Brutal Legend and Super Meat Boy for me. Nice. Holy shit, 8 drops for Brutal.

Weird how I didn't pick up Anodyne when I had two opportunities. Hmm..

I'm running 3 games at a time, but only getting drops for one of them.

What is the card drop number for those who own Brutal Legend, Blocks that Matter, & Anodyne?

Serious Sam 3 - drops 4 cards

Super Meat Boy - drops 3 cards

I'm just curious because I haven't found a place yet that lists how many card drops you can earn per game. Not the total to collect, just the drops available to earn. It can help to estimate a potential return with card selling.

New Humble Bundle for Android 6:

Aquaria

Fractal

Organ Trail: Director's Cut

Stealth Bastard Deluxe

Pulse (Android only)

BTA (currently 4.63): Frozen Synapse and Broken Sword Director's Cut

All Steam keys, except Pulse.

Since BL has 8 drops, you'll most likely get it for free via Amazon at $6.79. The cards are averaging about $.70 to $2
Eh, I don't think the values of the cards can be judged right now, within an hour or two they'll probably drop below a dollar.. You've gotta sell each card for around 85 cents each to make your money back. You might end up paying a dollar or two for the game, which isn't bad.. but it's not a safe bet to get it for free.

Maybe that's why SBD dev wasn't doing anything for Amazon bundles. Rejoice Amazonians.

Love it! This is why I've pretty much stopped buying games outside of pay-what-you-want bundles (instead of pay-what-we-want bundles, like Amazon's). That, and Linooks support - bought!

Edit: Also, holy crap - Broken Sword on Linux (not that I don't already own this about 5 times and have finished it ages ago).

I'm actually excited for Organ Trail. And the fact that the BTA games are actually ones I already own so I don't have to worry about that.

Possibly. I'm glad I grabbed the CAG 2 bundle when I had the chance, and bought Symphony off of someone. Got all the indie games I wanted from Amazon, and got Stealth Bastard from HB ;)

Extremely good bundle at $1 price point.

Meat boy cards are going fairly cheap and you only need 5 for the badge, instead of selling I might just buy the two I need to complete the set. I thought I was done buying cards.

I doubt it. The market will crash soon, because people aren't buying them at those high prices.
Seem to be dropping pretty quick.

I'm running 3 games and I've gotten 1 drop in an hour. Something's not working right.
I think they've adjusted something recently as if I have more than one open the drops suck, only one open and they come in normally.

Me too. That and SB. This is a perfect bundle since I own both BTA games but none of the low tier games.

Humble Bundle does it again with a bundle full of games I want. Question: How cheap have FS and BS been? Worth BTA at $4-ish, or should I wait for a sale?

I strongly dislike Aquaria but I lovingly love Fractal and Frozen Synapse like a baby that has its own baby.

The Red DLC for FS is obviously gonna be included in a week.

You might be able to grab the full Broken Sword trilogy cheap in the trade thread, it was in an Indie Gala.. Dunno about Frozen Synapse, it's been humble bundled before but it was a long time ago. Not worth BTA IMO.

Actually, this is one of the worst BTA that HB has ever had. Indie Gala beat them with happy hour + the full Broken Sword trilogy.

Frozen Synapse was already on 90%off sale and also Humble bundled for 1$.

Broken Sword with two other games from the series were in Indie Gala 9 BTA for less than 2$ as HH gift.

I'm pretty happy with the new HIB, Stealth Bastard and Organ Trail for $1.  I already owned the BTA on steam (and Broken Sword on Android too), so it was a fairly easy choice... $3.25 or Frozen Synapse on Android... yep, I choose the money ;)

In my 200+ Steam library, Super Meat Boy is the first game with cards they added that I actually have, haha,

But when I try to launch it, I get a "Fatal Error". Anyone have any idea how to fix this? Any solution from googling doesn't seem to help

Others have mentioned that the Broken Sword games have been bundled. The trilogy will also likely be $3.xx in the summer sale. Check a steam price tracker for exact number. Broken Sword 1 on Android has been as low as 25 cents.

When I started it up I got a server connection error screen but I was able to hit enter to continue. Do you have this option or did the game just completely die?

Yeah I know how to do that. I'm referring to the games that one doesn't own and the drops one can earn from owning the game.

Like Super Meat Boy has 5 cards total, but how many cards can you earn? That would be 3 cards. Or, Brutal Legend has 15 cards total to complete the set, but you only earn 8 cards.

So I'm curious what Blocks that Matter & Anodyne can earned from drops because I don't own either game to find out. So, not the total in the set, but the amount one can earn, like 3, 4, etc... if that at all makes any sense.

It dies completely. The screen goes white and the "fatal error" pops up.

Does running multiple games at once mess with the card drop rate? Seems like I get them faster when I am doing one game at a time.

The $1 tier for the new Humble is fantastic. SB and Organ Trail. I already own Organ Trail on Android, - it's a great little game to play a couple of times. After that you probably will be over it.

Does running multiple games at once mess with the card drop rate? Seems like I get them faster when I am doing one game at a time.
No evidence to support either way. I will say though, that when cards first game out, I could run 3 games and the drops would happen almost concurrently like magic - when the last set came out I ran 2 games, and the drops were intermittent and seemed slower - but hey who knows.

Probably. I've started farming with Anodyne and Super Meat Boy, get 2 drops by now, 1 from each game, while my roommate, who started farming 10-15mins later than me, but only SMB, already got all 3 drops.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it does screw with the drop rate. For the last set of games, I got 1 drop in Trine 2 and no drops from any other games for hours. For the new set of games, I got 1 drop from Anodyne and it took about an 1 1/2 hours to get my next drop.. and now I'm getting no drops. I think after you get your first drop from running multiple games, it takes a lot longer to get more drops when running multiple games, even if you go back to running a single game afterward. There seems to be a cooldown period.

Or I could just be making this up.

Awesome, I was able to complete my Meatboy card set for 49 cents total.

Does anyone want a 33% off Rush Bros coupon?
Don't you hate useless coupons? I've got a few of them sitting in my inventory not worth much to me. I've been able to trade off some for cards.
At least coupons disappear after they are no longer valid. I have two AirMech 2 [NO LONGER VALID] gifts on my inventory that I can't get rid of.

Don't forget to look at the number of your drops and not just the card pictures because you can get multiples of the same card. I did not just play SMB way longer than needed because I only saw two cards in my badge section. No I did not. :joystick:
