What's in the PS Store (5/31/16): Neon Chrome, Oxenfree, Primal, There Came an Echo, Plague Inc, & More!

Dunno. That's a reasonable fear in the modern gaming era, though - we're being confronted for the first time (in the console era, at any rate) with enormous ambiguity into (1) what a "complete" game is and (2) how much a game will eventually "cost."

Mega Man 9 is a $10 game or a $20 game, depending on how you look at it.

So I don't think it's unreasonable to think that Wipeout may have DLC bringing the total cost to $40. How much is "Pain" if you buy all the DLC?

Geon also comes to PSN tomorrow,
Instead of using pictures, we decided we'll use words for this one. Geon (formerly known as the game, Geon: Emotions) is making a surprise appearance on PSN very soon. In fact, it's coming tomorrow, according to a post on PS3Trophies.co.uk. "Short notice, but that's the miracle of digital distribution." Geon will be available on the US PSN tomorrow, and next week in Europe.

Unfortunately, we think the game will be buried under the massive hype that's been built up for the other downloadable games releasing tomorrow: Burnout Paradise, WipEout HD and Mega Man 9.

Wow, tomorrow is really huge.

Got my PSN card today for WipeOut HD.

I'll wait for impressions of Mega Man on PSN before making a decision on that one--I'm either going WiiWare or PS3 at this point.

Myke, how are the graphics upscaled? I know it's an 8-bit interpretation, but just curious how well it works with HD TVs compared to what's on WiiWare.

Well regarding the Wii version, it's restricted to 480i and 4:3. Even if you wanted to stretch the image, it won't let you. I have my television set to 16:9, and instead of stretching it, the game automatically puts the bars on the sides and keeps it 4:3.
the free to play MMO Angel Love is up in the japanese PSN store... registering to play is easy. playing it is hard.
I got it, leveled up a few times, and have no idea what's going on.
There are a ton of people playing though.

You have to create a username at their website first to play it, but it's really not worth it if you don't know Japanese.
I was just curious.

Was messing around last night and noticed it too. I was tempted to try it out, but my Japanese is turribull. I forgot most of my kanji. :p

They must have worked through the night to have all that content ready. Maybe they are finally getting the hang of it!?!?!?

Seriously this large of an update this early and without the PS Store going down? Great job Sony :applause:

So my friend wasn't lying about Bad Religion on rock band. They added the "Moving Pictures" album by Rush, and best of all, She Sells Sanctuary by the Cult!

And i'm still without the actual RB game :( I think i'll stop by work and borrow a used copy.

I think there is a demo of Wipeout HD coming, because from pictures I've seen you download it, and there's an immediate unlock code for it separate from the actual game. Very puzzling why the demo isn't there from the start.

Massive update and additions. Wow.

Almost makes me forget about how they've left us out to dry in terms of PSX titles.

MM9 demo is a nice surprise, too.

Yay Sony! It's great to have so many new things to check out for PS3 tonight: Definitely picking up Wipeout HD, and downloading the demos for NBA Live and MM9.

debating whether I should get MM9 on PS3 or Wii :/

I got points but am a little worried about picture quality and the remote i'd be using.

Is it just me or does anyone else wish they(Konami) would put a version of Zombies Ate My Neighbors up on the PSN store for sale/download?

I have it for the Genesis(complete, no less), but I played my Genesis last about three months ago. I'd definitely buy it for $5-10, as long as it was playable on or offline for multiple players.

I can't see a Genesis game going on the PSN. I'd love to see it on the 360, but even that is a stretch. Playing that game via online multiplayer would be fantastic though.

Mortal Kombat II and Gauntlet II seem to beg to differ, although those games are the arcade versions from what I've read.

I think they could do it and I would pay at least $5-10 for it. I definitely think the online would be an interesting thing to see.

Exactly, Zombies was never released in the arcades so you most likely won't see it on either the 360 or PS3, it will probably end up on the Wii eventually, which counts out any possibility of online multiplayer.

We could always hope for some sort of Zombies Ate My Neighbors remix like Bionic Commando. :)

Bought Wipeout HD..freaking amazing.

Anyways got 4 LBP beta codes(UK), willing to give up one for a PSN game trade.

Edit: Also Apparently there are KZ2 beta keys being sent to UK members, If you happen to get one and dont like KZ2, I will be willing to trade a LBP beta key.
