This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks!

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

PC - Velvet Assassin $34.98
PC- The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena $27.98

To those that are waiting on the Orange Box
(assuming you haven't played any of the games)

1.You are a fool for not playing TF2 yet
2.You are a jerk for not playing EP2 yet
3.You are Un-American for not playing Portal yet
4.The game was already a steal when it came out in the first place, so why wait?!
5.You must get it on PC for better controls and free mods(including all the great free Source engine mods on ModDB and Steam)

LOL, I almost bit on that today!!
In a totally non-gaming related yet awesome clearance find, I purchased a pose-able Domo plush regularly $12.99 for $3.2x today. He looks way to bad ass to pass up.
I suppose its time to check out the toy section too ;)

Alright. The one Target in Irvine with the 12+ EndWar Bundles got wiped clean. None left at all. However, the other Target in Irvine like a mile from it got about 7 Motorstorm: Pacific Rifts added to the clearance aisle. Hoping the Motorstorm's drop by this Monday so I can snag most of them to trade on Goozex.

Went to one Target today, and the F.E.A.R. 2 they had was missing (was $25 last I checked). Just hope the other Target that had more copies of it drops to $15.

Went to my Target today and couldn't even find any kind of clearance deals. Is there a certain part of the store the clearance stuff is usually in? I thought it was behind the games aisle but it was just a bunch of electronics there.

The Targets around here just have a small section somewhere within the electronics marked as Clearence. Most items in that area would probably have red stickers on them. Not just games, but other clearence electronics items as well.
my fucking target has motorstorm PR still for 30, Fear 2 for 42, and Riddick for $42. WTF!!!
While the Riddick and FEAR2 are higher than I've seen. The MotorStorm PR at 30 is the lowest I've seen. The first MotorStorm is going for less, but not PR yet.

Seattle Northgate Target still has HAWX, Riddick and Battlestations Pacific for $42 and Ninja Blade for $28. They added PS3 Fear 2 for $35 but apparently that was low enough for people to buy them all up (or hide?). Also added some PS3 Tomb Raider Underworld for $21. A couple PS3 Endwar w/Bluetooth can be found if you look around, but they aren't being kept with the clearance games for some reason. Still have a bunch of PS3 NCAA Football 09 for $15.

Will I like Motorstorm PR if I don't like racing games at all? I bought GT5 Prologue for $10 but only played it once... I saw Motorstorm PR and didn't buy it but after seeing a LOT of user reviews I'm thinking twice...
For those that are thinking of picking up the endwar bundle for the headset... I did and I have to say Sony's headset is pretty crappy. Pales in comparison to my Plantronics Voyager 520 which can be had for 37.99 on Amazon. If you have the extra cash I highly recommend it.

eh- to each their own. I like my sony headset and haven't had any problems with it. My friend and I played through RE5 with them and had no feedback or static issues like i had with some of the other ones I've used.
How would you say the PS3 one from the Endwar bundle compares to the Jabra BT125 headset from the Warhawk bundle (I just picked that up not long ago at Sears)?

well considering that it is a racing game I'd say no.lol

I personally think it's super comfortable. Feedback and static is there as with any other bluetooth. The only headsets that I know for a fact will cancel outside noise completely with crisp sound are the Jawbones which can run you up to $100. I used to sell phones and accessories for Verizon. :cold:

Motorstorm PR is a great game!!!!!!
Grab the Demo on pSN network...
i hate (well am not a fan) of racing games, but that one is just different its fun and grungy..

I would buy the game for 30 but, being a CAG ive gotten better deals here and brought waaaaaaaay more games than I would of ever imagined me buying

Does anyone know more or less what 360 titles are at the target in Brooklyn, NY... I'm hoping to snag fifty cent:blood on the sand, But really, i just want a new game and i don't want to pay full price. I'm broke like a joke.
How would you say the PS3 one from the Endwar bundle compares to the Jabra BT125 headset from the Warhawk bundle (I just picked that up not long ago at Sears)?
I've never used a Jabra headset, but what I don't like about the PS3 headset is that it is kind of clunky, the plastic is hard, and the sound is kind of hollow and unnatural. Also the buttons are really small and I have to remove it from my ear to use them. I haven't noticed any feedback or anything like that. I'm not gonna throw it away, you know, it's just good not great.
The Target near Perimeter Mall, Alpharetta Georgia has 3 more End Wars w/headset(PS3) on clearance for 22.xx. I just picked up one for myself. They also had Motorstorm (PS3) for 14.xx too.
No more Motorstorm there this morning. Just Pacific Rift for $30. Hoping that one drops soon.

OP!

