All the Stephanie talk and those pics of Joe got me thinking. Well, I've always thought this, but I think I'd buy Samoa Joe as a threat a lot more if it didn't look like he was getting ready to have a litter of pups. :)
Might be of note to Myke and other OVW fans, but WWE finally bought out Jim Cornette's 50% ownership in Ohio Valley Wrestling. This makes "Dangerous" Danny Davis the new majority owner in the company.
Interesting. I don't think it will change much. I don't hope so.

I turned off Raw and deleted it from my tivo the moment Stephanie started talking. It's one thing to disrespect the recently (really) dead by honoring them so flippantly, like they did with Sherri Martel. It's another entirely to create a tv segment that seems to come across as nothing but sheer mockery and parody of a real person's rela life loss. Listening to Stephanie's feigned choked-up voice and phony tears infuriated me in ways wrestling rarely does. What little of the segment I saw came off as a "Ha-ha, fuck you Jarrett, your wife is dead!!!" segment; one that was a parody of the somber and classy interview Jeff gave at Slammiversary.

It made the nWo parody of the Four Horsemen look like the least offensive thing in the history of least offensive things.

I like how Davairi jobbed clean to Hardy, and then Hardy took out Team Brokeback Mountain too. Does it make sense? Not really, they pretty much just buried Davairi once and for all, as Hardy dominated the entire match (which was odd), and then Jeff got the clean pin. Brokeback doesn't even run-in, despite Jeff doing the swanton off a corner near them. Instead gets nailed by Jeff who leaves before they can retaliate. WWE logic, not that I'm complaining this time though.
Sheik!!!
Sucks about his 'stace.
Obviously the highlight of Raw. I really hope that Vince has finally accepted Sheik's youtube popularity and the Sheik is brought back full-time. I wonder if the incident with Warrior was what got the job done! Either way, his rant was hilarious as ever.
didnt he roll under the ropes.. i thought it came out good
I thought Orton dropped to all four and "slithered" if you will, into the ring. He's been doing that shit before doing the RKO all the time now. I don't think it was a mistake.
Whoa, now that's a cool finisher.
I was impressed with that move. Probably the best Woman's finisher after the Widow's peak. Good to see Victoria on SD now where she can't wrestle for the title. WWE logic.
i never thought in a million years Snitsky would be promo'd like that...
No one did. Makes no sense at all. I wonder if they'll investigate Snitsky and he'll cut a promo saying the bomb was not his fault. I kind've doubt it though, WWE seems to want us to forget that ever happened and instead believe Snitsky is a legit threat to Cena's title. Sure you're not a homosexual Mr. Johnson.

The only way Raw could've ended well, would've been for Stephanie to "blow-up" in a limo too. I'd have to laugh if they just kept blowing up limos every week.

You know myke despite the fact that I laughed at Steph's bad acting you pretty much nailed down how I feel emotionally towards the whole angle. I don't know what more to add.

In better news.... here's some BIG news on the next TNA Impact.
they had to give cena another week to figure out what rhymes with Snitsky
He needs another WEEK? Damn.. I can come up with a few right now.

Snitsky rhymes with...

Fitsky
Nitsky
Dipsky
Shitsky
Rapesky
Fatsky

... okay you get the idea.

I would not watch Snitsky in a boat
I would not watch Snitsky wearing coats
I do not care for Snitsky's maw,
fuck this silly-ass Monday Night Raw.

HAW-HAW! I could write for WWE, because I make things up that are stupid!
HAW-HAW! I could write for WWE, because I make things up that are stupid!
Not that it really requires much these days. ;)

A federal investigator? I think I spent a total of 3 minutes watching Raw and, of course, it was 3 minutes too many. I didn't get to Mrs. Levesque's parody of human emotion, thankfully. What was the point of a new draft if the brands are going to continually be blended? The WWE is a rudderless ship at this point. I was considering dropping down to just watching Smackdown but with Booker and Benoit gone that option doesn't seem as attractive. This just makes me look forward to the ROH PPV next month even more.
neocisco what did you think of Slammiversary? :)
I only saw the last hour (so far) but I enjoyed it. Abyss/Tomko was better than I thought it would be. KOTM was pretty good. The whole concept is a little too complicated, IMO. I was expecting Joe to win until I heard about how he has some heat since he's been critical lately about some of the booking. I was actually supposed to go up for the show but plans didn't work out. I have the first 2 hours recorded and I'll watch it later this week.
Kennedy!!!!
...KENNEDY...

Got done watching Slammiversary and some of RAW. Thought the PPV was pretty good, not as good as it could have been... I'd say it was a 9/10 for not meeting it's full potential (few matches lacked substance). The main event was wild and fast paced... and while yes, the concept does become somewhat contrived, at least the match was exciting. Some of the mix-up matches worked fairly well though. Like Senshi and Rhino teaming up... that was great. I don't know why they're having Rhino team up with EY on impact this week. He should stay with Senshi and face LAX every chance they get. :)

RAW was ridiculous as usual, maybe even more so.

DUDE!

Check out Classic Superstars 15 for Razor Ramon, Outlaw Ron Bass, Tully Blanchard, Lex Luger, LJN-style Rock, Genius Lanny Poffo, and the blackest "Unpredictable" Johnny Rodz I've ever seen.
Chris Nowinski was on ESPN's first take this morning. They replay it again and his part will be on a little after 1 EST.
Yeah, he is part of some national concussion organization. They mentioned him during the NFL season a few times on ESPN also.

Just getting around to watching Raw and taking a look at the final draft..

Shame to see Mysterio still on SmackDown.. same with Undertaker.. why the fuck did they split up Cryme Time?! Johnny Nitro in ECW? That's cool.. Viscera in ECW, wtf? ECW needs more people. They just need to pick and botrrow from Raw. Sandman moving up to Raw is AWESOME, I just hope he doesn't get misused and I hope he keeps his act together.

Cena, Lashley, King Booker, Mr. Kennedy, Sandman, Shawn Michaels, Triple H.. geez, you think Raw is stacked enough? I really with King Booker wouldn't have come to Raw.

If you read back a page or two, you'll see RAW is purposefully stacked because USA wants the ratings to go up, and RAW is the flagship show.

Almost surprised they didn't move CM Punk to RAW too, or Benoit.

I think they moved Sandman to RAW to further place him out of his element, so they can "Wish him the best in his future endeavors" within the next month or so.

I'm surprised they didn't just axe him and Balls.

I'm stunned Balls is even in the WWE roster, to begin with.

If there was ever a wrestler outside of Vince's vision, it's him.

Well, they could always repackage him like they did with Roadkill. Roadkill's gimmick in OVW right now is basically a fatter version of Trevor Murdoch(sideburns and all).

Scorch, when did they split up Cryme Tyme?

Thinking back, there are a pair of reasons that it makes sense they moved Sandman to Raw now. Not too long ago, there was a woman who claimed that she was 'assaulted' by Sandman when he was making his ring entrance during an ECW taping, although afaik nothing ever ended up coming of that. Combine that with the fact that Smackdown is seen as the more "family friendly" show, and it's easy to see why they don't want Sandman on the SD/ECW tour anymore -- I'm sure parents were thrilled that their kids were being doused in beer from the Sandman, after all.
I'm stunned Balls is even in the WWE roster, to begin with.

Well, it seemed that, in the beginning, they were trying to recreate the old ECW, so I guess that's why he was there.

But what is stunning is that they kept him on the roster... and he's STILL on the roster.

Homeboy hasn't won a match since...well...ever? Dude is more of a jobber than Snitsky was.
Jwhy the fuck did they split up Cryme Time?!
They didn't?

----------

I don't get all of the backlash behind Raw. It was actually pretty good this week.

We had Kendrick/London put on a pretty good match with WGTT, same with Daivari/Hardy, the beginnings of a Carlito/Sandman Regal/Santino feuds, Orton going over again and Stephenie getting booed/laughed out of the ring.

A Carlito / Sandman feud...?

