Is FTL good? Was intrigued earlier but if it wins the vote at $2.50 I may have to get it regardless ...

Forgive the second question, I'm a bit of a Steam noob, but is KOTOR2 at $3.39 good or is there a chance it could get cheaper? (I know, I'm probably asking for too much here ...)

Ohhh. Vote Recettear, please. The whole Carpe Fulgur collection is on my buy-on-the-last-day-in-case-it-goes-lower-first list.
Done. I hope it wins because there's not anything on the Flash Sale for me either.

FTL is a well-regarded space rogue-like.

That's a good price for KOTOR2, but it was $2.49 in January. You should use the Enhanced Steam plugin for your web browser... it helps tremendously.

Thanks again. Not sure how I missed the Master Trade List forum at the top. :D

KOTOR 2 has been $2.49 on Steam before so it might hit that price point again if you can wait for the winter sale.

FTL can be fun but few times i wanted punch the screen, because the /random put me into fights i could not win. keep playing you unlock different ships with different gameplay types, which is fun.

as for KOTOR2 it 66% now so sure it could be 75% off if you want wait $3.50 not bad price. their also mod overhaul which restore cut content, adds too the game

Grabbed Just cause for .27 cents, just cause. Also voted Reccatear since I saw some people requesting it. Also I hate that FFVII went on flash sale. Now it has me paranoid about getting Rogue legacy before the last minute. Was just about to break down and buy it too.

Hmmm decisions...I am going to buy one more game with my card money and the only two good options left are FF7 and Rogue Legacy. I like both genres and have never played either. I guess what I need to figure is which I'll get more enjoyment out of and what is more likely to go on sale sooner. Although I will be playing either one within the next couple weeks, so upcoming sale doesn't matter as much.

Anyone want to weigh in?

FFVII is good (though not the perfect master piece some might claim it to be) though check out some screen shots and videos. To make sure the graphics won't affect you being able to enjoy the game. As for Rogue legacy I don't have it yet but it is my number one want from the sale. Looks great.

FF7 will probably be on sale less than Rogue Legacy, but Rogue Legacy is a fresher game, also built for the platform.

The PC version of FF7 has some jankiness to it. The 2D pre-rendered backgrounds were created for display on a 320x256 screen. Nowadays we're playing on 1920x1080 displays and that causes some problems.

The characters, simple as they are, will be nice and sharp and clean looking, but the backgrounds are a huge mess.

FFS, Payday at 75% again and DLC is still at 50%. I HATE YOU! I HATE YOUR GUTS!! I WISH YOU WERE DEAD!!!  :bomb:

Whoa, flashback. Sorry about that.

Agreed on FFVIII - it's a great game but it definately had flaws then and I'm not sure how well it aged. But it's certainly worth playing if you got the cash and never have played!

Judging by your avatar I would say FF7 is a must buy... like religious experience territory.

Not too picky with graphics on older games. Thanks for the opinions, I think I'll jump on it. Maybe if more cards come up I'll get Rogue Legacy as well.

Just wait for the remake. Just kidding. Or am I? Nah, I'm kidding? Am I? Maybe...I'm not sure. Out this year! Never mind. It's never coming. Press release for remake published! It's fake. Or is it?

Hi, my name is Squeenix.

Final Fantasy VII takes me waaaay back. That game was the only reason I bought a PS1. Picked them up on the same day from TRU many many years ago. I still have both tucked away in a box somewhere, for sentimental reasons. {shrug}

Little tip for those who have never played Final Fantasy VII. You're gonna want to spend as much time as possible leveling up Aeris. I know that she doesn't seem all that powerful, being a healer & all, but one of her attacks is particularly helpful in the later stages of the game.

You're welcome.

Just began to post what I voted for, then stopped myself and asked, "Who the hell cares? I already have/don't want them."

So I voted for FTL.

Lol, you're evil. :)

Well, that is one of the MANY branching paths in this non-linear JRPG...

Missed the Just Cause 2 glitch. I might still get it at $2.49 even though I only have a Mac, since I will probably be getting a Windows laptop in the next year and the console versions (I have both) don't have multiplayer.

Are the Community Choices every eight hours (i.e. the next one at 4am CDT, and the one after that at noon CDT)? And how often have they glitched? Although I know it's probably not the case, it seems that every 2nd or 3rd community choice game has had a price glitch.
