took 1 to the price checker and it said "Item Not Found" I didn't think it was out of the system yet so I asked the electronics guy to look it up for me. He tried, got the same error and then told me, "It is a return; someone returned the wrong game." WTF?!? OK, at this point I knew I was dealing with an idiot so I said I didn't want it and I was about to leave. He walked over to put the game back on the shelf and he saw the $49.99 price tag and said, "Oh, it is $49.99". I just kept walking. I didn't feel like getting in an argument about it. None of the 3 copies had the red clearance tags on them. This Target is always good about having the latest clearance prices on the products.

So, those 3 are going to sit there until they discover the price is wrong b/c they won't scan at the registers. I could always remove the shelf tag and have CS look up the last price. Hmmm....
 
Pretty cool find for me today when I was looking for Scene It at the $14 price...Guild Wars: Factions for $14. I haven't played this series yet and since there's no MMO fees like all the others out there, I figured I would try it on the new rig I just built! :)

You need to take it up to the front cashier. If it doesn't scan there, mention that it was in a clearance pile with a lot of other random PC games. The cashier may then:

1) Suggest what they think is a reasonable price
2) Ask you what a reasonable price is
3) Call a manager

In my experience, option 3 is the rarest. You have a high probability of getting lucky if you take it up to the front. If they try to charge you too much, you can always tell them you don't want it.

My local Target drop Scene It to $14.xx. I remember being in the back room when one of my lady friends was taking it out of the locked room. She ask me that if I had a 360 and she told me about it.

I was gonna get one of the probably 20 available after cashing my check today, but I was too tired to go back since I do unload the trailer there. Tomorro I might pick one up if they are still any left.
 
Some of these are definitely varied by location. Went to two Targets today and FFTA2 and Avdance Wars: Day of Ruin were both at regular prices still. Told a friend about the FFTA2 thing and he checked the Target in his area. According to the guy working there, the game didn't show up in the online inventory (or some such) so a lot of stores mistakenly marked it down with the other clearance stuff.
 
Picked up Grid and Lost Odyssey for $14.98. Scene it! dropped to the same price (already have it). This was an odd day for a game clearance drop (usually monday).

Also picked up some nice Eddie Bauer Luggage at 75% off.
 
finally found Scene It for $14.98(also got Grid for 14.98) too somewhere in Virginia (was driving thru on my way to MD, decided to stop and see what they had) it was off Rt85, north of Richmond
 
Yeah, I'm gonna keep my fingers crossed that Lost Odyssey around here stays in stock and drops to that magical $14.98 point on Monday.

Also, saw Eye of Judgment for $34.98 at the Merrillville store and looked to be the last one.
