Yes, yet another indie bundle, but like the Humble Bundle, you can set your own price and donate to charity as well. The games only register on Steam, but that won't be a problem for most here. You get a key for each individual game, so you can gift whatever you do not personally want if you feel like it.

Happy Hour guidelines:

*Happy Hour happens at random times: sometimes as early as 4 days after the bundle going live, but most often during the second week of sales.

Happy Hour! Double Gifts! During Happy Hour time New buyers for every gift purchase get a 2nd bonus gift for free (2x1)! All gifts are doubled! Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT'! *If you have not purchased the current Indie Gala yet, you can buy two for one during happy hour

And if you are an early buyer the deal is EVEN BIGGER!

Yes! If you already bought the current indiegala bundle, you get 2 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 3 x 1 ) *If you have already purchased the bundle, but you did not purchase it in the first week, you can buy three for one

And if you bought it in the first week you get 3 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 4 x 1 ) *If you already purchased the current bundle and did so in the first week of the current bundle going live, you can buy four for one

Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT' ! if you want to take advantage of Happy Hour. You have to check this also if, after purchasing a bundle for yourself with your own email address, you want another additional bundle for you. If you don't, transactions amount will sum on your original email account and you can upgrade your purchase, obtaining more bonuses if you previously didn't unlock it, or more galapoints.

REMEMBER: (Gift purchases are not upgradable and don't contribute to upgrade your personal account for unlock new content.)
***For Happy Hour, you MUST use the same e-mail you used when buying your first bundle, and you MUST check the gift option below the payment method. You have to buy again during Happy Hour to receive gift copies.

CAG Group Buy Hosting FAQ

Q: I see all of these CAGs hosting group buys for people. What's that all about?
A: It's a way for CAGs to help each other get the best deal. One person will buy the bundle during the first week, then they will buy four gift copies at the highest tier during Happy Hour. This person is referred to as the host. They then try to sell these to participants for a fraction of the price of buying the "beat the average" bundle individually, plus some extra to distribute the cost of the initial bundle purchase in the first week. The host gains money back, and the participants get the full bundle for a fourth of the cost. Everyone wins.

Q: How do I host one?
A: To host a CAG group buy, you must first purchase the Indie Gala full BTA (beat the average) bundle in the first week (this has been changed since the previous bundles). This will allow you to purchase four additional bundles for the price of one during a Happy Hour, as stated in the Happy Hour post above. Now, it does matter how much you initially spend, as you must purchase the full bundle in order to purchase full bundle four-packs during Happy Hour. Then, once Happy Hour starts, you buy a gift copy for the current "beat the average" price, which will be listed on the Indie Gala page. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK "IS IT A GIFT" TO GET FOUR GIFT COPIES.

Q: It's asking me for multiple e-mail addresses. What do I do?
A: Just skip that part. The links to the gifts will be added to your account page (which is another reason why you must always use the same e-mail address when ordering from Indie Gala). Most hosts will send out the gift URLs to their participants in a PM.

Q: Is it hard to do?
A: No, it's very quick and easy. Just keep track of which gift URLs you have sent to which people, and you will be fine.

never know. humble indie bundle did that with The Binding of Isaac.

Indie Gala and every one of its' games were European in origin. I'd wager on more games from that region over something like Dustforce.

Looks like they might be getting in gear a bit sooner than I guessed. They just tweeted it's coming for sure this week.
They've been teasing it a while. They like to draw things out. It'll probably debut after Half Life episode 3.
LOL you weren't kidding.

Apparently this is going live in 8 GMT so 4 1/2 hrs from now.

I've read on another forum the following is rumored to be the games in the pack (based supposedly on a youtube video the Indie Gala inadvertently put up too early then quickly yanked).

Pay up to $3.99 - Get Bunch of Heroes, Fortix 2 & Critical Mass.

Pay more than $3.99 you also get Roboblitz and Greed Corp.

Pay more than $6.99 and you get the first bundle contents too.

Take it with a grain of salt for now though we will find out soon enough.

Sounds OK-ish. If true, I might pay extra to snag a copy of the first for a friend.

Meh. Friend gifted me Bunch of Heroes (it's pretty crap), already own Greed Corp, have everything I want from the first bundle... so only Fortix 2 and Critical Mass are sort of appealing. I'll probably lowball it.

Thanks for passing the rumor along, Motoki. assuming that this is true, I'm gonna go in for $4 to get Roboblitz & Greed corp. I'm also excited about picking up Fortix 2. I rather enjoyed the first Fortix, and while I'm sure that the game play is likely to just be more of the same, that's not a bad thing for me.

As for the other two games, Critical Mass might be alright, but I can tell just by looking at the steam store page that I'm gonna suck at that game. I'll probably play it for 5 minutes and then never play it again. As for Bunch of Heroes, I've not heard a single person say that it was anything other than complete crap. Mooby is just the latest to say so. If these games come with individual keys, I probably wont even activate Bunch of Heroes on my account.

I will say that if they do what they did last time with adding some music to it, that sweetens the deal. The albums they added last time are pretty good and pretty much worth the price of the bundle alone.

Greed Corp is a decent albeit a bit simplistic turn based strategy game. But yeah, Bunch of Heroes... even putting the bugs aside it just plays clunky and awkward (especially the weapons which is 90% of the game) and there are much better choices in the isometric shooter genre.

Now they're saying on Twitter that you will earn "Galapoints" for doing various things like buying early, gifting, etc. They won't say what you can do with them yet.

Bunch of Heroes was one of the achievement games on the Steam winter sale. I noticed they tend to re-use the event games from their last sale on their semi-annual sale event games.

If nothing else it might be good for a ticket during the summer sale. Trying to find a silver lining here.

Does the bundle start in 30 mins or an hour and 30 mins. I don't want to stay up more than 45 mins, but I will stay up if the bundle goes live in 30 mins.

They also could have meant 8 PM but... yeah I'm hoping it's 8 AM GMT and they're at least within an hour or so of being right on their estimation.
Supposedly half an hour, but since it's Indiegala I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being Tuesday.
lol yeah, no kidding. The key word on their page announcing the start time is "Expected".
They also could have meant 8 PM but...
Yeah, this has also occurred to me. It probably is 8AM, but who can say for sure?

I'm going to assume they mean GMT to be "General Martian Time" and completely unrelated to anything we would understand to be a standard basis for time.
It's live.

edit: Aw, I was only the second purchaser, was hoping to be #1.
Quick, check and see if they give you individual keys for each game. If so, I'm buying. If not, I'm passing.

I know it's silly, but I really don't want bunch of heroes on my account.

Yeah, individual keys.

Same here. Probably shouldn't have splurged $4 since I already own Greed Corp and Fortix 2 and don't really care about Critical Mass and Bunch of Heroes. I'm a fool, A DAMN FOOL!

Any way I could have your Fortix and Greed Corp keys?

Fortix 2, Robo Blitz and Greedcorp look kinda cool, but other than that, I'm not really impressed by this bundle, I think I'll save my money in case another better indie bundle pops up in the meantime.

You can sell, trade or just plain give away those keys. So if you're suddenly feeling buyers remorse, you might be able recoup some of your losses.
