Oftentimes it doesn't say that the game is OOS right on the page, you have to click on the game and bring up its page to check if it's OOS.

Before you add an item to cart, click on the item description, it will tell you right there whether the game is in stock or not.
At the time of this post, most of the games were in stock. I was able to get just about everything I wanted. I imagine the stock on these games were very low to begin with, so they sold out quickly.
I figured that was the case but for some reason I doubted CAG even though everyone of the Circuit City games over the last 3 years has always rang up correctly.
One thing you can be sure of around here is that they tend to get the facts straight and (usually ahead of everyone else) when it comes to CC clearance. We all sorta share the fun of the experience together and all the info combined generally confirms that a price is either accurate or not.

The best were the $5~ CC clearance sales years back, but a good sale price is still a good sale price.

I did snag Fire Emblem and Chibi last night and I'll be on my way after work to grab some of the others from this list since I know they have them, and plenty of them.
Awesome. Let us know what you score.
Can someone please buck up and buy Primal for $5.96 new? That game rocks so much ass.
I nabbed one of those on Friday or Saturday night. It's one of those games I've literally heard nothing but good things about, no matter what the player's taste is.

Well, it's good to know if I get desperate I can always pick up 2 copies of Power Rangers: Dino Thunder at my CC on the cheap.
my games came in but check this out

why in god's green earth would you send a game in a large cardboard box in a bubble mailer....

still pretty happy with my score of megaman x8, brave fencer
Since the June clearance began at CC until this recent one, I have purchased 48 games for the Xbox and PS2. Of those 48, I would say that half were purchased online and rest in-store. One of the games purchased online was Rainbow Six/w-headset for XBox, which is in a larger box than a normal XBox game.. When it came, it was packed in a box with many of those air bag-like packing material surrounded the games. This particular game was already in beat up condition when I got it, but for $2.96 who could complain? But what bothered me more than that was, at least 5 of the games that I had ordered online during both sales(all of them XBox) had a long slit cut in the front cover of the DVD cases. Not deep enough to damage the plastic case, but just deep enough to slice into the cover art insert. Also, one was re-wrapped with a different shrink wrap, although there was no damage to the contents inside. I was wondering if anyone else had any of their games arrive like this? I was thinking that maybe a lot of the clearanced games that were sold online during this sale, were returns from B&M stores that had suffered some sort of minor damage. Anyone else have problems with damaged goods?

Well what I scored was listed above. Sadly only Budokai and Enter the Matrix but I'm happy either way since I got both for a total of 5 bucks.

Yeah the original CC sale will always be in my mind. I think I bought some 20 games for my GC and Xbox and only spent 100 bucks. I loved being in Orlando at the time since they had like 4 of them within miles of each other :).

I got my Psi-Ops today. Sucked that the xbox version was a few bucks more than the PS2 version, but whatever...I'll pay a few extra bucks for better graphics and less load time.

My two orders arrived today. One via Priority Mail and the other first class mail. They shipped each order of 5 games in a 12x12x6 box.
Any of the other CAG old timers remember when TRU had literally hundreds of these for like $1 each?
oh yeah...and they were good trade bait for the 3 for 10 deal at EB...i think Bad Boys 2 and Gunslinger took Primal's spot there now. atleast thats in my area.

Yup...out of the games I ordered, id say about 7 of them have cut shrinkwrap, although it never penetrated the plastic covering. Some of them even have the entire bottom portion of the shrinkwrap missing.

i had 2 orders from teh last clearnce, adn 2 from this one. the first order, evil dead regeneration came with the case completely smashed. the game was fine but the case looked like it had been stomped on or ran over. i called them up and they sent me antoher one. they even told me to keep the first one, so i bought a new case for it and put the new one on my tl. the recent clearance virtua fighter's shrink wrap was a little scuffed and ripped, but nothing bad.

EB Games had this new for $5 a couple of years ago. Why would anyone want to pay a buck more (plus shipping) a few years later?

Because this is available now? (And yes, I did get mine 3 years ago, but your attitude doesn't make sense.)

Because people who don't have Primal are also unlikely to have a time machine.
Any of the other CAG old timers remember when TRU had literally hundreds of these for like $1 each?
I remember that, because of some coupon glitch I was able to get it for free at TRU that month. Still sits unopened to this very day.

Maybe you don't have a time machine like that Max guy :applause:

EDIT: Crap Damian beat me to it :(

I went on the CC website @ 7AM this morning and it shows that CC is OOS of ALL video games....???? From PS2 to XB 360....it shows every game, at every price OOS....WTF is that all about..???? Are they trying to make things more difficult or what?

Huh???

Wasn't acting like that for me.

Must have been a temporary glitch at CC....is fixed now, back to normal....I just over reacted.

I have a Primal from the TRU sale I was going to trade in. Is it really that good?

Fat Wallet had a $14.99 deal on time machines just last week.

Figures, now the hoarders are going to back in time to just before a deal hits, buy them all then return and rebuy. We'll never get in on any good deals.

