anyone buying almost anything on the internet is more trusting than i am.
I guess I'm real damn trusting, though big-ticket items, it's a hard sell to me to buy on the Internet.
Most recent thing I bought that was more than a few bucks was my LCD TV, for $699 + shipping.
Yeah. Paid $1700 to the Feds and $72 to the State. =/
What this taught me: Trust not in your employer; when being hired ask if you're being contracted or employed by the company.
If you're being contracted, kill yourself. Contracting is the worst.
Oh, and to get back at the person you contracted, use their high quality printer to print posters of nekkied anthropomorphic kangroo guys.
I've been a contract employee for most of the last 10 years of my life, and I've never had tax issues. Then again, I wasn't a 1099-type contractor, I was W2, so that made all the difference in the world.
I wasn't planning on getting it on-line, but it makes sense. I get the certification and a 30-day no cost return period, and I get a better ring for a better value. If anything, I worry I may be paying too little. I know it doesn't really represent my love and commitment, but the sales pitch is really effective in making you feel kind of like it is.
When it's a diamond ring, there's no way in heck that I'm buying it without seeing it up-close and personal. No way in heck, no matter how much I'm saving.
make sure you have it appraised by a reputable, independant jeweler just to make sure you don't get pooched
QFMFT.
