Naruto
I'm still hoping Kakashi isn't dead, its's too early for him to die, especially since Tsunade needs to die in order for Naruto to become Hokage. Naruto is too dumb without a teacher. And since the frog can't fuse on him why doesn't he just make a bunshin, have it stand there and collect the nature chakra(since he loves using clones.)

If dattebayo really stops subbing Naruto they'll probably die.
You hit it right on the head. That's exactly what he's gonna do.
I noticed that the theme of Naruto seems to be to compartmentalize tasks so he can do something. I don't imagine it deviating from this theme.

Finally started into Noien. It's not really anything like what I was expecting. I was expecting something very cerebral , and even though it kinda is , it's got a fair bit of action too.

Only through the first disk (episodes 1-5) but I'm enjoying it so far.

I'm looking for some new anime to watch. Any recommendations? Some of my favorites were Ah! My Goddess, Bleach, Chobits, Code Geass, Full Metal Alchemist, Full Metal Panic, Kaze no Stigma, Love Hina, My HiME, Yakitate!! Japan, and Yu Yu Hakusho. Anyone got any recommendations based on those?
Since you liked Code Geass, maybe you'll like either Gundam or Death Note. CG was essentially those two combined.
I've heard of Death Note before, and I've been meaning to check it out. Thanks for the reminder!
I've heard of Death Note before, and I've been meaning to check it out. Thanks for the reminder!
you definitely need to check out Death Note, one of the all time best anime's i have ever experienced
what's so amazing about it is that the story basically has no action at all
it's all built on suspense and logic, whoever made that anime needs to make another great story
also the live action movies are really good, and for both they did an excellent job dubbing it to english
most anime's i cant stand being dubbed, but death note they did a great job

Naruto
where the hell is episode 86-87, it's just starting to get good in the anime.
I do think that Tsunade is gonna die and that Danzou will try to become the next Hokage too
Sarutobi was the 3rd and Naruto's dad was the fourth, but what i think happened if i can recall is that the 3rd was too old and resigned
so being about 86 yrs old when he died minus Naruto's age he must've been around 70 when he resigned, Tsunade only around 50 something
what i want to know is why doesn't everyone carry those soldier pills on them? aren't they comparable to senzu beans in DBZ?
Aw damn it I just remembered the next issue is about Konohamaru :whistle2:(

edit: just read the manga, it's looking good for Kakashi? but not so good for Tsunade
I'm pretty sure she's going to sacrafice her life for Konoha
and that Damn Konohamarum he has no chance in hell of beating Naruto for Hokage
i think he one of the worst characters

Nothing that I can remember. I stopped watching for a while around episode 70 or 80 or something, when it became a lot of filler. I've heard that it's gotten better though.

you never know though as of now they havent really shown much about konohamaru but hes older and hes a descendant of the hokage line and that seems to bode well for most meaning that those conected to hokage tend to have alot of skill later. if hes been training all this time he could be powerful.

i have a question about kakashi though really about his eye.
if he died do you think they would remove his sharingan eye and give it to someone else? it is a powerful weapon in and of itself and any number of shinobi in the village could benefit. shikimaru could use it as could naruto. and if he did die id think some ninja from outside would want to take it too.

that aside the manga was ok but the anime was awesome im enjoying the jump in action overall and the look of the anime.

greyzieoriental : About your soldier pill question, you know I could swear at some point or another it was mentioned taking too many of those things wasn't good

lokizz:
I wouldn't be shocked about his eye being taken out, the amount of uchiha eyes in the world has decreased by two and since the remaining people don't seem to be interested in breeding I doubt more will be popping up. Only problem is that eventually his eye would go blind thanks to unlocking the Mangekyo Sharringan so it might be a moot point, thing would only be good for a few more years. I wish they would address what happen to Itachi's eyes, I know Sasuke turned them down ( No sir i'll go blind in a few years thanks!) so what happened to them?

Perhaps very minor Bleach spoilers if someone hasn't seen the first ~40 episodes...

I'm around ep 45 and I already wish the series would end when Rukia's saved... it already has too much of the DBZ problem, where all characters are constantly saying they're stronger by an order of magnitude, then a character has some kind of power-up that makes him several orders of magnitude stronger... it's happened like 20 times in 40 episodes, it's already old, I can't imagine this continuing for another 150+ episodes.

I think the series could've been really, really good if from the beginning they had decided the entire series would be Ichigo meeting a death god, fighting with her, then fighting to save her. Plan it to be a 36-episode series or so. Have Ichigo battle through Soul Society, rescue Rukia, go back to the living world and have them fight hollows happily ever after. Less emphasis on his friends (or at least make them far weaker). It could've been great...

ive been wondering too
where kabuto is in all of this. does he have a part of orochimaru in him now or did he just take on his abilities. and yeah now that itachis dead couldnt his body still be used in some way eyes and all?

and as far as the eye going bad i wonder if there isnt some way to fix that or maybe it going blind might unlock some other power since they said the sharingan came from the byakugan which looks like a blind eye.

i always wanted sauske to hook up with hinata just to see what kind of eye ability their offspring would have.

Hunter nin are supposed to dispose of bodies for that reason. Other nations could gleam secrets from them through dissection. Like what Orochimaru did with the First Hokage's body, sure he killed a bunch of kids but he did get one success which is all it takes. The only way to fix it was to rip out the eyes of a sibling, Itachi had years to figure something out and couldn't regarding the problem. As for Sasuke/Hinata breeding that question has come up before. Basically since the Sharingan came from the Byakugan then the offspring would have the Sharingan , afer all it means the two clans had a common ancestor.

Kabuto is off acting evil and either about to be taken over by what he got out of Orochimaru's corpse or still holding it off. But since Sasuke had his soul i'm not sure how that is going to work out.

i really can't argue with this despite the fact i've watched all of bleach. the soul society arc is really brilliant. there's still entertainment to be found, especially when you skill all the filler. it just depends on if every ep has to be S or A-class for you to enjoy a series.

Naruto Shippuuden 88 really brought to light that the series needs new music badly, the final climatic scene just had music that didn't fit right for it.

As for Naruto 428 , just about jumped the shark here.
Rasengan has been reduced to this?! What next is Sakura going to do one too now? The revelation that all the Pains are dead bodies was interesting , when the big reveal happens I wonder who is behind the strings.

Ehhh,
I can swallow it for the one fact that he comes from the hokage's lineage, but how long did it take for Naruto to pick it up?
I started following the manga again from the point where Kakashi and his back up started fighting, so I wanna know, what has happened to Sasuke so far, and is he expected to pop in anytime soon?

Naruto 428

I kinda like this idea of him controlling dead bodies. I wonder if we'll see Pain using Jiraiya or Itachi's corpses next?

That'd be a burn for Konoha, fighting either one.

Naruto is a training monster so I try not to apply his training speed to other people. I guess if Naruto flat out told him how to do it before leaving it shouldn't be impossible but still, are there no other high end techniques that could have been used outside of that one? If you mean when Kakashi got his butt handed to him by the heart stealing guy then yeah Sasuke becomes the center focus of the manga from pretty much that point for a pretty long time

Jiraiya 's body sunk so he's out, I think Sasuke still has Itachi's body since Mandara did offer him the eyes from it

Yea I guess, but I talking about Kakashi's recent fight where I assume he's dead now. I'm just wondering up til' now, could we expect Sasuke to pop in sometime soon or is he off doing other stuff?

He is off currently plotting the destruction of Konoha for his beloved brother's death. He should be showing up sooner or later over that

The way it looks, there will be no Konoha left for him if he takes his sweet time

After they joined Akatsuki nothing, seriously this is all looking like a setup for a huge one on one showdown later on. Sasuke deciding to just burn Konoha to the ground over Itachi still doesn't make even a small amount of sense. Itachi loved that village enough to get himself killed over it and his genius plan to honor his brother is to burn it to the ground ? Shit is retarded, i'm hoping he stabs Madara in the back

eh i can see why what happened bothered you but you have to think about it in the way they do things
. when someone takes the time to teach you something theyre akcnowledging you or rather your skill. him teaching konohamaru that means in a way that hes accepting him as a brother and a future hokage. it also shows you how much naruto has gorwn up in that he is able to teach others.

it also could be too that maybe he doesnt expect to live much longer and if he up and died who else could teach that move? kind of a way to keep jiraya, the 4th and himself alive in another way. that said i dont think naruto will live to see hokage.

as far as the pains go i thought that technique was some kind of weird puppet skill since i swear one of them broke apart during that kakashi fight.

and it was cool to se naruto new move animated. the manga idnt do it justice but to see it used on someone wow.