Sweet! I'm gonna go back in time and take state.

i got my games the other day and one of the cases had ben chipped and some of the plastic from it was rattling aroudn the box but other than that they were all unscratched. id read on here how someones game had popped off the spindle and was rattlign around the box so i made a point of checking each game after i opened it. they pack the games for shit but as long as they work when you get them im cool with the deals. i just wish tekken 5 would have been cheaper.

I paid 19.99 for primal at BB back around its original release. It really is an excellent adventure type game. Its kind of slow to get off the ground but once it does, its a ton of fun. Was worth 20 for me back in the day so for that price its a steal. The gargoyal thingie is cool as hell too. :D

Or do you mean you push it with crack cocaine...Guess I'll go buy myself a copy if it's still in stock. I was checking for Unlmited Saga and it isn't on the site anymore, does that mean it's gone forever!?

they have removed a handful of titles from the site now. I really wanted the star wars titles but there are not even on the website anymore.
Because A) This game was seriously overlooked, B) Not everyone has an EB nearby with an abundance of Primals, and C) I push this game like crack cocaine. It deserves a glance.
Sorry, but I wouldent rush out to buy it even if it were $1.

I've added an extra Lunar DS and Unlimited Saga to my tradelist. Especially looking for Musashi Samurai Legend from this clearance.

FYI for anyone interested. There seems to have been a restock of xbox and ps2 8.96 and 9.96 games, as there are quite a few listed as available "add to cart" and "have it shipped" games now.

Tak and the power of Juju (GBA) is back in stock. It's a completely average platformer, but if you're ordering something anyway... do it for the kids.

Sorry, but I wouldn't Primal for $0.25. That game might have been "overlooked" but you can say that about a HOST of games that are much better -- ones that also have a FAR better camera, too.

I don't care how bad the game is, if you wouldn't pay 25 cents you should just leave CAG, now.

Can't speak for you, but I won't buy something just b/c it's at some rock-bottom price. I have to WANT it, too :)

Primal to me isn't worth $0.25. Come on, even you have to agree that there are a slew of games on the current-gen consoles that aren't worth the paper/plastic they're wrapped in.

CC has Midtown Madness 3 (Xbox) showing as available until I try to check out and then says its not available. Looks like a fun game. I suppose Ebay would be my next stop for that game unless someone can tell me otherwise.

Primal is worth a try. Relatively mature setting and production values, entertaining adventure gameplay, superb voice acting and script.

I did trade it eventually as there is one major shortfall--replayability. Very much a one-time through experience, no replay incentives and once you know where to go it can be a slow slog getting there (searching/discovering things first time through disguises the slow pace).

I agree. I bought Primal used for $24.99 when EB was still JUST EB (long time ago) and it was worth every penny (IMHO). If I hadn't bought it then, I would definitely buy it now for $5.96; that's a great price.
It's not a bad game, though, and it's almost certainly worth more than that in trade. That's the point.
Primal is one of those games that's gotten a bad rep because it's always on clearance lists. Others like it include Mark of Kri, Rogue Ops, Dead to Rights, and Mace Griffon (Xbox version). I've played and enjoyed all of them, but when CAGs see a title at rock-bottom year in and year out, it just turns a dipswitch in our minds that says "crap."

Primal also has the unfortunate distinction of falling under the "chick who changes shape" classification, that to my knowledge hasn't spawned a worthy game -- though I'm sure people will say Kameo was decent, too.

Mark or Kri has a great rep and its considered a cult classic by many; the others are considred trash because, well, they're trash. Beyond Good & Evil also disproves your theory; it dropped within 2 months of release yet its got a nice following, though I personally dont like the game at all.

One game that got poor reviews was True Crime NYC, but I honestly thought it kicked major ass, one of the best action games ever. Sure, the first one (Streets of LA) sucked, but NYC is still definitely worth a try. Buy it.

My theory was not, "All cheap games have a bad rep." There are some, though, that are unwarranted in the thrashing they get. I especially liked Dead to Rights.

I gave a mediocre review to True Crime here -- I thought it was too buggy and over-ambitious for the technology. Our discussion proves game quality is subject to opinion. The only cheap game we can all agree is well worth it is Drake of the 99 Dragons. Right?!? ::crickets::

What about the near sacrilegious act of buying a new, full game, opening it, and then immediately using it as a frisbee? Is that worth $0.25 to you?

Perhaps it was just me, but True Crimes NYC was THE buggiest game i've ever played...and i've played quite a few beta's. Great concept...horrible (HORRIBLE) execution. I am interested in Mark of Kri...is it a good game?

Did you play it on an Xbox? If so, it depends on what drive you have. I played it on a Thompson and couldent even get it to work half the time, but when I switched drives it played almost flawlessly. Great game :D

BTW, Mark of Kri is supposed to be a good game... I got a copy two years ago but never played it... its in the back of my shelf on the 'games never touched' or 'games never going to be played again' section...
