Will Joel finally leave his fiancee in GGT 132? No, he is a bad person.

It's the third strike that counts, yo.
I play, but don't own any copies of the games and I'm better than most people I know that play it daily. I know what you mean, though. Then they ask if you play Halo, and you say no, so they ask "WELL WTF DO YOU PLAY THEN?!"
I actually don't have that problem too much. I rarely talk to other gamers unless they're friends of mine, and all my friends like the same type of games so I can happily go a very long time without hearing anyone talk about shitty games like CoD or Halo.

Worst part about female drivers is that they refuse to admit that they're terrible. Like my wife can't judge distance for shit. Whenever she parks in the street she's like 2 feet away from the curb, and if there's a car on the side of the road and another coming down the street she panics no matter how much space she has. Also she grew up in a rural area so she drives like she's from the country and that shit doesn't fly here in the city. Takes her forever to turn onto a main road because she still doesn't understand people will not just let you go. Drives me nuts.

Anything beyond "shoot the bad guys in the face" goes completelyyy over their heads and they just don't enjoy 'em after 10-15 minutes. Wish I could change that somehow. They're pretty excited for Gears 3 though... so that's cool.

My mother and sister. Such terrible drivers.

I don't even want to talk about female drivers. Damn bitch cut me off and try to say it was my fault because I hit her.

Hey Cunt! Maybe if you didn't pop your fat ass head out and try to turn in front of me maybe I wouldn't have fuckin hit you!

In other words, that new planet of the apes film is tight.

435/1000 for Catherine so far. For people who are going for achievements/trophies, I suggest beating story mode on normal or higher and have your good/evil scale to either extreme. Then make sure on the 8th day you at least have all gold trophies for prior puzzle levels. It'll make things easier since you will get to skip the puzzle levels on your 2nd/3rd run.

Completed all of the Da Vinchi Disappearance again. It sucks that I lost my Save File that had it done, but I did manage to get a couple of things I hadn't before, so it's all good I guess. I stand at 63% or so, and I've decided to ditch it. I won't get Platinum on it because of the Online Trophies, which I despise. Especially 'get to the highest level' ones, which really tick me off. That, and getting 100% Sync in Brotherhood is going to be a chore.

I think I'll just go back and go through Dragon Quest VI, which I've been meaning to do for a long time. In addition, I'll continue to suck at Arcade Edition.

You're either a masochist or you have too much time on your hands. You never answered me RE: how long it took to platinum JC2.

Sometimes I wish my gf played more games, but then I realize I wouldn't enjoy gaming as much if she did. And we would fight over the TV/Consoles.

My girlfriend is a very good driver--most of my exes weren't though. Comes from her growing up in Taipei I guess, driving there is a fucking a nightmare with crazy traffic and all the scooters weaving in and out everywhere etc.

She's definitely a better driver than me, especially at things like parallel parking etc. since I grew up in a rural area and have only been doing city driving the past 7 years or so--really only the past 2 years I guess as I was in suburbs before that.

I suck at city driving, too! I've pretty much lived in the country all my life and I fucking suck at parallel parking. I also tend to park in one of the absolute farthest parking spaces away from every other car.

Same, except I don't park far away. I just park wherever.

Parallel parking is such a pain in the ass.

I'm ok at parallel parking, but my girlfriend is much better at it and can park in much tighter spots than I'm willing to try. Again, that's from Taipei, parking is a nightmare there (which is why so many people have scooters--that and gas is very expensive).

Otherwise I'm fine at city driving now. Just took a while to learn to be aggressive (while still being careful). As rei noted, people aren't going to let you out or let you into the lane you need to be in very often. So you have to be aggressive to get anywhere.

Oh god. Maybe it'll still get cancelled.

I think I'll finally try and beat Reach on Legendary. That won't be infuriating.

EDIT - My ex was pretty great at driving. Always drove manual transmissions, never had any accidents. She was also very good at Gran Turismo too. We had epic battles of my GT-R vs. her 3000GT.

The 100 percent sync doesn't count towards the Platinum at least since it's a Da Vinci's Disappearance trophy....still have to do the shitty online trophies though.

100%ing Brotherhood doesn't seem like a problem to me. I finished the game and am sitting at 94%. I think all I have to do is get the rest of the flags and 100% a few story missions. I did enjoy that game way too much though.

Got my 3DS today. I didn't have enough for a game to go with it, but I'll get one when I do the pricematch next weekend so I can get Ocarina of Time then. I do need some 3DS friends, so feel free to add my friend code (1375-7362-2650) and let me know your code so I can add you back. I'm not sure if it's like the Wii where you have no clue if somebody's registered your code or like Live/PSN where you get a notification about it, but I can probably make a guess.

