What's in the PS Store (5/31/16): Neon Chrome, Oxenfree, Primal, There Came an Echo, Plague Inc, & More!

I think part of the controversy over Braid was the length it took to beat, but Jeopardy doesn't suffer from that with multiplayer and upcoming DLC.
If you're wondering, you can play the Aerosmith demo with the RB guitar.

Edit: Nevermind, you can navigate the menus just fine, but after trying to play a song, the orange button acted as a strummed red button and the green button acted as a strummed orange button, which is all that works with the RB guitar.
I wish I had read that earlier, so I could have avoided wasting my time with the download and install, since all I have is the RB Strat. This was a really stupid move on Activision's part, since you figure they could have convinced some of the RB players to buy a GH game once they all realized their controllers now worked for both games. Maybe we'll get lucky and they will release a patched demo version, but I'm not going to even bother getting my hopes up for that.

Jeopardy is a little lack luster without a host narrarating it. Everything is too quiet while you are playing the game and I do not like the multiple choice options either. It should be more like the PS1 version with a host and spelling out your answer, though I realize they may have made it multiple choice to help speed up the online play. Not worth $15 and they should have waited to release it when the game was complete and not use the bullshit excuse "We will be releasing a patch for it later" to add stuff.

PAIN - Tati Character - $0.99 is a must BUY! it makes playing PAIN SO MUCH MORE ENJOYABLE!! TATI CHARACTER IS TOO HOT FOR KANDAL TO HANDLE!

My thoughts exactly. This seemed like a game with a lot of potential, but the multiple choice aspect all but ruins it for me and a lot of people who may have considered buying it. I can only imagine playing it online against someone who rings in for every question then uses Google to find the answer! LOL!

You'd have to use some serious Google-Fu; you only get about five seconds!

The real problem the game has is repetition; in six games, I've had three repeated categories. Also, online, if two of the three people drop out, you can't complete the game (it's happened to me twice, when I had a big lead).

I think the online version should use a completely different question set than when you play solo. It would help prevent memorization of questions, and accusations of memorization of questions.

I'm sure at some point a new set of questions will be downloadable as an add-on ($2.99-$4.99) for the game. If they were looking to make more money off of the game they should have knocked $5 off the price and had 5-10 different themed categories (Sports, Entertainment, etc.) for download the day it came out.

The day it's $9.99 or less and includes the option to type in or use a bluetooth headset to speak the answer (versus having to choose multiple choice) is the day I buy it. It's such a huge oversight on their part that it's boggles my mind. We're talking the difference between 30k downloads and 10k downloads (just a guesstimate).

I don't think so, I'd imagine that they'd wait for the trophies and bike pack to come out so they can incorporate those updates/patches into the big download itself since they mentioned before that that was their plan for the PSN version.

I agree. We may lose it if they give us the whole package at once. I'm just hoping my Burnout info can be restored once I get my replacement system. I just recently had my launch PS3 (60 GB) go dead on me. I tried backing it all up, but couldn't power up my system. I even tried connecting my hard drive to another PS3 (was an 80 GB HD system) and it wouldn't recognize the HD! Because of it, I had to format the drive and lost everything! :(

Since I picked up one of the pre-paid PSN cards @ Blockbuster yesterday, I grabbed a copy of Mortal Kombat II from the store for $4.99. What's truly sad though, is that I remember some of the fatalities by heart, even this long since the game's official arcade release.

BTW, why the hell does it seem like Shang Tsung's third fatality(where he transforms into Kintaro) is missing? All you had to do in the arcades to get it to work was hold low punch for maybe 5 seconds before the end of the match and stand anywhere close to the opponent, then release.

the us store is still lacking in the addons department i see. On the JP store Minna no Golf 5 just got another customization set this time for the online lobby characters, and I also noticed that their Soul Calibur IV has received two more customization sets than we have.

Anyone know for certain if the version of Mortal Kombat II that's in the store(that I downloaded already) is the actual full arcade version or if it's one of the gimped versions from back in the day that showed up on the home consoles of the period?

It seems to be the arcade version, since it has the full Pit II fatality and all, but does it also have the Friendships and Babalities that were on the arcade version?

Pretty sure it's all in there and a port of the arcade.

Thanks. It seemed like it was, but I wasn't sure since it's been SO long since the game first came out(93-94). I just found a book at my local game shop for $1 that works for the SNES/Genesis versions of the game, so I'm using that as a guide for some fatalities and what not.
If we both pick it up, we're playing a Phoenix Suns vs Chicago Bulls game.
I dunno how I'm going to handle basketball games yet (like which one I'll get and for which consoles). But having a Bulls vs. Suns match would be great. :D
Live's had since the 5th, so I don't know why there's this huge delay for the PSN version.
Well, I could be wrong here, but when I played the European demo, it was heavily catered to the European Audience (a few things were different like mentioning the FIBA league and so on). What I'm thinking is EA put together the European demo first for submission, and then was planning on putting together the PS3 version second for the U.S. Who really knows, because we got NHL 09 earlier. I remember last year, it took PSN longer to get NBA 2k9.

For sure, there will HAVE to be an NBA demo this week. It will most likely be NBA Live 09, but could be NBA 09 or NBA 2k9. I want them since I love basketball. :p It would be funny getting them all on one day.

People were expecting WipeoutHD to be $40.

I'm still not buying unless there's a demo that convinces me Wipeout is good.
I've never cared for it, even disliked the original on PSX. Boggles my mind!

I'm sure it'll be $40 by the time you buy all of the patches for it .

I never like it either since the 1st time I played a demo on the PS1 .

I thought I would love it , I was hoping for ultra fast landspeeders but it felt very floaty and delayed like a boat .

I'm glad you guys like it though .

Perhaps he suspects add-on content? It's not like it would be an unprecedented maneuver for PSN titles (Pain, SSHD, Warhawk, god only knows which other ones).

In other "no shit, sherlock" news: Japan got 4 more PSX titles today.

Japan: 225+
USA: 22
