So any update on BNB?

Also wouldn't more heat be earned by Swagger since he seems to have a problem with injuring people frequently in the middle of their push?

Still nothing besides confirming a shoulder injury after the x-ray on tuesday. So they're probably waiting until the countdown show before the PPV to announce anything.

As for Swagger, don't know. But Barrett was somewhat prone to injuries already(isn't this his 4th injury in 2 years?). Just not as bad as Christian is.

Way back when NXT was still FCW I made a comment that BNB was so good on commentary that I couldn't wait until his days in the ring were over so he could get behind the desk. It seems that I have cursed the man.

In fairness to Christian, he is 40 and he did all of that TLC stuff over the years with Edge. The dude has had a good run, but I worry every time they let that man back into the ring.

you know payback ppv sucked when kmart is selling the dvd for 8 bucks

So if I stick to my guns about boycotting WWE Network for Punk plus my extreme dislike of HHH, what are my options if I have no friends nearby? Buffalo Wild Wings?

Buffalo Wild Wings may have it. There's not a lot going on tonight besides whatever baseball game ESPN has on, so you may get lucky.

I have to ask, why are you boycotting for Punk? Kinda makes no sense to boycott something because the guy decided he was done and did not want to wrestle anymore. As far as dislike for Trips, honestly, if not for him and the things he is trying to do with bringing up new people, NXT, and other stuff, chances are there wouldnt be a WWE for you to boycott in another couple years. Just my 2 cents worth.

Call them and see if they'll show it. It will also depend on who they use for satellite/cable and if they're still airing them.

I thought only Hooters still shows WWE PPVs, there was a whole thing between BWW and WWE a few years back I believe about the cost of the PPV per location going up.

Punk left for his own reasons. That is true. But there has been a systematic clampdown on talent that haven't been chosen by corporate to succeed. The worst of this is what happened to Zack Ryder. He got over on his own. Then got fed to Kane.

It's not just boycotting because of Punk but taking into account all the reasons Punk left (ala his MITB speech). Some people just like to swallow the kool-aid and take the taking ball home argument to heart. As someone who likes to see excellence rewarded, not taken for granted, the entire Punk situation is one I empathize with. Guy put on the best matches of 2013 with every one they put him against and how did they reward him? By not putting him on in the main event.

We can go back and forth about whether he deserved the main event spot and the simple truth is he did. He damn well did. Just because HHH scoffs and Stephanie wants to write him out of existence doesn't mean he didn't put on the best matches of the year again Lesnar and Undertaker.

Maybe you can't relate to rewarding excellence because I doubt you've ever been excellent at anything in your life but Punk believes that if you put on the best matches in the business you deserve to be at the top of the business. I agree with that sentiment. If that's not the case then why try?

As noted in our recent NXT injury report, NXT star Corey Graves is currently on the sidelines after suffering his second concussion.

According to some backstage talk going around in WWE, Graves is pretty much done as an in-ring performer and WWE executives are working on figuring out another role in the company for him.
Not a big fan of the guy but this is a shitty way to go out. Maybe they can make him Baron Corbin's Johnny Polo?

Most BWWs don't show WWE anymore. There used to be a WWE "Blast Area" section on the website that listed all the bars that were showing it, but the link is dead now. Best bet may be Hooters or non-franchise sports bars around you.

Triple H is still getting paid if you're watching it at a bar or on the network. I'm not even sure if there are any places in St Louis that show WWE PPVs anymore to be honest.

CM Punk does not give a shit about you, what you think, or your feels. Get off his dick, and mine as well while you are at it.

Um. What dick? All I see is your salty vagina.

You called out MSU about Punk because of your hangup that you can't relate to the experience of someone who excels at their craft and is still taken for granted.

Punk put on better matches than anyone in 2013. He was booked to lose every match since. I understand why he left. I agree with those reasons. That is being on someone's dick?

You're the crazy one who thinks the WWE would be out of business if HHH wasn't around. Who is on who's dick now? Guess what Vince is still alive and running shit.

I have a horrible feeling that Sheamus is going to win tonight. That would not be good for business, that would not be good for anyone.

First, i wasnt calling MSU out, I asked HIM a question so i could better understand HIS reasoning. Why YOU felt the need to whiteknight for him is beyond anyones comprehension.

Second, I did not say that WWE would be out of business if Trips wasnt around. I said if not for him pushing to bring up newer stars and create newer stars via NXT, there wouldnt be a WWE in a FEW YEARS. Is your reading skill really that fucking poor? And it is not about me being on Trips' dick, it is more about Vince keeps pushing the same stale shit and Trips, though at times he does get misguided, does seem to really want to bring new things about.

Finally, I thought you said you were done with talking to me? I know I am pretty much the only person on here that will even acknowledge you and call you out on your absurd bullshit, but really, if you say you are not going to acknowledge me any more please keep to your word.

Honestly, I'm more interested in the contract match than I am the title match. The only outcome of that match that would satisfy me would be Bray winning, even if they'd hotshot the title to
Cena or Lesnar
to set up the rumored Summerslam main event.

I'm afraid Renee Young has some bad news... Bad News Barrett will not be competing in the Money in the Bank ladder match due to his injury earlier in the week.

I'm predicting John Cena wins the WWE Championship, Bray Wyatt wins the World Heavyweight Championship and Dolph Ziggler becomes Mr Money in the Bank.

As those of you who've been here for years know, I don't post in these threads nearly as much as I used to. So what's the current protocol for discussing PPV results live? Spoiler tags or just business as usual?

Not sure if there is one specifically, but I believe after the last few it's been spoilers or extremely thinly veiled posts on a match outcome.

Any post after a match that has John Cena in it that has "oh fuck you wwe", well we all know what that means but doesn't directly say who it was that won.

Maina had no spoilers. I'm sticking to that now. It's a live PPV. If you don't want out a spoiler stay out of the thread.

Paige and Naomi actually trying to put on a good match tonight.

EDIT: They did put on a good match. Best divas match since Natalya / Charlotte on NXT Takeover.

It was the best women's match in WWE since that one, yeah, but Paige/Naomi was not in the same league as Natalya/Charlotte at Takeover.

It'll be interesting to see what ridiculousness Ziggles sells this year.

Someone has a Title Master sign in the background, I approve.

So yeah Seth Rollins is really giving me the Snake Plisskin vibe. Damn shame they fired JTG finally, otherwise they could have repacked him to be Duke Earl. Then they could have turned the HitC match into an Escape from New York match.

I love how Big E now speaks like he's possessed by the soul of a southern Baptist reverend.

Glad I get to see my dude Fandango on PPV. Too bad he's about to be humiliated by 2 women.

Relieved that Fanny wasn't publicly embarrassed again, but I fail to see what the point was of even having the match on PPV.

Johnny Curtis is such a talented worker, and it's depressing how poorly WWE misuses him.

Really solid first...hour? After that first ladder match it got pretty dull though. Too many people in this second ladder match. You can't focus on anyone with 8 people in there and no one gets a reaction.

If they don't intentionally wreck it, Ambrose is going to be huge for years to come.

fuck You John Cena, you god damned piece of shit.

I'm certainly not renewing my WWE Network subscription if this is the direction they choose to go.
