How do you guys get that Raptr signature?
You have to have a raptr account with your xbox live account linked with it, then go to your settings and you'll see a signatures link. Go there then pick the one you like!

Thanks! I wish there was more options though :(
Thank you, I didn't know that #lol

I decided my order of priority to get the LEGO games since I obviously won't be able to afford all of them:

1. LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga
2. LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars
3. LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures
4. LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues
5. LEGO Batman
6. LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean
7. LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4
Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I believe LEGO Indiana Jones 2 is a rerelease of the first one with the 4th movie added in. Basically you can buy that and skip the original release.

a bit off topic, but is raptr just a game tracking service? I guess I only play 360, so what benefit do I get from signing up? I assume it will be able to import all of my achievements and games played.

No

Wrong. LEGO Indiana Jones 2 covers all four movies with all-new levels for the first three, so it's a new game beyond what the original had.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lego_Indiana_Jones_2:_The_Adventure_Continues

If you care more about the original movies, then the original is the better purchase since you get more levels for those movies with more of a bigger focus on them.
Lego Indiana Jones 2 is also really bad compared to the first one.
This is correct. I would bump Lego Indiana Jones 2 to the very bottom of the list. Unless you really like Indiana Jones 4, I'd say go with the original game and you'll be a lot happier.

Well it's tracking your achievements and games across all platforms is just one thing..and yes they do carry over and you can compare yourself with your friends and others...BUT raptr is also a community AND has a reward system, they gave out Minecraft, The Maw & R-Type and even Joe Danger 2 for Xbox until now. and many other things but mostly for PC-Gamers.

If that is benefit enough sign up, it's free ;) oh yeah there's also a desktop app which is quite more useful then just the site itself...I can't say anthing bad about it and they keep on improving.

Some NeoGAF person is saying these are the missing deals/days:

Games on Demand (18-31)
Rock Band 3 GonD
Bully 360 GonD

December 22nd
Tony Hawk

December 26th
Counter-Strike: GO

Seems a little light to me compared to the rest of the sale, but who knows. If this is legit, hopefully there's more to it than this.

i don't consider that to be light, tony hawk and counterstrike being added to the sale means that every major xbla release this year will be on sale for the holidays

blows away last years holiday sale

I think he was just refering to the ammount of games on demand compared to the arcade that will be on sale the whole time

. . .except for a little game called Minecraft. ;) (Which I wouldn't put on sale, either, if I were them--seems to be selling just fine as it is.)

I'm the last person to complain about Microsoft's sales, so it's not that, it's just odd to me that something like Counter Strike would get it's very own day, or that there's only two G.o.D. in the long sale compared to the 13 XBLA games. Or that Tony Hawk wouldn't be included with the Summer of Arcade sale day instead.

That it does, if the prices are good (and I think they will be).
Unless you really like Indiana Jones 4
And if that's the case, I would really recommend letting someone else make your decisions for you. FOREVER!
Bully's already on sale, so that list seems suspect.
Bully has been $15 since November 5, according to XBLDB. I think that was a permanent price drop.

Hum strange..I was sure Sonic Adventure 2 was part of the Countdown too but can't find it anymore on the first page lol...still not sure if I should wait to get another DC Collection disc lol
The OP says it's a sale.
This is what the OP says:

Might be price reductions, or might be sale prices
It's "on sale" the same way all the old Rock Band tracks are "on sale."

As much as I like having a wrestler named DOUBLE ANAL wrestling against my friends, I got to say that "Fire Pro Wrestling" is much too simple for me to want to purchase. So that's one off my list it seems.
This is what the OP says:

The Rock Band songs will go back to their normal price at some point since they are on sale.

If Bully and all of those games are permanent price drops, then they should be removed since those are the normal prices now. They're no longer on sale and thus do not belong in the OP.
Going to be mad if bully gets cheaper. I debated on it and caved 2 days ago..
I got serious sam 3 then the dlc a week later I got super ripped off

Agreed. They're all permanent price drops, not sales. I don't know why they were added to the OP to begin with. MS has been dropping the prices of Games on Demand across the board all year long.

Disagreed on Rock Band, though--Harmonix won't say it for obvious reasons, but for all intents and purposes, that is a permanent price drop.

Posted this in the 360 thread but thought I would drop it here since more people will see it.

Id and Bethesda releasing RAGE DLC "The Scorchers" this Tues 12/18 for $5 (400 MS Points)

http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/12/...-scorchers-dlc

Personally I am really excited to go back for what looks like a sizable amount of content for only $5.

Update:

"Bethesda has officially confirmed The Scorchers downloadable content for Rage. According to a blog post on Bethesda’s official site, The Scorchers will hit Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC next week for $4.99 (400 Microsoft Points).

Bethesda writes that “in this brand-new adventure spanning six all-new areas, you will fight alongside new allies to defend the Hager Settlment from a maniacal bandit clan known as The Scorchers. Along the way, you’ll participate in a new season of Mutant Bash TV, encounter new mini-games, and wield the overpowering and brutal Nailgun.”

In addition to new content, the pack also includes the new Ultra Nightmare difficulty and an Extended Play option that lets you play past the original ending of the game, “giving you the opportunity to finish collecting items and achievements.”"

This reminds me. For you achievement people out there, while the achievements are easy to get (with a bit of a grind), there is one achievement which is currently unobtainable. Supposedly one of the bonus matches never appears, and you need to do all three for an achievement. People have tried to get in touch with the developer to so far no avail.

More reason for me not to give a funk. Not the cheezmints mind you, but the fact they don't give a hoot to respond back to such a simple matter. The novelty of wrestling as my Avatar against other friends sounds pretty cool, but I can't imagine the game getting anywhere as fun as any of the actual Fire Pro, N64 or Smackdown games. That and there's no match variety from the looks of it. I Just want to smack my friend in the face with a steel chair or slam them unconscious through a table before again hitting them with a steel chair. In short, I want my hipster avatar just to randomly bludgeon Master Chief for my own dumb self indulgence.

I don't like that sales, specially I don't like the GoD one. But well, there already are a lot of things that I want to buy, so this way is better I guess.
Probably the wrong place, but does anyone know why LA Noire is ~7 GB on GoD yet it's 3 discs on retail ?
I can only guess that's only the first disc of the game. According to to this post there's more to download. And over here it sounds like they have you download the second disc after you've finished playing the first disc.

I'm not sure these will be the deals, I didn't see anyone post any actual "source" on these, unless I missed something...

IDK offhand but it could always be optimized. When you have multiple DVDs you have a lot of redundant data, like the character textures and animations, that need to be on all 3 DVDs. If you optimize it for one download, it only needs to be there once.

well if on the 18th those are the 2 GonD sales ill bet the tony hawk and counter strike are right too

Quick question was thinking about buying Saints Row 2 is there anyway to use Microsoft points or do I need to actually pay the ten dollars ?

The OP explains how to purchase GoD with microsoft points, or its the 2nd or 3rd post. Go look.

Hey Thanks It was in the Op under a spoiler tag must of missed it.
Oh now I noticed the error...the sales on 12/20 should be on 12/21 (which is missing in this list) the real sales for 12/20 were:

20th: Platformer Games
http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/Pr...20-platformers

 • Fez
 • HELL YEAH! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit
 • Sonic Adventure™ 2
 • Rayman® Origins [ GoD]
 • Rayman 3 HD
 • Mark of the Ninja
 • Trine 2
anybody want to correct this on the first page? I know I could do it myself but I don't want to mess up with the OP lol

Sonic Adventure 2 is only going to be on sale for one day instead of the whole 2 weeks?

I've only played Rayman on the GBA, so I might get Rayman Origins, but only if I'm convinced enough that I will ilke it.

Heres hoping It's on sale for $5 :)

I'm in your OP, makin' all the changes that folks are griping about.
Done with edits ... I've added the THQ Publisher sale, as well as the rumored titles to fill in the Countdown's TBD's, since they feel "about right" to me as well.

As for "Bully", I'm leaving it in for the rest of 2012 (at least until it's confirmed for the Countdown), since it's a very rare title, and I'm unsure if folks know it's still available via GoD. You'll see I moved the GoD section down past the "Misc. Sales" section (and renamed it "More Sales") so that the placement & importance is de-emphasized. I also removed several of the GoD markdowns, since they're either easily obtainable ... or yes, those are now the MSRP's on Amazon/GameStop. "UFC Personal Trainer" may very well be a permanent markdown, but GameStop still has it for $30, and the combo-pack @ GameStop is still a way-better deal than buying UFC 3 and UFC Personal Trainer separately ... and THQ is so wonky these days with their desperate cash-grab.

You should buy it ONLY if you can answer yes to these questions three:

1. Do you have a friend or two or three (not small children or wives who suck at video games) who you can play it couch co-op with?

2. Do you enjoy laughing at yourself for doing the same stupid mistakes over and over until you finally get through a level?

3. Do you mind not getting 100% everything in a game and just having fun doing the best you can? (even if it means not seeing the true ending/final levels?)

The level of difficulty is brutally hard but tolerable with multiplayer. If one player dies they float in a balloon bubble until another player saves (touches) him. If you're playing single-player, ever single cheap, stupid, frequent, rage-inducing death means starting the albeit short level over.

I had a blast (and a laugh) playing it co-op, but I know better than to touch the game on my own.

Nice work, but the deals on the 20th and 21st still need to be fixed.

Thursday 20th - Platformers (Fez, Mark of the Ninja, Sonic Adventure 2, etc.)

Friday 21st - Rockstar Games

I would do it myself, but like the other guy, don't want to fuck anything up.

Regarding the general awareness of Games on Demand, I don't know if anyone here knows about it, or will give a shit, but Wikipedia has a comprehensive table list of every GOD title, along with release date, price, and download size.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_360_Games_on_Demand

I've been the primary editor of this list for the last couple of years and do my best to keep it updated with new releases and price drops.
