Terminator: TSCC... TERMINATED BY The T-FOX!
Or D...

It followed an exiciting football game and people saw the promos during it.
Or E. They hyped the SHIT out of it. Seriously, how many previews did they have during the football game? I saw a TON.

Is Fox going to rerun the first episode? My fucking piece of fuck DVR didn't record the last 9 minutes.

The show didn't run over, the DVR just decided it was only going to record 51 minutes of it.

fuck you, Scientific Atlanta 8300HD DVR.

Tonight is a brand-new episode, not a repeat of last night. They might show last night's again later.

reality tv is confusing

i give up

Wow...
Huge safe behind the kitten poster. Geez, that was a little too obvious. Granted it was booby trapped, but still.

Terminator must have put on more makeup on the Jeep on the way to Enrique's. Either that or her nose scar magically healed itself.

John's an idiot. If a bunch of killer robots were after me, or could find out about my existence and come after me, I sure as shit wouldn't go to the freakin' mall after my mom told me to stay put.

Weird how Terminator's got all these emotions while at the school, and is suddenly cold and emotionless now.

I'd still love to know what model Cameron is...my money's on a Murphy: human brain, possibly.

Oh, and Sarah throwing her carcass out the window...that was money.

I was surprised she could pick it up and put it on the chair....aren't those things suppose to weigh a ton??!?!?

So...... Comraey (sp?) or whatever survived but was split up?!?!?! I can see the head surviving and traveling forward but the body had to be blown to bits. So now there is a skinless terminator walking around.....ok..............

Personally I would thought the head would have been recovered by some scientist or something and this is what allowed Skynet to be built.

I can chalk that up to Cameron being a leaner, sleeker female model.

You noticed that too, huh?

It's official!!!!!!

Chet the "Terma-Zombie" is my hero.

Seriously though if this show turns into terminator of the week (ala monster of the week) then I doubt it will last more than a season. I have no idea how this series will work in the long run.

However given that it's a science fiction show on Fox it already has one foot in the grave, (not a knock against the show Fox loves to cancel sci-fi shows), and the chick terminator has worked with Joss Whedon, which means Fox will cancel it within 10 episodes (see Drive and Firefly).

Oh, and Sarah throwing her carcass out the window...that was money.

That got a giggle out of me, too.

WTF?!
A terminator walking around with a dead guy's head jammed onto his neck stump? How the hell does it know where to go? It's not like it can see with the dead guy's eyes.

You know so far I like it... The fact that they can take a violent "R" movie series and retool it for Network TV without much loss. Sure we don't get a terminator spiking someone in the eye with their finger..but the violence seen here is no different than any other violent show on tv.

Remember the old Robocop: The Series tv show? That was a real screw up during it's transition to TV don't you think?

I'm a little late to the party but is the black FBI agent a Terminator? I remember eating dinner last night while watching and at one point the FBI agent sits down looking at a computer screen. I look down to get a bite to eat and as soon as I look up at the TV, I see a silhouette with red eyes looking at the computer screen but I wasn't sure if it was the FBI agent. Is he a Terminator?

And yeah, I'm really liking the show. I thought it was okay last night but tonight's episode started to get the ball rolling.
You noticed that too, huh?
Indeed.

For all its flaws, I really like this show quite a bit. So many cues back to the other movies, and at least at a cursory glance works within the established events.

Yea that freaked me out too. I doubt it has built in radar. Homing Device? Maybe.

No... that was the Comradie or whatever it's name is.

You know, some of the Robocop series was quite well done. Small detail, but I was particularly fond of the Commander Cash cartoon blips. I still wish I had bought one of those CC figures when I saw them on clearance for a buck at KB.
No... that was the Comradie or whatever it's name is.
Ha, thanks for clearing that up. Everytime the FBI agent came on the screen, I kept giving him a :whistle2:s wondering if he was a Terminator.

What I don't understand about the Terminator series is, how is John even conceived? Doesn't make sense that the dude in part 1 impregnates Sarah yet he works/fight along? for John in the future.

Future John sent Reese to the past (84?) to protect his mom, he also boinks her, hence, John is born.

Don't even try to get your head around Time Travel...it's like the shortest distance between 2 points is NOT a straight line...'cos it all TOUCHES...

So far I like the series and am interested in seeing where they go with it.

I saw the newest episode. And so far, I actually really like the series. It has a few problems, but overall, it's definitely better than what I expected. The actress who plays Cameron is a very good fit for the role; John's actor is pretty good too. But I'm not sure about Sarah's actress. The character's role is definitely written well; her dialogue suits the character. I'm just not sure if I'm going to like the actress. She's at least fairly good, though.

I'm actually not that worried about this turning into terminator-of-the-week. I think they've got enough stuff to work with as it is. But if this turns into John's High School Drama, I'm out.

And yes, flinging Cameron out the window was gold. Also, the laugh she made when Enrique called her "quiet" was pretty funny as well.

As soon as i saw the terminator's head light up i knew they'd have his headless body walking around. Now how is it that they found the first terminator's body in that press from T1, yet they didn't find that one in the bank?

I'm guessing the time traveling field is like a bomb. Afterall, the bank that they left in 1999 was a freeway in 2007.

It's actually called the Temporal Displacement Field in the books.

I've been thinking about this off and on throughout the years.....

If you travel either forward or backwards through time....wouldn't you have to calculate the exact position the earth is in within the known universe as well, including rotation of the galaxy and the planet down to the precise location? Just because I travel through time at a bank in LA in 1999, doesn't necessarily mean I will arrive at the exact location 8 years later. Take the movies for example. None of the time travelers arrive in the same spot. I may need to illustrate this better when I get a chance...hmm...

I like the fight scenes. It's all robotic.

Plus I like seeing people get run over by speeding cars. Lol. That's twice now in 2 episodes and it's only 15 mins in the 2nd one.

I thougth that was pretty funny too! I guess Future John took the time to tell Cameron about the Wizard of Oz but forgot to tell her to look both ways before she crosses a busy street.

I also appreciated the "REMAIN CALM!" reference from Terminator 3.

Yeah I know that, but how was Future John born in order to send Reese to the past? This is what I hate about time travelling plots. How can the future happen before the past.

Just don't look too hard into it.

I was doing it last night, I found a lot of inconsistencies w/ the show & T2, and with things relating to time travel

If I were a bad-ass terminator and saw a hot-as-hell female terminator (even if after scanning her as "unknown"), my first action would not be "evade".;)

Plus I like seeing people get run over by speeding cars. Lol. That's twice now in 2 episodes and it's only 15 mins in the 2nd one.

Yes, if they don't have at least one terminator get hit by a vehicle in every episode, then I'll be disappointed. I cheer and fist-pump every time it happens.

i enjoyed the first 2 episodes....i was suprised that the writting was decent...nothing great, but a hell of a lot better then what I was expecting.

I started watching, but I'll admit, I did not hold my interest. I went half way and shut the TV off. Maybe I'll give it another shot online (at work.) :)

I don't understand what Sarah's ex-fiance has to do with the story.

Nevermind. I guess this is what:

It is once the Connor/Reeses move to New Mexico that all hell breaks loose: Cute Cute Dean Winters goes to the police about Sarah's disappearance, which alerts Agent Ellison to her whereabouts, which alerts a Terminator to her whereabouts, which starts all the running and gunning.

A writer for EW coined the phrase "Cute Cute", not me.
It stinks!
Man give it a chance. Looks like you can see the previous episodes on fox.com

Haha I'm trying. The Terminator series has a special place in my heart, T2 was the first movie I saw in theaters as a kid. I can never get tired of that movie.
