A piece of a RAW taping spoiler:

- John Morrison defeated R-Truth by pinfall after hitting Starship Pain and is now in the WWE title match at Extreme Rules, replacing R-Truth. After the match, Truth attacked Morrison at ringside. R-Truth grabbed a cigarette from a fan and started smoking it.

Yay.
 
About that spoiler
Curious what changed in the past week...even on the house show tours Morrison and Sin Cara have alternated teaming with Cena against Miz and Riley, Truth has been doing dance contests with Melina. Either way, the 3rd guy is probably taking the pinfall at the PPV

In Orton's defense, he's not the one complaining. He told Angle to get over it. Which, judging by his douchy RKO, Angle did not do.

Edit: I heard there's a new John Morrison action figure that comes with a Melina figure that's interchangeable between Morrison and Batista.
 
Raw opening with a Truth promo after ending last week with Truth's theme is a welcome change of pace. At least to me.

Edit: I like all the old school Nexus shirts in the crowd.
 
He should have asked for a Lucky Strike.

In R-Truth's defense, when I smoked cigarettes I'd get blown up walking up the stairs. I never understood how an athlete could smoke and still perform.
 
I love when JR and Cole are on commentary together because he inevitably crushes Michael Cole with one sentence. ^^He's probably only here until Extreme Rules. Boo-urns.

Edit: The complexion of the contendership has changed.
 
So happy JR is on Raw. Is this going to be a normal thing? Haven't watched Raw since the week before WM. Hard to believe Truth is in the title scene..
 
Too bad the Truth/Morrison had to follow Tough Enough. Ryan's promo to save himself from elimination blew both of them out of the water.


Truth heel turn, I can deal with this.

I'm beginning to think he's genuinely depressed that he has to go heel now.

Maybe he'll continue to put his spot on the line, lose, then take the winner out. That'd be a cool gimmick.

Regardless, for once, I'm digging R-Truth. Heel truth is fantastic.
 
Sort of like the Punk/Orton feud, I have a fundamental problem with that segment.

Am I alone in thinking that, really, Morrison was just kind of a dick? It's been firmly established that Truth and Morrison are friends, and yet Morrison still decides to come out and goad his friend into giving up his dream. Total dick move.

What are they chanting? I know my hearing is bad but that very much sounded like "negro."

Before that, the captions said "who are you" but WWE captions are absolute crap.

Last week I was soo cheering for Morrison, I just didnt agree with giving him the title shot now. Even tough Morrison won I enjoyed R-Truth turning heel and kicking ass.
 
the 2nd chant during the cigarette was "Thats illegal" probably because he is smoking inside.

You guys see the Zack Ryder = Ratings sign in the front rows?

I swear I heard negro as well but I can't imagine they'd really go that far.

I love it, in 15 short minutes Truth gained more heel heat than most of the heels on the roster have built up over months or years all because he lit up a cigarette.

Overall, it was good stuff from Truth and I agree with 007; I couldn't help but think the "face" was actually a bit of a dick/heel for tricking someone into giving away their title shot for nothing in return.

Good thing Ziggler changed his look so he can look like the rest of the locker room.

LOfuckingL I love the London crowd. Just as it got silent before the match you could pretty clearly hear someone yell "NICKY!"
