This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks!

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

any price drops this week yet? I talked to a guy putting stickers on some games a bit ago and he said clearance prices usually drop every 3 weeks. not sure if it might just be for the store i was at or a general policy... anyone else heard similar?

not sure if you meant dead space $20, but its selling at most targets for 15-20 currently... probably at least be able to grab that one cheaper

I picked up Bionic Commando for 14.98 & Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosaurs for 12.48 on the 360. The Target also had Sonic & Tomb Raider for 9.98.

If anyone can find a copy of Riddick for the 360 for around 15 I will buy it off you.

Picked up Henry Hatsworth x2 @ $4.98 (last 2) and Dynasty Warriors Strikeforce @ $9.98 (last one). I'm starting to think my Targets are doing drops on Fridays, because last Monday, there were 10+ copies of Dynasty Warriors at 30% off, and I went an hour after opening.

No other good drops, but 3 copies of Battlestations: Pacific for $14.xx, but I didn't get them. Dead Space still $20.xx, Mad World still $20.xx, Socom bundle still $41.xx, X-Blades still $41.xx, etc.

*edit* Just checked eStarland's TIV for Battlestations: Pacific, and I might go pick up two copies to flip... There's a great Odin Sphere figure coming out.

Have you tried Zubo yet? I think that they still have a copy at my Target, but it was still around $10 or $15 so I didn't get it. If I go back and they have it for $4.98, I will probably get it.

I got Henry Hatsworth for $14 a week or two ago, paid $14 for it, but it is an awesome game and well worth the money. I'm glad I decided not to wait for a drop because they are all gone now. Honestly, I can't believe how fast the price has dropped because I think the game is great.

Thanks. Five dollars is a price I usually don't scuff at, for that price I don't really care so much (though I've picked up a few too many games lately I haven't liked because they were cheap, so I'm trying to cut back a little)

I picked up Rainbow Six Vegas PH 360 for $13.xx. I also found a copy of SOCOM w/headset for $29.xx, and EndWar w/ headset for $22.xx.

For RB: Vegas X360, is the game worth it if I'm only playing local?
For SOCOM PS3, is the game pretty good? I've only played SOCOM 1 on PS2, and I sucked at that.
For EndWar PS3, I got it purely for the headset. I've read the reviews for it, but is it easy to get into?

Any suggestion would be great.

My Target has 2 360 copiesw of the GH:WT Bundle with 2 wireless Les Pauls for $22.98...

I was extremely tempted, because i would like another LP since my first broke, but do i really need another guitar? Plus i already own GH:WT.

I just thought i could put that $23 towards a future release game

Got 3 copies of Peggle Dual Shot for 2.54 at a local Target today

Holy shit.. the local Target in my area got DECIMATED. There were 3 shelves PACKED to the brim and everything was gone. All 75% off games I was expecting disappeared. There was only one lone copy of Wanted for $12.48 but it had packaging tape all over the broke shrink wrap. Jeez..

However, a pretty good find for me.. found Tomb Raider Underworld for $7.48 at another local Target. Thought the game sold out weeks ago but found a sole copy. I'm real tempted to keep it because I used to be a big fan.. but I've heard pretty bad things about the game. Might just trade it onto Goozex.. but if someone wants to trade for it, CML and let me know.

These Targets were in Irvine/Tustin for those who were interested.

Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce PSP - $9.98

Now new drops. Everything is still at 30% off. I found more copies of WWE: LoW and Henry Hatsworth but they're still at 30% off.

I'll check my favorite stores tomorrow morning since they decided to do their drops on Tuesdays now.

I found Bionic Commando last week for $41.98. I checked it today and it was $14.98, last copy though, also they have Ice Age for $12.48. I passed but may grab later if it's still there.

This particular Target also has at least 20 copies of Force Unleashed for 360 @ 50% off.
