The WWE Wrestlemania 25 Thread
Mickey Rourke just tried to box Jericho.. after making a movie about wrestling. At Wrestlemania. Epic fucking fail.

I was expecting, at the very least, an armdrag takedown. Or a headlock. An actual wrestling move.
See, that would have been ridiculous. All Mickey did was make a movie about wrestling, having him outwrestle someone like Jericho wouldn't make any sense. Rourke was a boxer for a number of years, him catching Jericho with a left hook is actually plausible.

Soooo... This isn't going as well as I had hoped.

All things considered, maybe the WWE needs a horrible, shitty Wrestlemania to compete with itself.

They need to stop showing Jeff Hardy's dead dog in those promos. One of my dogs looks exactly like that. Then again, perhaps drawing some sort of real emotion out of me is pretty impressive in 2009 WWE.

I'd like to see a good match. I loved the MitB match.. not the best, but it had some pretty cool spots. It'd be nice to add another match to the "good match" list.

Fixed.

I disagree; it works very, very well in terms of generating emotion. Much better than those hokey pictures of Jeff Hardy after his "hit and run."

Killing a dog = instant heat. You may not agree with it, and you may know better than to think Matt did it, but it's at least semi-believable, and generates genuine emotion.

[insert Bossman and Al Snow reference here]

If the table is supposed to hurt the person who goes through it, why put one over top of him that you're just going to break it with your own body?
Jeff Hardy's? Jack.

Al Snow's? Pepper.
Yeah, Snow's.
Wasn't it "Lita?"

Matt over Jeff with a SICK Twist of Fate through a chair. GREAT finish. That looked brutal.

I didn't expect Matt to win.

That was even higher than Benjamin's jump in the MitB.

:| @ Matt Hardy though.

All these high jumps remind me of when Shane McMahon climbed the support thing to the left of the Titantron and leaped on top of Big Show at I think Backlash a while back.

I was thinking:

What if Triple H turned on The McMahons, and reformed his alliance with Orton?

What the fuck is Rey Mysterio wearing!?!?! Someone screencap that shit!

SICK burn on Heath Ledger..

King: "A tribute to Heath Ledger's Joker? What do you think?"
JR: "I think Rey Mysterio's career is alive and well, King."
