Bad Lands? Bad PROMOTION is more like it. Damn thing was stuck at 14 for like a week. No matter how I insisted, they never actually did anything to fix the problem. It sounded like some other CAG users were given assistance by Microsoft when they had issues with Bad Lands, but not me! I just got "be patient so we can wait out the clock and screw you."

Thought it may have broke loose for me but no...it was stuck at 14 but It went to 19...never moved again
 
It's refreshing to see Xbox have a better deal than PS4 and Steam for once. Dead Cells is $16.75 on Xbox but $20 on PS4 and Steam.

Yoku's Island is cheaper as well, but it's published by Team 17 so it's likely gonna come to Game Pass like most of Team 17's games.

Already own it myself, but kind of odd that both Sony and Nintendo have Celeste on sale for the Game Awards but it isn’t on Xbox.
 
I’m not sure about picking up anything from this sale since the Black Friday one. I’m really waiting for Assassin’s Creed Rogue remaster to go back on sale. I’m only tempted by Far acry 5.
 
Gears Dev stream is delayed due to technical difficulties.  They hope to have the stream up soon with the Canadian Omen Enforcer. 

 
Not sure if this is real. It looks a lot less appealing than that initial teaser if so. It just looks like bland Ubisoft design other than the sawblade crossbow. Hoodies and motocross gear don't exactly scream post-apocalypse to me. It does fall in line with something like Primal though, where they reuse the map but make major cosmetic changes.

Is Xcom The Bureau really as bad as reviews say? Especially at the $4 sale price? Thinking I want it just to be a completionist since I have all the other games.

I liked it. I bought it cheap which I'm sure factored into my expectations. I played on easy if I remember right and just played through for the story and achievements. I would recommend it at that price.

 
I wonder if retailers will give a shit about this. I'd imagine it would have leaked if all stores already got their shipments in like they normally would have for a physical release tomorrow.

Looks like the real release date of Far Cry New Dawn is February 15th 2019 (according to Amazon physical disc descriptions)

So I got the email for the Anthem alpha and I guess it needs the Insider Hub app. By downloading/installing the app will that put me in the insider program because that is something that I don't want.

Speaking of which, is the point of the Game Awards to remind me majority of these games have not gotten cheap enough for my backlog?

No. That is the app you can use to opt in if you were interested but it doesn't automatically enroll you.
