I saw "Mad Max" Fury Road and that seemed pretty cool, None of them have shiz on Captain EO or the Muppet Vision 3D at Disney. That's real 3D.

I watched Dr. Strange at home and still thought it was amazing on a normal size screen, haven't really disliked one of the Marvel movies yet

I would say I have enjoyed all of the movies to some extent but there are definitely some I cannot recall much about them really. The first two Thor movies are so forgettable.

 
FYI to those playing the alpha this weekend, it works with Game Share, so if one person was able to get in, just have that account sign in on the “home” console, download the Xbox Insider Hub, then download the alpha, and then switch to whichever account wants to play.

Back on topic, Thor 2 was forgettable, Guardians 2 was kinda terrible, and Dr Strange was amazing. Black Panther, Ragnarock, and Spidey are probably my faves so far. Very excited for Avengers 4 though.

I played almost an hour of single player, it started to feel very repetitive. Extremely easy, probably because I was still at the beginning. The narrator makes it feel like a 50's-60's adventure movie, which was unique but started to get a little annoying after a while. That being said, I'm still going to try co-op and push through to see if it gets better.

On a brighter note the Just Cause 4 Game Pass Quest awarded me the 500 points within an hour of gaining an achievement.

I believe the big discount on XBL credit thru Bing rewards is ending 12/15 so use your points up ASAP on those!

If the past month or two have taught us anything I think it's that we should only buy a game for full price at launch if we actively want to support the developers/game or maybe if it's guaranteed quality like Red Dead.

 
I think it might have been $10 at one point on Live, but I can't remember. $15 is ok, $20 is the regular price and Gamestop was selling it used for $9.99 a couple of weeks ago.

And with Doom Eternal coming out soon, there is always the chance it'll be free either as a bundle, GWG, etc.

It has an Extreme difficulty mode now, a lot of people were asking for a tougher difficulty because it was too easy.

Pretty average. Nothing grindy, nothing missable, you'll probably get many of them just playing normally, then a little clean-up at the end. It's a fun game though, so my wife and I enjoyed going for the last few achievements.
 
Started Battlefront II campaign and I'll be honest, I feel good shooting rebel soldiers in the face. Mostly because I still don't understand how they blew up two Death Star's and got rid of Palpatine and Vader and somehow still manage to friggin lose and be on the run yet again in Force Awakens and continue with stupid nonsensical plans in Last Jedi. By now I feel like I'm giving them all mercy killings than letting them go with their dumb plans that they'll somehow mess up on.

You got me curious so I downloaded the game to see if I still had any free cars in the Auto Show and yes, the 10th Anniversary Cars were free. I already had these in my garage and I'm prob getting another free set because I got one set from when the Car Pack was given away and another from when I bought the complete add-ons bundle.

The cars don't show up as $0. They show as FREE. Sorry, I have no idea as to the reason yours aren't showing up as FREE if you downloaded all the car packs.

 
I really wish I could get a hold of the Rally Expansion and 1000 Club for the first Forza Horizon. I hate being locked out of achievements :(  I'm currently trying to finish Comrades so I won't run into that issue with FFXV

 
I may bw invalidating all my opinions from here on but i must say i like all the Thor movies even 2. I know they get alot of hate but i really enjoy them.

PSA: The Rally Expansion is still available on Gamestop.com (digital delivery) & reportedly still working. The downside, of course, is that it's full price at $19.99 & my guess is they'll sell out of codes before it ever goes on sale. I wish I'd have picked this up when it went on sale right before FH1 went EOL (IIRC, it was $5 in the last sale before being de-listed). I'm considering picking it up here though since I'm not sure where else we could potentially get it once the codes run out at Gamestop. eBay would be a crapshoot. And unless anyone has contradictory information, I've seen zero indication Turn 10/MS is going to ever re-list Forza stuff that has been de-listed. Soooo...I may bite the bullet & get it here. The upside is I have some PUR points which I'd normally throw against something else...but I'll probably put 10-15k against this to bring the price down to $5-10.

Hope this helps you &/or others looking for it before it goes 100% extinct....

Yeah, the Rally Expansion for Forza seems to be obtainable but $20 is a bit steep.  However, the 1000 Club achievements are completely locked out for us that never downloaded it. Unless you can log onto a friend's Xbox that already has the dlc installed.

 
Ah, getting our first (and maybe last 😂) snow of the year here in South Carolina. As much as I like living down south, I still love some snow now and then!

Charlotte here and yeah, it is quite exciting when we get some snow, it just started coming down here. Sounds like the city will be shut down tomorrow, good time to catch up on some gaming!

I actually disagree with the other poster, there is some pretty challenging achievements in there, lighting up the beetle light things in all the pinball sections is quite a task (will make sense if you play it). It's interesting, when I beat the actual game I probably only had half the total achievements unlocked, so there is a good chunk of replay value with it.

 
Just got done watching The Titan on Netflix. What a shit movie. It was not even fun bad. It was boring bad with horrible logical leaps and gaps. Just avoid it.

It's like I am taking the weather with me - I'm currently in Greensboro for the past month (and for another month).

Looks rather nice and for someone like me, who came from LA, it is both exciting and intimidating.

ps: Just to complete the picture, my smoke alarm decides to start prompting me about "low battery" at 2.45 am - if you have had one of those happen to you, you will know how annoying it is.

Agreed. The last couple trophies are tough. It was a fun Platinum to get though.
 
I love how some parts of the country get an inch of snow and the city comes to a halt. And other cities get 8 feet... and its just another day.

My niece lives in nashville and a half inch shut everything down last year.

And try having a smoke alarms low battery go off in the middle of the night in your new house, and you have to break the alarm because the previous owner forced the alarm on the base upside down... wouldnt come off to replace the battery. So it got destroyed.

No thank you, what I'm having is annoying enough already. If not for my grit and determination, I'd not have slept a minute.

Having said that all my dreams had a constant beep followed by some woman telling me that the battery is low, right in the middle of the epic boss battle. :wall:
