Avatar spoofing. What s silly reason to be banned. Someone must have missed a pamprin dosage that day
That IS silly. Whose avatar did he spoof? I must have missed that on mobile.
Avatar spoofing. What s silly reason to be banned. Someone must have missed a pamprin dosage that day
Is that seriously the reason that he got banned? Or more accurately, "Silenced".
Is that seriously the reason that he got banned? Or more accurately, "Silenced".
One of the reasons. I think it also involved custom user title and a couple posts were taken as harassment.
One of the reasons. I think it also involved custom user title and a couple posts were taken as harassment.
So is avatar spoofing OK without custom user title spoofing? Maybe that mean mod guy needs to come in here and set the ground rules on the combination that led to the foul...lol...
Check the timestamp. Something tells me he didn't necessarily beat you. ;)
As it turns out I just barely did, but my post was directly after my last post, so I merged the two.

Multiple posts are a pet peeve of mine. :)
One of the reasons. I think it also involved custom user title and a couple posts were taken as harassment.
Like I said, pamprin dosage missed

I'm not sure how any of my posts could be taken as harassment - and as far as I am aware not a single one of my posts on this board have ever been deleted by anyone but me, so if there is a harassing post out there, then it's still out there and I'd love to see it.

For reference I would gladly have removed my avatar picture at request.

That's about all I'll say on the subject since I'm sure there's some rule about talking about things.

I had to edit this post about 100 times. :)

Your non avatar and period custom title is probably spoofing a lurker

Watch out
Like I said, pamprin dosage missed
And repeating it didn't make it any less inappropriate or insulting.

Hmmmm might have been more than one missed dosage it seems

Any clean and lighthearted spoofs of my avatar will be seen as a tribute.

Every time I see said spoof I will think to myself, "this is the greatest and best avatar in the world...tribute."

There are too many childish people on these forums that abuse the "report post" feature due to pithy intrnt srs bsns. You can almost guarantee that your post will be deleted and you will be banned if it gets reported, says the guy who has been banned three or more times already. =\ If you happened to get banned for some ridiculous reason again (mine were because I did some uncouth things) then this isn't the only deals website out there.

If you've been banned three times you're clearly doing something stupid so drop the innocent act. The ratio of crap to on topic posts in most of these deal threads is about 50 to 1. Go find some other place where you can circle jerk and fist bump each other. May I suggest 4chan or reddit?
And the thread is cleaned.
Yep. I was like, "Why is the quote function all of a sudden not working?" The invisible presence of the mods here creeps me out.
So about that Ostrich game...
Well they deleted my post about the Ostrich game because I guess I shouldn't even mention why or it will all get deleted again.

Too Long; Didn't Get Deleted

I will probably buy the Ostrich game and hope it is good.

You literally made me LOL - people are going to come to the thread and be like "that most have been one offensive Ostrich post!"

If anyone still needs Steam Trading Card beta invites, I have nine available. They're from my TF2 idle accounts so I can't trade them to my main account, but I -can- gift them to people that don't have it by sending it to their email address.

So if you'd like one, send me a PM with your email address and I'll send 'em out later today.

The Incredible Adventure of Van Helsing is very good action/RPG/loot. The multiplayer has some kinks in it at the moment but the campaign is rock solid. Yes, it's much better then Diablo 3, and I enjoy it more then Torchlight II and Path of Exile. It's on sale currently for release week on Steam for $13.
Clearly you are out of the loop
Almost pooped myself when I saw your Avatar. We clearly have a new Steam Thread mascot.

Can we put a crudely scrawled sign on the door to this thread that says "no mods allowed"?

They are absolutely dreadful at post deletes.

AWESOME! :D

Though, I have the game (Complete Edition) already on GOG.

Looks like the Steam version is just the Base Game only, while the GOG Version is the Complete Version w/ the 2 expansions:

EDIT:
They really should get the 2 expansions and/or Complete Edition up on Steam - even if they decide to actually sell them.

I've actually been looking at that one too. Unlike last year, this year seems to actually have some decent Indies that I look forward to adding to the backlog.

I agree. Ostrich rules. It represents our feelings of being ostrichsized by the the greater CAG community and the overbearing mods.

I was wondering how they were going to placate not just GOG customers who bought it, but GOG themselves. That makes sense. Selling the rest of the content on Steam seems like a smart move.

That game was already discussed a couple of threads ago along with another classy title, Piss, when they were in an adventure game bundle. I only got about 10 minutes in, but what I saw wasn't too bad.

i second this. I have played plenty games of the genre such as all the diablos, path of exile, torchlight 1/2 & sacred1&2. Incredible Adventure of Van Helsing has great visuals, comical dialogue, interesting quests and boss fights, plenty of loot, and 4 player coop. I started out on normal, but now I'm playing it on Heroic. It is delightfully challenging. Though, for some reason you are allowed to use your shared stash across different difficulty save files. Its not exactly cheating though, since higher difficulties have a better item drop rate. I have yet to try the multiplayer, but single player is quite fun in itself.

According to a few posts here and there the expansion packs are freeware anyway. Seems a rather empty gesture in a way if that holds to be true.

I still want them (Devolver) to give us GOG buyers the Duke Nukem expansions they're selling on Steam, as DLC, at a discount (preferably) or free (pretty damn unlikely). :p
I still want them (Devolver) to give us GOG buyers the Duke Nukem expansions they're selling on Steam, as DLC, at a discount (preferably) or free (pretty damn unlikely). :p
That'd be sweet.

When companies put game on a platform, ALL platforms (Steam, Desura, GOG, Capsule, etc) should get the SAME EXACT CONTENT offered to them EVERYWHERE.
Example: If I see DLC and expansion on Steam-version, it better be there everywhere else (GOG, GMG Capsule, etc), too.

The thing about Duke Nukem on GOG is that it was published by Apogee Software, not Devolver Digital. So the chances of us getting a deal like that are pretty low.

Devolver DID publish Shadow Warrior Complete on GOG, though, so there's some hope...

Sucks about the shared stash. I just beat the storyline on normal (took 12 hours, I know - I'm slow) and was thinking about starting a new character. I'm hoping I find more unique "set" items this go round.

It really is as good as people are saying. The skill tree / level up system is epicly diverse.