What the hell?

Does Sandman even wrestle anymore? I just assumed he caned people and threw them through tables. I don't think we've seen him legitmately wrestle once since he's been in WWE.

Balls beat Masato Tanaka at the 2006 One Night Stand. Since then... I dunno.

ecw should be interesting tonight..... lets see whos fighting for the belt on sunday.... i doubt we will see a face vs face match with punk/benoit but who knows

Punk vs Burke part 47? Wouldn't surprise me in the least, but I do give them credit in that all four guys tonight could easily be competing for the title on Sunday.

I assume he was next on Orton's list of people to "cripple" then WWE would give him his walking papers.

I got nothing else...

I like how they made a Tiny Lister action figure, yet Savage remains black-listed forever.

I wish they'd go ahead and kill this New Breed nonsense. Now that Dreamer is the only remaining member of the ECW Originals stable, there's no reason for it unless they tried to reform it with Benoit and Balls, but I don't see that happening (and don't want to).

Hmm, I hope Cor Von/Punk is a double-DQ or something of that nature so they can have a triple threat match for the ECW title. Then the man who does not get pinned (or tap) in that match can face the winner.

Both Punk and Cor Von deserve a shot at the ECW title at this point. I feel bad for Monty Brown, probably wishing he'd stayed in TNA, especially after he got left on ECW after the draft. Why wasn't he moved up to SD?

Anyone know what OVW tickets normally go for? I find it really amazing that WWE is trying to charge $35 for the FCW debut show. I was all for a new developmental territory, but sheesh. Of course the only reason this thing is going to sell tickets is because theyre gonna have John Cena (and Eugene, not that anyone cares).

Is there anyone on the WWE roster at this point as underused as Nitro? This guy is crazy in the ring.

Great ending  ... Punk goes from nearly knocked out (according to the announcers) and almost unable to stand to being able to hoist Cor Von up for the GTS? And Cor Von takes that after a shoulder to the turnbuckle? That made no sense at all, whoever scripted that end should be slapped, Danza Slapped. Couldn't have nailed Cor Von with a desparation attack and then fell over or something and got the double 10 count. Nope, no way, and after the match he's doing just fine.

Oh what the hell am I surprised for, it's ECW, NVM.

What the fuck does Monty Brown deserve? What has he done since joining the WWE? Any major matches? Any memorable moments or promos? Anything? Bueller? Bueller?

Monty Brown hasn't done a fucking thing, hasn't meant a fucking thing, and if he gets fired tomorrow, nobody will notice. Putting the ECW title on him would be futile: he's an unknown curtain-jerker to the crowd with a shitty theme song and no character. Like Elijah Burke, but less talkative. I didn't watch ECW tonight, but of Punk or Benoit (one of them surely won), they'll get the ECW title. Nobody else on that show is even *close* to deserving the IC/US title, let alone the ECW title. They should have moved MVP to ECW so they could have some top-level heels.

When OVW comes to town, they charge $5 a show. When they're at Six Flags theme park (every Friday/every other Friday?), the shows are free (provided you pay the overpriced theme park admission).

$35 for an indy show with such "stars" as Eugene and John Cena? That's it? fuck me sideways, you oughta give me $5 to watch Eugene.

From the TNA Impact tapings...

The main event for TNA's Victory Road PPV will be TNA World Champion Kurt Angle and TNA X-Division Champion Jay Lethal teaming up to face TNA Tag Team Champions Team 3D in a very interesting match. The winner of the fall in this tag match will win the respective title of the man he pins.

It's been rumored that Samoa Joe will defeat Jay Lethal for the X-Division title, leading to Joe replacing Lethal in the tag match.

This could be good, but it's sad to see them skip past feuds so fast. More crash booking from TNA.

WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TRUTH!!!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOO

Adding to the Impact spoiler from above...

Samoa Joe defeated Chris Sabin and Jay Lethal in a 3-Way Dance in the first hour of Impact (this week's episode) to win the TNA X-Division Championship. This makes it Angle & Joe against Team 3-D.
