Someone ninja'ed it already.

+1 like for the nice code-drop.
It was me, but it took some time to reply, since I wanted to give another code for someone else too :)

Awesomenauts: ZB27V-0CZBZ-R9XHV
Awesome! I got Awesomenauts! TY so much! :D

Anyone else blown away by how much has changed over the last year on steam? Last August Steam Greenlight was launched. Linux support left beta this February. The steam market came out after that. New profiles, trading cards, badges, coupons, etc. 3 years ago the Workshop wasn't even a thing.

I'm really impressed with Steam's progress, and it's only going to get better when the Steambox launches.
And on the other corner... Gamestop. The backup option on their client don't work since, maybe, 2010/2011?. And they don't bother. I think they are the worst. Even Origin have a backup solution (yes, the old "manually copy directory", but it works).

GetLoadedGo is live!

  • Dishonored
  • The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion GOTY Deluxe
  • Doom 3 BFG
  • Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Pack
  • The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind GOTY
  • Fallout 3: GOTY
  • Hunted: The Demons Forge
  • Brink
  • RAGE
All are Steam. 2 for $15.
So you're saying I need to find someone who wants something on that list that isn't Dishonored.

Only thing I don't have any might want would be Doom 3: BFG but I see Steam has it for $20 base so I'm probably better off waiting on a 75% sale and getting it for $5 rather than splitting a GLG pack for $7.50

I still don't own any of Deus Ex's on Steam. I played 1 & 2 years ago on PC (I know I still have the discs somewhere - likely my mother's attic), and played DE:HR on console (I used to be/sometimes still am - a heathen). Does Steam usually have a 'franchise pack' for it during the summer sale?

Regarding the Summer Sale and the OP:

Post the name of the game and the price for daily/flash deals. Don't bother linking every single game as people are just going to go to the Steam client anyway.

When new deals are posted, drop the old ones down to a Past Deals section. That's all that is needed.

Regarding Get Loaded

That's a great deal if you don't own a bunch of Bethesda games. I guess I'll just hope for a good deal on Dishonored during the Steam Sale.

So Dishonored + FO New Vegas UE for $15 = STEAL? Won't there be an Ultimate Edition for Dishonored?  :whistle2:k

They do indeed have a franchise pack. Looks like it would be $10 after a 75% discount. So if you're in no great hurry, it would be cheaper to wait for the Summer sale.

Anyone who isn't in your position though (wanting to pick all the games+DLC up) might wanna jump on this GMG deal.

Dishonored is awesome.

Thing is - I'm missing Dishonored DLC's.

From that list of GGG deals - I'm only missing Doom 3: BFG Ed.

Even though I own on Retail disc both the old Doom 3 + ROE.

is showdown effect actually any good? Looked interesting, but I hadn't heard of it.

EDIT: nevermind, didn't realize it wasn't even out yet, and was multiplayer only :dunce:

oh look, its a Magicka sale...

oh crap, showdown effect sale! time to spend steam wallet money
[sarcasm]

That's about as rare as Jade Empire going on sale on Steam. ;)

[/sarcasm]
You mean Kingdom of Amular, the grand champion of rare sales at a whopping TWO out of the year and half it been on Steam.
I would've said Vampire: Bloodlines, but Jade Empire been on sale LESS.

But, you're right - I think Steam-version of KOA might take the cake here. ;)

EDIT:

All cake, no lie.

Buying 4 packs and trying to profit?
He does this sort of thing all the time. On the one hand, it kinda bugs me. But on the other hand, things are worth what people are willing to pay for them. If people don't mind overpaying for the stuff that he's selling, that's their choice.

What really bothers me about him though is that he'll spam his deals over & over again on the group buy thread. I don't even bother going over there anymore because half the damn posts belong to him and one or two other people.

well i started up a 4 pack in the group buy thread for the showdown effect digital deluxe pack. its worth noting that the digital deluxe comes with a free copy of majicka.

The Group Buy thread has been the greatest casualty of CAG 3.0. It wasn't as bad when I could search the thread for what I wanted, but this new search system is terrible.

I wasn't trying to profit from the 4 pack fyi guys. There are times when I do, like when doing Indie Gala group buys because it's so damn tedious splitting up all the packs with 20-40 different people, or older bundles or whatever. Sorry don't hate me!

