If u buy Unravel 2 on PS4, u can play co-op online thru shareplay BTW =)

I'm still indecisive about the Forza games gaahh, not sure what to get and if I'd end up being disappointed lol. I love Burnout and miss it terribly, wish they'll continue that series instead of NFS. And TDU series needs to be continued, Bigben Interactive needs to do something soon

Wario64 is seeing two sites list the X for $350. Frys starting today and Gamestop listing $350 but still showing $450.

$150 price drop in less then a year? I know the eBay deals were crazy... but this is even more crazy when you consider promos in the holiday if true.

Edit: $100 price cut. Looks like Frys stacking the $50 "bonus savings" as is Gamestop. Interesting.

A rough estimate of 187.23 is what I would have to pay to get a one X and trade my gears one S system in. IF the $350 price is correct.

Thank God for Taco Bell being gracious enough to give me mine :) I'd be a little upset if I'd paid full retail and they dropped the price already. I am glad that hopefully more people will be able to afford one now

 
Will definitely pick up an x if my local store does the $50 off $400. Didn't realize they were doing the $50 off until I looked at their website. Went to a physical location this afternoon and it had the neon piece of paper with $499 written on it like it usually does.

I got the hookup from taco bell too! I wonder if there is a price cut if they do something similar to the nintendo ambasador thing. $100 off plus a 50$ sale after just sevenish months is probably going to irrate some early adopters.

I bought mine from the Facebook marketplace with cod ww2 for $400 about a month after release from a guy that wanted to get back on ps4 so he could play with friends. I have like 370 ingested after selling cod. I’d be annoyed too paying $500 though.
 
I hope the xbox 1 x drops in price tomorrow. 

I already have two x1's.   But I need a second PS4 pro and that would force sony to lower the price.  The pro should be $300 by now.

I have one in my living room and one in my bedroom. When my nieces and nephews come over and we play online multiplayer I have to use the ps4 slim in my bedroom while they get to use the pro.

Other then that I want to be able to play the best version of a game no matter what room I'm in.

I have 2 Xbox one X and 2 PS4 Pro. I have two kids and sometimes they like to play. I also have a game room and keep a set of consoles there. Then have an Xbox one X in the living room and the other PS4 pro in my bedroom.

I basically made it so I can game in any room. Lol. Plus I'm lazy.

Hoping that's not an eff up and a legit price on the Gamestop ad, I'm leaning someone might of done goofed. Still might snag that ebay one for $399 but would love to just go pick another one up in store. 

 
Any predictions/wishes that aren't leak-based for the presentation today? I'm hoping Dauntless announced for console and something substantial from the Fable universe.

Anyone hear anything about what’s going to be in the mixpot? Tryna figure out if I should cancel some stuff to watch it
 
Love my X and that $349 is an incredible deal. I bet MS is losing money at that price. Jump in guys!

you can get the mixpot if you watch inside xbox on the 11th so don't need to see the press conference today

 
Normally I would be pretty irritated  with such a big price slash so soon but I paid for mine with trade credit that cost me far less than it was worth so it is no big thing.

MS sold the original Xbox at a loss and dropped their price every time the PS2 saw a price drop - including the first time, which was something like 7 months after release. They are doing great business in terms of profitability, and losing money on the console while selling subs to Game Pass / Gold and software licensing is standard for them.

I'm thinking this might mean the PS4 / Pro are seeing price drops and they are keeping up.

I think the given is 343 shows us Halo, if it's a reboot or Halo 6 I'm not sure... Gears 5 will be there, a teaser for Joanna Dark and Fable will be there. Borderlands 3 will be on the Xbox Stage, Forza Horizon 4 is a given. Cyberpunk 2077 will be teased on stage with maybe a live action trailer. Ori and the Blind Forest 2 for sure. Crackdown 3 will be on stage apologizing for the delay and Crackdown 2 is now BC and part of the mixpot (since 1 was already gwg). A new IP from a Japanese dev will be on stage... I'm not sure what though... I bet we see PUBG announcing something for that and talking about player counts. I think Banjo Kazooie will be in Smash Bros on the switch but with that Minecraft is getting a Nintendo Costume pack. I'm trying to think of something crazy... An indie studio is making an exclusive Halo side scroller with a very cartoony Master Chief and it's out today...

Oh and don't forget Sunset Overdrive 2 :)

So between MS Rewards money, a BB certificate that was expiring, and Ibotta rebate money, I managed to score 12 months of Game Pass and 7 months of Live for about $35 out of pocket. Not a bad weekend. Probably a good thing, too, because of the X drops to $350, I might end up snagging one of those, too. Excited for the conference today.

Honestly I hope they one-up EA and put Ori on the store today. That would pretty much make my year.

Exactly what I was thinking. Redbox and GS let me get upgrade my S to the X super cheap on release day. Can't believe people actually pay full price for consoles.

If I didn't have it already I'd be flipping some games to get an X at this price though. Great deal for a sweet console. Like it way more than my PS4 pro. Only time I use that any more is for VR or PS exclusives.

I’m wishing for a new splinter cell game and my crazy impossible prediction is they add achievements to OG xbox games.
 
I'm hoping they clarify a 'generationless' approach and confirm that any future console will support all X1 content, including BC stuff. That would pretty much make me a customer for life.

 
Just a headsup Gamestop fixed their image to show a $449 price now, I'm still thinking it was a mess up but we'll see this afternoon. I used to work at Fry's in Phoenix and messed up prices in their ads were a pretty regular occurrence and they were usually dicks about honoring stuff like that just putting up "sorry it was the wrong price" bulletins by the front of the store. That was over a decade ago so don't know what it's like now.

Phil Spencer definitely referenced the idea as a strategy moving forward, but they haven't been explicit about it since. With Game Pass, though, it would make a lot of sense why they are getting behind the service as much as they are.

Isn't that what the new head honcho said? Something about "yeah games will be there etc, but everyone is socializing and livestreaming these days" talk. It was very discouraging to read
 
Yeahhh there's nothing wrong with creating content for that market, clearly it has an audience and is profitable, but the success of all these single player games this gen (God of War, Zero Horizon Dawn, FC5, basically everything Bethesda has put out in the last 2.5 years) means it would be a mistake to only focus on that.

If that's where consoles go, I'll probably go back to PC gaming.

I have a confession, which is that I bought a PS4 Pro with trade-in stuff ($80 for my old 40gb ps3? Come one). Just for exclusives, mind. Spider-Man, Uncharteds, etc.

I also got this game, because I thought it was exclusive. This is a wild frigging game. Glad to see they are bringing weird JRPGs (that are also good) to Xbox.