I purchased
iconps3.gif
MotorStorm Pacific Rift at my local Target for 29.98.
You guys complaining about Motorstorm still at $30 are hilarious... I've yet to see it under the $41.98 price...
for sure, I just came back from a run after seeing so much $30 talk. it's still $41.98 around here

Just an FYI post. If you come looking for deals in Waco, Tx, you will have to wait 2 wks after the deal is posted on this thread to get it at this price. Our store is alittle behind schedule.

After seeing a guy at a KMart by where I work with a cart stuffed with every single clearance game bundle, I felt like I had to buy these 2 HM3 DDR 360 bundles at my local Target. Silly thing is they've been sitting between the glass cases above the GHWT bundles unmarked for the last month, while scanning, "item not found". Called a few friends to see who'd be interested, and gave them away as gifts. Paid $4.98 for each of them.

My target also has Motorstorm for $30 Nothing much else but Tomb Raider Underworld for $20. To high for my blood. Will wait it out whether I get one or not.

Oh Man, was that Motorstorm Pacific Rift for $15? I thought it was the first one. I sure hope I didn't pass up that deal.

I had my daughter screaming, so I just passed it up assuming it was the first one.

It very well could have been the first Motorstorm, since that is on clearance as well. But in retrospect, it could have been Pacific Rift too.

finally got Riddick at 14.98!! Ninja blade is still 27.98.
Funny thing is riddick is behind the glass with a godfather 2 sticker for 59.99 in front of it.
Oh and still tons of madden 09 for ps2 left go figure!
I haven't played Orange Box yet either.

...it's on my "to do" list.
Orange Box or Half-Life 2 with its two expansions was one of the greatest games I've ever played (at least in my Top 3).

The Targets in my area are shyt.

Only games marked down relatively cheap are Fiddy $15 and Riddick $15. I really want Eye of Judgment for $15 - $20, just for the camera :)

I picked up EndWar for $22.50 although it was tagged at $44.98 (price check FTW). It might be lower somewhere, but I decided to get it anyway. I have a question about it. Does it have the bluetooth headset stand? This is the PS3 version.
After giving my local fellow CAGers the chance to buy it off me, I decided to reSturn my $14.98 copy of :360: 50 Cent:BotS. Couldn't justify the money twhen for $5 more at Gamestop I could get a game I really wanted (Bionic Commando or SFIV).

I took it up to the counter to return it, she got out the box cutter and opened it! When I asked why, she said that corporate policy was to open all games to make sure the disc was still there. The frustrating part of the story is that she said it will now be sent back to the manufacturer as 'defective'.

Has this happened to anyone else?
This has happened to me 3 times. The last time, I was attempting to return/rebuy a copy of Fear 2 :360: that I picked up for another CAG. I bought it at 50% off and wanted to rebuy it at 75% off. Well, the lady at CS ruined my plans when she found it necessary to open the case to make sure the disc was there. This was actually in a decent area so I think it has to do more with the individual who is doing the return than anything else.
:ds: Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time - $19.98 (come on, one more price drop...)
I had only seen one Target in my area with this game on clearance. Actually, none of the other Targets had it in stock, even at MSRP. I picked up what I thought was the last copy at $27.98 (30% off). I had planned on doing a return/rebuy when the price dropped to $9.98. Well, today I found another Target that has 3 copies at 30% off. Hopefully, they last until they hit $9.98. If not, then I'll attempt to do a return/rebuy with the copy I already have.
Cleveland Area target 7-31

Motorstorm PS3 7.xx

Naruto 2 psp 9.xx

Prince of persia PS3 9.xx
Hmmm 9.xx on Naruto isnt too bad, been waiting for that to drop. Makes excellent gifts for a few people I know.

Went to my local Target yesterday for some groceries and decided to check the clearance section for shits n' giggles...Found the last copy of Ninja Blade finally dropped from $27.98 to $9.98. I happily picked it up! :) ...though this makes me wish I knew when they adjusted the prices at this Target because it never happens on Monday.

Check the price cut tag, and it might say. Well, if Target's like most stores anyway. It might just have the month and date it was marked down, so look for that.

Picked up Ninja Blade for $9.98 and traded it in for $18 at GS since I don't have a 360. Also got the Endwar bundle for $22.xx. I have the game already so traded that in for $12 at GS. I really like the headset, well worth $22!

Thanks for the heads up on the Endwar bundles; the headset works great so far.

Chattanooga north Target had about one of what everyone's talking about, except the console deal. The other target probably has another Endwar bundle, but I grabbed the only one at North. Lots of PSP and DS, but I didn't look to much into them, they seemed to be just a few bucks below regular price.

Yes it should have the bluetooth headset stand, since you have to charge it every 10-12+ hours.