(Also to The End, I post my trade once a page on the trading forum.)

I'm not really wishing that was physical magicka disc... Magicka coasters anyone?
since its a giftable copy of magicka they give u, i figure u could use it to give to a secondary account to get the cards to sell. u can make back a buck that way

also it would be nice if showdown effect might eventually get cards too, since magicka got em.

I'd rather have a Macicka coaster.

man, i gotta say, this cag forum overhaul has been quite nice. i like being notified when som1 quote responds to a comment. and i also like how the pm system is a lot less restrictive and easier to read full convos.

i also like how it displays my actual trade-rating now. i gotta flaunt them big numbers yo

Yea I agree, after they let you change from that old horrible bright white theme, it's actually pretty nice now. There's a couple little things I don't like about the new system, but overall it's way better. Specially someone said yesterday new limit for private messages was like 50,000!

While there are some improvements, notably the messaging and notifications... CAG still remains rather broken and still missing key features from CAG 2.0, notably Wikis & Thread Search. Also the "jump to last unread post" is intermittently broken. Also the servers are experiencing more corruption/issues and downtime atm (right ahead of the summer sales)

New Vegas Ultimate for $7.50 is excellent if you don't have it.
I have around 113 hours w/ that game on one playthrough.

New Vegas + ALL DLC's at $7.50 = A STEAL.

Wow, I own *everything* on that list. The highest value adjunct to Dishonoured is FO:NV Ultimate. I am pleased to see that they had the decency of listing the Deluxe version of Oblivion GOTY. I can say Hunter" The Demon's Forge is decent if you'd rather not pickup a title you don't already own.

But here's the real outrage... WTF isn't Rourke Warrior on the list?!?
It's all about that Credits song, ain't it? ;)
>.> I haven't made it that far... I died a good bit (I make no claims on my FPS skills or lack thereof)... iirc Pride* was preventing me from dropping to easy.

*one of the Seven Deadlies... gotta collect them all!

Wait...does Rourke sing in the credits? Damn, maybe I should finally play that game. I love the tonal harmony that only moderate emphysema can invoke.

I'm totally lost. Does anybody have a Dungeonland group going? I'm totally in becauseeverybodyboughtitalreadyandIfeelleftout.

PM me please chaps!

Also, the Rourke Warrior credits are the best thing about the game, which is pretty tough going as the entire 3¾ hours of gameplay is a f***ing masterpiece.

EDIT: Something was here. Now it's gone becuase I'm an idiot. So I'm gonna start a new topic.

WHat's everyone's summer sale budget?

WHat's everyone's summer sale budget?
Told myself $50 should be enough, since the backlog is already up to my nipples.

Already spent $80 this month on stupid awesome Amazon/GOG/Indie bundles. Regarding my original budget, I must have put a decimal point in the wrong place or something.

well for all it's features it's gained recently, am I the only one annoyed there still isn't an option to specifically NOT recommend something? I think most people would find it more useful to know the games their friends didn't enjoy, so they can't save their time and money. Then again, maybe that is part of the reason they don't exist. Valve wants us to continue blind buying everything :whee:

Wait... How do we change form the white? My eyes are killing me!

Man oh man, Thank you! No more sunglasses for me!

Before CAG 3.0 debuted, I didn't know that my monitor doubled as a lightbox for viewing X-rays.

Now I'm salty because I checked the receipt from Rent-A-Center and discovered that I paid extra for this feature.

I don't know no fucking radiology!

I rarely spend over $50 or so each major sale.  This year there's even less I anticipate buying.  I've seen some people here load up $1,000 in GabeN bux via console trade-ins/steam wallet cards, etc.  I can't imagine what they're buying with that.

EDIT: Something was here. Now it's gone becuase I'm an idiot. So I'm gonna start a new topic.

Budgets? We ain't got no budgets. We don't need no budgets! I don't have to show you any stinkin' budgets!

The proper version [explicit language]:
Budgets, to god-damned hell with budgets! We have no budgets. In fact, we don't need budgets. I don't have to show you any stinking budgets, you god-damned cabrón and chinga tu madre!
