To Kill a Last Movie You Ever Saw

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory(2005) I liked the way burton presented the film in his dark and grim way. Dont get me wrong i love the classic with Gene Wilder but This one had more of a dark edge like the book. And i thought Johnny Deep was absolutely amazing as Wonka, they couldnt have cast a better person.

The Muppet Movie - A great movie for Muppet fans and there's lots of cool celebrities from the era.

Rocky Horror Picture Show - Very weird, but musically cool movie.

I was about to watch The Devil's Rejects w/ commentary, but my DVD player isn't reading it for some reason. I don't feel like putting it in my DVD changer, so it's on to plan B. Of course, so far I don't have a plan B.

Crash

Amazingly great movie. It had a really great story and some insanely tense parts. I didn't know how to feel sometimes.

Just finished watching Repo Man......good soundtrack. Watched Anchorman - The Legend Of Ron Burgundy....... just as bad as the 1st time I saw it.

And I was under the impression that I was the only man on Earth who loathed that movie.

Trust me, you're not alone, just a jumbled mess of a film with a few funny moments and a ton of moments which just fall flat.

I just saw Batman Begins last night,
I think its one of the best comic book movies I've seen,
right up there next to spiderman 2

I stopped watching it half-way through. That movie was such a let down. The 'you smell like bigfoot's dick' was pretty funny, though.

The Devil's Backbone, fairly creepy and entertaining ghost story, though the first half of the film could have done with a little trimming to pick up the pace.

Mr. Deeds - Pretty good for an Adam Sandler film.
Kronk's New Groove - Not all that good without the prince and goodman's character starring and Kronk just isn't all that interesting.
Lord of War - Pretty good Nick Cage drama movie.
Sword in the Stone - My second favorite Disney animated movie of all time and I haven't seen this in a long time, so I loved it once again. I've never heard of a dvd version so I may burn this so I can watch it until that day arrives.

a little off topic here...

how do you guys find time to watch all these freakin movies? (esp Zman310)
jobs? social life? i wish i had the time to sit down and veg out

Garden State

First time and I must say pretty good movie. The performances by basically the whole cast was amazing. Yes one word say it with me Natalie. It takes a second to process though. I feel almost like I was on some sort of drug for a second.

My jobs are pretty small, and have very odd hours. School work is also fairly low, and I can take care of it easily enough. And social life? Ha! What do you think I am, not a loser? ;)

And I don't really "veg out". I watch films for the enrichment and enjoyment, for the art of film. (Yes, I am a nerd. And damn proud of it!)

Polar Express - decent, though it was painfully obvious they had to put filler in there to keep the movie from coming up short.

War of the Worlds - First half of the film is decent and amazing visual effects, ruined by story choices (buried under the ground? WTF were you smoking Spielberg? That whole concept contradicts the ending of the movie *heavy sigh*)

We watched Polar Express the other night. Not bad, I don't think it'll be a 'holiday classic' in our household like Year WIthout a Santa Claus, but it was all right. Although we're not at the point yet where we can create believable CG humans for a full movie.
Last night:
Martin and Orloff. I watched about 1/2 of this when it was on HDNet a while back, but my box died before I finished it. Surreal, stupid, bizarre situational humor from the members of the Upright Citizens Brigade. The ending sort of left me hanging, was a little disappointing, but the film did get chuckles throughout.

Masculin Feminin

Not bad, but a mixed bag. I mostly really liked the visual style of the film (with all the long takes and such) and it really worked to keep me into the film, but the substance was quite lacking, with the dialogue seeming to end up saying a whole lot of nothing (at least for this day and age.)

Puddle Cruiser

Great movie, and I really enjoyed it. Oddly enough, it's one of the few movies that has made me both happy and sad after I watched it...