Oh they joined Akatsuki? That's how long I've been outta the loop.
After Sasuke decided he wanted to see the place burn they joined the group and went after the 8tails.........who whipped the holy hell out of the lot of them. Thanks to Karin healing him Sasuke wasn't killed and using the techniques he got from Itachi was able to capture the 8 tails vessel. If you're that far out of the loop lets see how this went, Sasuke fought Deideria killing him, then fought Itachi killing him. Was kidnapped by Uchicha Madara who revealed Itachi was never evil and had been ordered to wipe out the Uchiha. After this came to light Sasuke decided to fight against his home village who ordered the hit and was sent after the 8tails. Now he is just waiting in the wings.

yeah theres more techniques but whose going to teach him ? his uncle is dead is greanfather and parents are there and ebisu is kinda worthless and everyone always seems to be busy with other stuff so i guess it had to be naruto although he could have went to the 5th . i dont get why more ninjas dont go to other villages to learn.

if there was a way to learn garaas technique thatd be one id choose.

I never once thought about it from that angle, the amount of people who know the move has decreased lately assuming Sasuke doesn't use it himself. I figured 5 out of the 6 Pains were human puppets but I thought at least the main one was the man himself. The Futon Rasengan was cool to see in the anime , though I shudder to think about future filler with him using it on gutter trash . Hmm so who else would teach Konomaharu a move.......... doesn't Konoha have at least a 100 ninja ? Hell bring Anko back for 5 minutes.

yeah they do but when do they ever show them. i think this will build to naurto becoming his teacher seems only fitting since theyre both hokage descendants and theyre both orphans. maybe konohamaru will come up with a fire nature rasengan but then again his uncle was wind natured so who knows. i wonder though who else naruto will learn from.

Naruto could learn from anyone, seriously he knows next to no jutsu. Sakura falls into this boat also, they learned one move and spammed the hell out of it. Considering who their first teacher was that is just amazing, Kakashi must be the worst teacher of all time. That is why I don't see Naruto becoming a teacher anytime soon, while it was just proven his methods work he himself doesn't know squat outside some high class stuff. But those little techniques people always use to save their ass he never does.

yeah kakashi is a pretty bad teacher although it could be he choses to give them only so much and leaves the rest for them to figure out but since hes been called tha man of 1000 jutsu youd think hed be willing to give up maybe 20 or 30 of them lol. but i think most of those are tied to his sharingan. make you wonder how the 4th was as a teacher.

That is probably part of it , he can do a technique but can't teach it to others. So far out of the 3 students we know the 4th had only one is still alive and then again he might be dead now....... so pretty sucky. I guess super ninja doesn't equal awesome teacher .

They should teach Naruto all those forbidden jutsu that came from the forbidden scroll in the first episode/volume of Naruto. I also like to think of Naruto as a sort of genius in his own way, just not the cool angsty genius that Sasuke and Neji are. I mean, he can copy moves using his own methods, mostly through use of Kage Bunshin. Examples being the Lion Combo and the Sharingan. And he learned Kage Bunshin no Jutsu by just reading the scroll. Either he's got some uber learning potential, or those jutsu were ridiculously easy. I dunno, I'd just like to see more from Naruto, especially since this series is named after him. I think his whole Hermit training he inherited from Jiraiya is kinda lame, definitely "uncool".

I never got that really, Naruto learned a forbidden jutsu in a few hours by just reading a book yet everybody still wrote him off as a moron.. Kakashi really didn't even think much of him until years down the line. The one move I thought would be a perfect fit were the exploding clones Itachi could do so even if he failed to have the clones hit someone they still would blow up in their face. I would also like to see Naruto do a bit more, it never really was all the clear what Jiraiya taught him in the 2 1/2 years they were gone. Sakura got massive strength and a backbone , Sasuke got tons of drugs and new moves....... Naruto got nothing but a few new maneuvers with clones?

What ever happened to that one jutsu Kakashi had where he could send things to another dimension? That has gotta be one of the most broken jutsus ever, even if it's sharingan specific.

Gundam 00 Season 2 episode 11 thoughts
Good God is Celestial Being catching a lot of butt whoppins , that suit the innovator was using appears to clearly be above a gundam in specs. Finally a trippy newtype scene, I just about expected Setsuna to see God . Now that I think about it I wonder if they saved the 0 Gundam before that base exploded