The one thing I was surprised to see is that there's a wish list for the eShop, which is something that XBL and PSN needs for their stores so that you can keep track of what games you want, see current prices, and have quicker access to them. In Nintendo fashion, their wish list isn't sortable by any useful terms (price, alphabetically), but just by the order in which they were added. I was also surprised by the 300 page manual in the box, as I thought these kinds of manuals were long dead in favor of PDFs on the platform holder's site.

Just beat Red Steel 2. I was surprised with how good it actually was. I'm glad they basically decided to forgo everything about the original. The only similarity is that there is sword fighting and guns. The game is actually broken up into a series of open world sections, with quests to do and loot to be had. You can then upgrade all kinds of stuff like combos, damage, health, armor, gun attributes, and more. But really, the thing that impressed me most was the gameplay. The sword fighting is extremely responsive and just a blast to play. Makes me wish more motion control games would use the motion plus, because for once I was actually impressed with motion controls rather than struggling to get it to do what I want. Oh, and the game is pretty lengthy as well.

Surprised at how many country folk there are here. I'm great at driving, probably because I've lived in a city all my life. I can parallel park like the best of them.

I suck at parallel parking... and I wouldn't even try to attempt it at this point, considering I maybe drive 5 times total a year (only when I'm back visiting my parents, and we're probably going to get rid of that car fairly soon, so I'll probably just mostly get rides from my family when I'm back visiting, haha). Not that I can't currently drive, I was fine last year when I did, but I'm not usually too gung-ho to hop on the highway for my first drive after not driving for like 12 months, after a day of regular driving I'm fairly well acclimated to it again.

Oh, I know, but it's the last DLC Trophy I'd need, so I'm not really going to bother with it.

I decided to finally play Goldeneye Wii, which I picked up last week for $10. Unless someone can tell me some preferred settings, I'm going to switch to my CC Pro, because it's really jerky with the Wiimote.

Frisky, 3DS Friends Lists are the same as Wii Friends Lists, except they're universal now, but there's less functionality at the present time. My code's 3351-4164-6416 if you want to add me. Although it says your code's invalid, so :\

I enjoyed the fighting in Red Steel 2, but the game was so damn repetitive. There was barely anything to the game besides point a -> b, fight enemies, rinse, repeat.

That's true, but luckily the combat and upgrade system were enough to keep me entertained. There was enough variety in the combos and everything that the combat itself didn't get too repetitive to me.

Just started up Shadows of the Damned. I really like it, it feels like it's missing something and I can't put my finger on it, though.

I know what it's missing.

Played a bit of the two Minis that were offered for PS+ this week (OMG-Z and Dr. Maybee and the Adventures of Scarygirl) and they're pretty good. Scarygirl is a platformer game with more of a focus on story and the option of exploring to get all of the collectibles in each level. OMG-Z is a zombie puzzle game where you're a sniper that is trying to take out all of the zombies in a level with a limited number of shots, which includes a number of special zombies that have different ways of causing chain reactions for the best medals.

OOOOOOOOOOH!

Seriously, though. I'm to Act 3 and something doesn't feel right for some reason. Good game, something fundamental feels like it's missing, though.

I kind of know what you mean. The beginning made the game seem like the most epic thing ever, but idk, once the game really started it just didn't hook me. I'll still play it (eventually), but I'm kind of disappointed.

Exactly how I feel! It feels like it's missing Suda magic.

Finished all the loyalty missions and did the Shadow Broker and Arrival DLC today, tomorrow I have the Operation Overlord DLC and hopefully finishing Mass Effect 2.

I feel like I did everything in Arrival wrong though, everybody died, haha. I tried that battle in front of the Reaper artifact twice and it just wasn't happening without a lot of work, so I said screw it.

I thought about buying ME2 for the Triple from that EA sale, but shipping kills the deal.

In other news I started playing Silent Hill Origins since it was $10 and I'm impressed.

That's how I got it, haha, but it was a sale they had back in April. I want to say it was like 40% off or something and then I also had a birthday coupon they sent me for something like 20% off. Ended up being a bit under $30 shipped I think, which I figured wasn't too bad considering it had most of the DLC which I would have had to buy for my 360 version (which I hadn't finished) anyways since I didn't own any of it.

You could get it used at GameStop for like $23 used and if you don't have a Cerberus code for it you could contact EA and get one.

Not sure if you're talking about where you have to choose to warn the colony or not, but if you are, it doesn't matter what you do. They die.

Didn't know it was that cheap there. I might go grab it, but I have to decide if I'd actually play it if I bought it
