Good god, man, you're acting like a fifteen year old that's drunk on buttershots! Pull yourself together!

Have we ever seen this side of Sweeney before? Methinks not. It's definitely an interesting one, though. ;)
Euphemisms are fun!!
Even the resident mad scientist gets to act like a fifteen year old boy once in a while. :D

I don't think I've ever seen Sweeney like this before...
Good summary, I was about to say fuck it and not read any of it.
My WSB sense was tingling, feeling a disturbance in the OTT Force.

So, I thought to summarize it in prep for DarthBanky's arrival. :D
My God! Sweeney has stolen my spot and soiled the OTT!
He's used up our alltoment of dirty words for the next ten years' OTT's!

Always two there are.... a master and an apprentice.
But which is which. Hrmmm.

That's easy enough. Just send one into politics.

But if that's all it takes, Dick Cheney could very well be a Sith.

Perhaps he might be.

(23:50:18) IMDWalrus05: we're moving away from wednesday
(23:50:25) Jessica: moving toward
(23:50:53) IMDWalrus05: nope
(23:50:57) IMDWalrus05: we can't do both at the same time
(23:51:02) IMDWalrus05: or else time would be circular
(23:51:07) IMDWalrus05: and that would cause all kinds of nasty problems
(23:51:11) IMDWalrus05: there's a reason clocks are cones, jessica
(23:51:27) Jessica: hahahahahahaha
(23:51:53) IMDWalrus05: ooh
(23:51:56) IMDWalrus05: someone should make a pointy clock
(23:52:04) IMDWalrus05: and i'm not talking sundial
(23:52:47) IMDWalrus05: but which part would be pointy?

When I start saying things like that, I really, REALLY need to get some sleep.

They've covered that?

I haven't watched the show at all, or any of the new Family Guy episodes. Just haven't had the time, and I know they'll all repeat on Cartoon Network soon enough anyway.

I got no idea what's going on. I've been retagging a bunch of newly aquired songs from:

David Bowie
Slayer
Pantera
The Clash
Alkaline Trio
Twisted Sister
Opeth
Phish
The Decemberists

To say I have a varied taste in music is an understatement.
Wow. How oddly topical.
South Park has the episode with "Sexual Harassment Panda".
Just remember - you're the one posting all of the euphemisms.

Sexual Harassment Sweeney? ;)
We dont take kindly to people who dont take kindly round here
Well, I don't know about them, but I DO take kindly to beautiful women round here.
Unfortunatly, there is a decided lack of those round these parts :)

A rather underrated movie. I actually like it. It's a lot better than the first.
Just watched the new Rescue Me. Apparently, you can say the dreaded T-word on FX. I did not know that.
There's a T-word? :? :whistle2:k ...

Well I'm off to bed. It's better if I'm well rested for the last day of the DDD sale. I wouldn't want to make any injudicious decisions.

Was trying to keep it tasteful here.. but yeah. One of the guys called the female firefigher one in the previews. I mean, I know tits and dick and cock are okay, but I didn't think that one'd ever make it past the censors, even for FX.

Any good shows on FX? I've had that channel for a while when Comcast added a shitload of channels (Finally got ESPN 2 and Comedy Central:lol:). But I don't really watch it. I usually just skip over it because its like in the middle of like a stretch of shitty channels.

Ah, well it depends on your taste. The Shield is on FX and it's the best show on television right now. The 4th season just ended a couple weeks ago, but you can watch the first 3 on DVD and then download season 4 or wait for the DVD to get caught up with season 5. I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to jump right in when season 5 hits next year, but it's the most visceral show on TV, among things, so it'd be a shame not to see it all. 30 Days is brand spanking new, and I think it's great. By Morgan Spurlock, the guy behind Super Size Me, he puts people through 30 days in someone else's shoes. The first episode, he and his girlfriend lived on minimum wage for a month, second episode, he had a guy start shooting steroids and growth hormones and working out outta nowhere..the results weren't too great, as you'd imagine. :p It's a great show though.

Rescue Me just started its second season, and it's a very good show as well. Shouldn't be too hard to jump right into, as there's a lot of new elements this season anyway. Nip/Tuck is starting back up in September, so you may want to check that out. Season 1 was good, but I just thought season 2 was dreadful- pretty much everyone slept with everyone, and I couldn't see any justification aside from pushing the envelope with sex on TV, but that's just me. But, ymmv on the shows. Also, they show decent movies quite a bit, if you'd rather watch 'em that way.

Edit: Also, two new shows just started, or will be starting soon, that I haven't paid much attention to. The Inside, which looks like another one of those dark, psychological thrillers with some kind of psychic twist, and Over There which is a drama (I believe) that's about US soldiers serving in Iraq. They're pimping it out quite a bit, but it just seems to me like a chance to strike while the iron's hot, personally.

I liked The Shield and Rescue Me when I had FX, that was it. But the Shield is definately the best show on cable TV. So good...

We have grown past floppy disks, so thumb drives are essential for data transferring to school and between computers and such. If you don't understand this kind of stuff, there's no need to make fun of those who do understand it and use it to their advantage.
