I've got so much taste I don't know what to do with it. ;)
So that's why you don't use it, then... which means you basically don't have taste!

I got my copy of Lost in Translation back today, along with the $72 that friend owed me. I left the other 20 or so DVDs over there though, I didn't really care about them anyway. Actually, I didn't care about the cash either.
I decided to put Arrested Development on the top of my Netflix thing today.

I should be getting it soon.
Good man.
Says the man promoting Reno 911 ;)
What are you trying to say?

The truth is that Saucy Jack doesn't even like Reno 911! He is paid by Comedy Central.
I decided to put Arrested Development on the top of my Netflix thing today.

I think you'll like it. It's pretty good.

Stick the first 2 seasons of Reno 911! on top of that, though. And maybe Wet Hot American Summer while you are at it.

Well, studying is a bitch. Particularly in something you don't care about but for god knows why is required.

Can somebody explain this?!
Looks like the truth to me. ;)
fuck you. ;)

If I was being paid by a big company like Comedy Central, do you think I would be such a loser? I wouldn't be bitching about being poor, and I'd probably be in better health with that money...

You're just mad that Reno 911! owns AD. Yep, I said it...
I take it that this is a joke because of the last line of the tralier.
I see enough Reno on TV...but when I see Arrested Development, it makes no sense. So I guess if I see it in order it might make sense.

I was gonna actually buy the Reno sets, but I don't have enough money. I'm trying to stick to three TV-on-DVD series, three manga series, and only games and DVDs that are on sale.

Save up for the Deep Discount sale, I guess... :)

It's Comedy Central, they don't really have that much to give. Didn't Chappelle pretty much clean them out?

Yeah, AD is full of callbacks. It'd be pretty hard to just jump in anywhere. Still funny, but you'd be missing out on half of it.

I think that's eventually going to be their downfall. They just can't get new viewers in cause all their stuff is from earlier seasons. They need some way to have new viewers get caught up, or have newer jokes that don't rely on old material.

Thanks...? :)

Yeah, I'm doing that. I'm hoping I can nab at the least Season 2 of The Flintstones. After getting Seaosn 1 for $15 on sale at Amazon, 35-40 seems steep.

That's really the onle TV set I can buy online. I collect Simpsons, but I usually buy them on release...

And the Twilight Zone sets I collect (The collections, not the seasons) are about 90 dollars online, but forty dollars B&M. Go figure. =\

On a related note, I found the new Twilight Zone series ('03, I think) for 15 dollars at Wal Mart. 43 episodes! =D

But now I'm rambling.

I always thought their downfall would be airing on FOX, but somehow it's still around despite all the awards and critical praise.

And I hate to say it, but so far season 3 hasn't lived up to the others if you ask me. We'll see how it goes.

Well yeah but I mean that's just a given. I'm still sore about Undeclared getting canceled, it was definetly one of my all time favorite sitcoms for the little bit of time it was one. I'm gonna be SUPER PISSED if they end up canceling Kitchen Confidential.

Hey, Simpsons is still alive and kicking, isn't it? Although it is rather mediocre compared to their previous seasons...

Hell, it started fucking up at season 10.
Um, cut it out?
YEah, I'm done. This is my last Gasp anyway Because I'm trying to buy a house. And once that goes down I won't have much free cash left. I'm going to put in a bid with a four grand check tomorrow. Hopefully things will work out but it's a tought housing market for buyers.

Now that I think about it though this month has been kind of high for me too:

Virtua Tennis
X-Men Legends 2
GTA: LCS
Castlevania DoS
MLB 2k5 (world series fever and the new $14.99 price at Target made me do it)
Scrapland

Granted, some of this was bought using trade in credit but I've probably spent over $100 now. Then again I barely bought any games over summer so I guess it kind of balances out.

Edit- Then again, I have spent a lot on TV DVDs too, stupid WB sale...

While on the topic of houses, and stuff....

Land prices have fucking skyrocketed down here.

A regular lot, cramped between two houses, NOT on city water (well/septic), not on a canal, 100,000 dollars. Yes, it sold. It's insane, the land prices down here.

You mean all 4 episodes of season 3 that we've seen. As far as new viewers go, I missed all of season 1 and still found season 2 to be good, so it's not impossible.

I've bought a massive amount....of nothing this month. I think all I've bought is Cowboy Bebop Remix Volume 1 and Soul Calibur 3.

This month alone:

$60 in Dreamcast games at EB
$40 at Best Buy for Donkey Konga and Jungle Beat (I had no idea they were only $10 at KB  )
$35 at Target for Nightmare Troubadour

Not as much as you guys but still alot for me.

While I was over at my friend's house he put up a bar across his doorway to do chin ups and pull ups. That wouldn't be very useful to me, even on my knees I can reach within an inch of the top of the door frame.

I just went in with my dad and uncle (at a low %) on a lot in a nice court in a suburb; it was like $230,000 CDN. We expect that once we build on it, it'll be a very nice profit.

In short, don't complain!
Those words say that you're a fraud. ;)
I'm really a super-rich, handsome devil who loves to hang out on CAG.

Chappelle gave back the money. And besides, it's Viacom. They have some really deep pockets.

This month?

$15- Twilight Zone Season 1 (2003)
$15- Naked Gun, Naked Gun 3, Airplane 2
$15- Spiderman 2 (DVD)
$30- Trauma Center
$30- Lost In Blue
$35- Castlevania DoS
$30- Spyro Shadow Legacy

And I think these were this month....:

$18- Ratchet and Clank Up Your Arsenal Used
$20- Katamari Damacy

Big month for me. At least there's not much next month in terms of DS games- Just Mario Partners in Time, and I think Mario Kart. And I pick try to find Phoenix Wright used.

At least 3 of those games were with gift cards, though.

(Jedi mind trick mode on)

You do not need The Flintstones...

You do not need The Simpsons...

You only need Reno 911! Seasons 1 & 2... and 3 when it eventually comes out...

Also, you should watch Stella... it's from The State, so it's good, like Reno 911!

(Jedi mind trick mode off)

Plus, I'm still waiting on that cookie, dude!

I may be able to do without Flintstones, but back the fuck off of The Simpsons.

I have spent exactly nothing on games this month.

i don't care what anyone says, merlot isn't half bad after the first cup :)

edit: haven't spent much on games this month (all things considered.) DoS, Trauma Center, Shadow of the Colossus, about $30 on cag for various snes and nes games, about $20 at the pawnshop on a bunch of nes and dc games. probably the slowest month all year for me, since i'm saving for my 360. I might breakdown and get gunstar super heros and metroid pinball.
You don't really like CAG?
Of course I like CAG! Without me, you'd just have Subbie to pick on... and that isn't fun for very long.

Don't worry. I have nothing against The Simpsons. In fact, I used to collect them until my money got even tighter. So I sold them. I might pick them up in the future when more are already released and the prices drop.

Lulu took the Famous Amos cookies?! She must have known that I wanted them... she's crafty like that...

(as Dylan on Chappelle's Show)

Sugar cookie? Man, I did not come onto CAG to get a sugar cookie!

$43 bucks for 6 copies of Dead to Rights 2 which has lead to:
DDR Mario Mix
Castlevania DS
Mario Kart Ds (pre-order)
Metroid Prime Pinball (i like the sound the rumble pack makes :) )
and i have 2 copies of DTR2 left.
