Try to get the music onto the porn.

You have porn on your iPod? What are you, 12? Stream that shit at home, yo.
Lol, I'll get into it eventually. I stopped playing Minecraft after like 15 minutes and then went back and got super addicted. My short-sighted gripes after ten minutes of gameplay:

Less potential for cool building projects since it is 2D. Hard to avoid enemies at night because it's like a 2D platformer and has random huge holes which kill you if you fall since they're such huge drops.

I died like 5 times. -____-;
First thing's first, build a house so the guide will move in and you can lock the doors at night to have a haven from the zombies and eyeballs. The holes thing is a bit different, but best advice there is to make your own tunnel entrance (maybe out of the bottom of your house) to underground and dig from there. You'll get stone and clay you can use for building and you will hopefully find resources to start building better equipment.

Also, build a wooden hammer asap.

I built a home but my guide wouldn't get it. I think it's because I built my home up on a plateau thing. I might restart my world and build my home right where I spawn. I had built a hammer... I can't quite figure out the way the background wood/dirt/whatever works. It seemed very finicky to tear it down.

Portland's a serious beer town. We're doing the Widmer Brothers tour & tasting today, but there's about a dozen or so smaller breweries around town. Rogue's got a tour somewhere near here - almost every bar in the area carries Dead Guy. Tonight they're showing "Top Gun" in the city square with a sponsored beer tasting included.

I've already driven to Astoria to go see the Goonies house.

Yeah, taking down the background of wood tiles is why i made a new world (I wanted to upgrade to stone). They're basically overlapping squares, it can be hard to figure out where 1 ends and the next begins.

To get the guide to move in, you need to be at least like 4 high x 5 wide, I think, with a torch on the walls for a light source, and a table/chair.

Mak, send me some of those painkillers you're high on. Then maybe I'd have enjoyed Enslaved. I can't think of a redeeming quality for that game at the moment, other than it was unbelievably short, so I didn't have to play it for too long to be able to say I played through it and it was average at its best.
Didn't you love Heavenly Sword?

Jus found out my local skating rink is closing. So many childhood memories.

Serious question: are there any skating rinks that are still open? I can't imagine they are too popular nowadays.

We have an ice skating rink here. Used to be a roller skating rink too, and laser tag, but both of those portions closed up I believe.

I think we have a roller skating rink somewhere, but nothing for roller blading (other than skate parks I guess).

We still have one open in my county but we're like Romania. We're two decades behind the rest of the United States. You can probably still find people with hyper color shirts and pump sneakers around where I live.
If any of you guys (or Chika) want to get fat for cheap, visit Portland. Between the billion food carts, microbrewery tours, and the bread pudding french toast at the hotel, this city eats like KINGS.
It's not really that cheap. And it's impossible to do with kids.
There's a great food culture in Portland but it's just so pretenious.

Your cheese sandwhich is now an Organic Piece of Tilamook Chese from a locally owned free trade dairy on a piece of gluten free bread with a slice of Organic farm fresh lettuce. All information about each ingredent and it's source is avaliable upon request.
It wasn't pubes at all! Just the one. That movie is actually something I could be into, so thanks!
Glad to hear it, buddy. :)

I'll leave you feedback...just...not right now.

Picked up the new Wilco 7" that came out this week and it sounds really good.

That is something I really need to do.

Will be driving through Astoria next week. Probably won't be making a stop at the house though. Hell it's probably been at least 10 years since I've seen the movie in reruns on cable so I wouldnt even recognize it if we drove by.
Don't see two little kids being intersted in a stop so daddy can partake in some 25 year nostalgia trip. (I'm guessing it's been about 25 years since the movie came out.)

How could you pass up doing the truffle shuffle in front of the house?

A buddy of mine is bringing over a smoker tomorrow and we've got some ribs, a pork tenderloin, corn-on-da-cob, and a big ol' brisket to smoke. Cannot fucking waaaaait.
You have porn on your iPod? What are you, 12? Stream that shit at home, yo.

Isnt the one where the Sharks practice still open? I believe its on Senter rd near downtown SJ.
Didn't you love Heavenly Sword?
No, I didn't. I wanted to, but looking back on it, it was a PS3-exclusive God of War clone that stemmed the tide until God of War 3 showed up. The story was decently told, the combat had a few interesting ideas, but ultimately it fell flat, which is why I got rid of it as well. It was probably better than Enslaved in my eyes, but still not a good game... there are tons better in the genre. If I posted to say I loved it, I was probably delusional from lack of a proper current-gen 3D action game which was remedied by DMC4, NG2, Bayonetta, etc. Ultimately, NT games somehow keep getting worse; hopefully DmC will end up closing NT down and Capcom will lose a shit ton of money on the project. (I can dream...)

Goonies house was cool - the guy who owns it now bought it a few years ago from foreclosure. He's got a sign and welcomes visitors to take pics. Also went to the Clatsop Jail to check out all of the memorabilia and the Jeep from the film - same place they filmed the opening.
You have porn on your iPod? What are you, 12? Stream that shit at home, yo.
You have to have porn on the ipod to show to your hispanic coworkers. Jim will back me up on this.

I have no Hispanic coworkers, so I have no reason to put porn on my phone.

And Patron silver, which I assume you are drinking, sucks. Marten can back me up on this...if he's not dead.

Marten loves Patron. $$$$a used to flash the bottle during Uno.

He had patron anejo. Shit is way different than silver. Patron in general is overpriced due to its rock star status. There are way better tequilas that are better bang for your buck.

I wasn't buying it so I could care less about the price. I just know it got me good and fucked up.

Also mother fucker you spent 2000 on a bike. Who the fuck are you to talk about getting bang for your buck?
 touché.
I can't fault you since I don't make music type money yet. I am hoping to catch on with a full time position with the company I work for and then I would be making music type money plus getting to travel the country. I can't wait to just have one fucking job. That way I would have time to study for the LSAT in December.

Portland is showing Top Gun in the city square on a giant inflatable screen tonight. Time to get good and liquored up and enter the danger zone!

Sounds good. We had some Texas-style 'cue last night. 16 hour ribs, 4 hour Kosher hotdogs. Brisket. Yum. One of the local breweries has a pitmaster Thursday-Sunday. Whoever came up with that idea was brilliant.
Need some mac n cheese and biscuits.
DIAF I can't eat that, either.

It's pretty good tequila, just a little overpriced. Tequila is my friend.

This is true, but it's still decent tequila. I like Cazadores and Centenario and Don Julio and on occasion Corazon. Then again, I'll also drink Oso Negro if there's nothing else to drink, so I really can't talk. I spent WAYYY too long in Zihuatanejo.

It's like 10 degrees warmer at work since our central air isn't strong enough to keep the office at a reasonable temp during the day. Granted, coming in from outside it still feels cool in comparison.

Camped out in the Portland Square drinking $2 beers to benefit the Children's Cancer Association waiting for Top Gun to start. It's an odd mix of hipsters and homeless people, though it's rather difficult to tell the difference.

Took a break from FNV to learn Noob Saibot on MK.

Ant today I watched Horrible Bosses for a second time.. Because my friend whom I haven't seen for 2 years visited and wanted to see that. Couldve seen Capn America afterwards to be honest, but it was a 3D showing and we had no glasses so w.e
