This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks!

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

Didn't see any drops when I stopped before work this morning, but they hadn't even been open for half an hour at that point, so they might have just not gotten around to doing them yet.

You can buy that in gamestop for 20 dollars new its on sale.
 
Went hoping to find 50 Cent for $15 but someone bought all 8+ copies by 2 hours after opening.

Did see Motorstorm Pacific Rift for $41.98, that was new. No other drops.
 
Fear 2 now $12.48 at Talor St., Houston location. Wasn't changed as of Friday, so they must do their updates on Monday. however, when I asked the clerk, he was clueless...

Waiting for Endwar bundle to drop in most Houston locations, still $44.98, gotta get me that 1st party headset for $22, probably will never play the game.
 
Still waiting on 50Cent to drop below $29.98 locally. Unfortunately, only 1 Target still had copies and they sloooooow to update clearance prices (i.e. Afro Samurai was priced at $41.98 for over a month).

Depends on 1) what price you mean, and 2) how much you want the bluetooth headset. From what I've heard, the game isn't that great, but the $22.98 price some are reporting is a decent price for a headset. Not really worth it at $44.98 (which it still is here) IMHO.

Saw Motorstorm PR for $41.98 as well.
Game is great at full price....and an absolute steal when it hits the lower clearance prices.

Highly recommend.

I can't believe Ninja Blade still hasn't dropped. It's been at $19.98 for weeks now.
 
No luck at the papermill and 5th st targets! :( Endwar is still $44. I did see at the papermill they added Motorstorm Pacific Rift for $41. I can't believe its taking so long to drop the price of endwar uhhh!!

Not sure how you can say it's not worth it at $45, when the headset alone sells for $50. You're getting $5 off the headset and a free game on top of it...
 
To D/FW CAGs, I just picked up FEAR 2 (360) at the Denton, TX store for $12.48 and there is one more copy left as of right now.

Nothing else really noteworthy.

So I'm saving a whole $5 and getting a game I'll probably never play? Ok, if I really wanted the headset right now it might be worth it, but it's not exactly what I'd call a bargain. Also, you can use any bluetooth headset with the PS3, and various Motorola models often go on sale for less than that.

As I said, whether it's worth it or not all depends on how much you want the headset.

Wow! Score. At my Target, they must have pulled all the RAW vs Smackdown because there were almost 20 of them sitting at 12.48. Unless one day they dropped to $6.24 and someone hogged them all.

I had to pick up all those titles for double the amount because they were the last ones and I wasn't going to chance it. Except for FEAR 2. I got it for 12.48 too.
 
I just wanted to express my jealously at your cocktease like postings of finding chronicles of riddick for 14.98 and FEAR 2 for 12.49. You lucky, lucky SOBs. Carry on.
 
Endwar was still $44.xx but did find all those clearance 360 games for that price. Don't have a 360 yet, so that was money well saved.

Fear 2 - Completely gone

Seriously? That Ninja Blade has been $28 for a MONTH now (along with Riddick and 50 Cent).. and every week I take it to the scanner, and keep getting the same price. Ridiculous.

Picked up :360: 50 Cent for $14.98 at tbe Merrillville store. Just got there as they were finishing markdowns. Was hoping to pick up Riddick today, too. Stuck at $30 for another week, though.
 
The Target in Clinton, Iowa (That's right, both of us will be able to find deals!) now has WarHawk with a mic for 15 dollars.
 
FINALLY managed to track down a GHWT for $14.98. Was sure I'd miss out since it seemed like the game was slowly selling at $29.98. Also saw a huge stack of Memorex 2gb USB flash drives for $4.88 (I got a couple to have-- not the greatest price but not horrible, may not open them and see if a few survive to $2.xx) and 30 pack jewel cases for $4.88.

The 320gb WD hard drives stubbornly stay at $55.. ugh!

Other than the Pokemon Emerald for $17.48, it is a waste of time, as they seem to refuse to mark down anything. I can't believe this store is still stuck at 30% off... the Pokemon's went on clearance and got marked down faster than Riddick / 50 Cent / Ninja Blade, haha.
 
The clearance section in the Florence, KY store is getting overloaded with games. They keep packing more in but are slow to mark them down to CAG-appropriate levels :D
 
I went in today right as the clerk was putting games on the clearance shelf, so I got pretty excited. Turned out to be nothing but PS3 PoPs for $27, and Motorstorm: PR for $42. The rest was shovelware.
 
Only new drop was Pacific Rift and it wa $41.98.

I picked up a copy of Guitar Hero World Tour for the PS3 but probably won't keep it. If any CAG wants it, PM me. I'll only charge cost + paypal fee + shipping.

Man, and I get frustrated when my store is one price drop behind.
 
Picked up FEAR 2 at the RIchardson TX store today for $12.48.

THere were also markdowns on the Wii games but all that was there was crap. Don King Boxing $9.98, and a few others.

Are you looking for it to drop below $22.48? I've read that the *.48 price point means last drop before it goes OOS; even at $22.48, that's a great price. I returned my $29.98 GH:WT (after rebuying at $14.98) and bought two copies of Endwar to have two headsets. I'm not even sure if I'll play the game, although it does have trophies...
 
Any drops on the Endwar bundle in the OC? I really don't feel like making the drive out just to be met with disappointment. :cry:
 
I got 50 cent for 14.xx at Broadway Mall Target in NY ( 2 or 3 of them left), Chronicles of R is still 29.xx and Ninja blade is still 19.99.
 
just got back from my local store & picked fear 2 $12.98 (last one) & GH WT for $14.98 but i also saw a drop idk if its been mentioned before but i saw Motorstorm:pR for $41.98 keeping my eye out on that one

My best target did well today as they had a FEAR 2 for 12.XX

They still haven't moved Riddick. Listed at 41.xx

They had fifty at $41.xx as well

GH:WT was at $14.xx for the ps3 if that goes below that I'm going to have to buy it.

Gonna check a few other targets friday after work.
 
Just got back from the Target in Kernersville, NC

They had
Ninja Blade (a few copies still) $20 from $28,
Riddick at $30 from $41,
and a newly added Prince of Persia for $20, which I haven't seen on clearance personally. Isn't really a deal though.

Also a bunch of PS3 End War bundles.

HAWX 360 wasn't changed at all.

FEAR 2 was gone (ARGH! and it was just marked down to $12!)

A few new PSP games that I don't recall as well.

And quite a few Civ 4 GOTY's for around $7 or $9.
 
I saw 50 Cent in the $30 range, gonna let that sit a while longer.

Endwar PS3 bundle is still $41.xx... god damn I want that bluetooth for a more reasonable price. Good thing this Target's only 5 minutes away, I'll try again Friday or next week or something.
