It really, really does, the art direction in particular is so ____ing stupid. I would rather straight up pay the $2/song for a RB download than play it even for free.

I agree. The format is awful too. I hate that I unlock shit when I play be myself. Now my wife wants to sing, so I have to sit there and unlock everything again? Totally weak. It's the little things that frustrate the hell out of me with the GH:WT. I do like the guitar charts, though some pussies claim that it's too hard.

I do want the new guitar, though, so I'm going to order the bundle from YF360G.com in January. That is, unless a bigger Hard drive comes up on the site first.
Interface in multiplayer ad art aside, GH:WT is good and better than GH3
That isn't really that great of an accomplishment.

1994 "About a Girl" (Unplugged) Nirvana
2006 "Assassin" Muse
1982 "Beat It" Michael Jackson
2005 "L'Via L'Viaquez" Mars Volta The Mars Volta
1967 "Love Me Two Times" The Doors
1987 "No Sleep Till Brooklyn" Beastie Boys
2002 "Obstacle 1" Interpol
2000 "One Armed Scissor" At the Drive-In
1987 "One I Love" R.E.M.
2002 "Parabola" Tool
2007b "Pretty Vacant" Sex Pistols
1996 "Santeria" Sublime
2001 "Schism" Tool
1995 "Some Might Say" Oasis
1995 "Spiderwebs" No Doubt
1970 "Up Around the Bend" Creedence Clearwater Revival
2006 "Vicarious" Tool
2007 "Weapon of Choice" Black Rebel Motorcycle Club

I would download those if they were available in Rock Band.

And as I was playing GH:WT last night, I literally thought to myself, "Well, at least they got rid of those awful guitar battles." Then, out of nowhere, steps Zakk Wylde . . .

IMO, the only crappy thing about GH:WT is having to play an entire set of crap you don't like just to progress. :whistle2:|

Interpol, Jimmy Eat World, Dinosaur Jr. and Lenny Kravitz come to mind.

The only reason why GH:WT is better is that they took out the gay shit out of GH3. I would make the argument that the band stuff is a huge step back for them.

The fact is that Guitar Hero has just been totally eclipsed by Rock Band, and GH is surviving on name recognition.

Does anybody know where I can get a good deal on a Linksys WRT54G/GL? I really need something to replace this crappy Belkin router I have right now.

As far as interface and DLC options yes. However, GH:WTs base set list and notecharts hold up pretty damn well to RB2s. I still give RB2 the nod, but not by a huge amount.

I agree with what you say about the notecharts and set list, but EVERYTHING else is better on Rock Band. That, in actuality, is a pretty big nod to RB. RB can fix those two problems with DLC. GH can't fix it's problems in relation to RB.

Yea I agree with that. And as a party game Rock Band wins hands down. But if I'm playing by myself I'm glad I have 2 solid guitar options.

I'm pretty scared of catching The Gay, wahoo. I figure if I want to stay straight, I might as well stay away from everything that could give me The Gay. >:[

Here is what I dont get about RB or GH.

Ask me to balance a soccer ball on my head, then juggle with my feat the strike it from over 40 yard away so that it perfectly dips underneath the cross bar, I can do that.

Ask me to run a perfect route splitting a double team stop, locate a already thrown football for a sideline grab while keeping my body in bounds...I can do that.

Hell I can even come up with the coordination to crossover the Point Guard, split the help side defense and find a way to make this circuses shot fall.

But ask me to move my right foot and left arm in a steady rhythmic pattern and I fucking fall apart at the seams. I cant play drums on anything higher than med, my brain can not process moving my limbs in a pattern.

I got fast twitch muscle fiber coming out the ass can and cant pass The Middle on hard.
They both lose with Linkin Park and Jimmy Eat World on their set lists.
Munch...PS3 should be in my hands this Wednesday.

Its just eye-hand coordination.

I know some dude who kicks some major ass at the game and hes almost 400 pounds. Dude probably doesn't even know what exercise is.

noice! You're going to not send it slow, right. . . ?

I'm sending in about 19 DVDs to DVDPlanet that, assuming they accept the, should get me about $120 worth of credit. I hope it comes in before the 20% off sale!

Slow? I have to check with USPS and UPS to see what's the cheapest quickest method.

DVD Planet buys DVD's?

EDIT: Damn, they have great TIV...wonder If I can do that at their B&M here.

Money choices right there. Are those in Guitar Hero: WT?

Well I guess I'll be holding on to $59.99 ... the extra PS3 Bioshock content is gonna be in a dlc pack for $9.99. I thought it was going to be included in the actual game itself.

I think the extra content IS on the PS3 version disc. However, 360 users can buy it. However, I could be completely wrong.

I saw on Slickdeals that there is a place in Dallas offering one free session of Tatoo removal if you come in with your "I Voted" sticker.
Will they remove the tattoed phrase "I didn't vote" from my arm?
With one session maybe they can take off the "n't"
