Some sick deals if those pages are accurate. Good thing I stocked up on MSP on Black Friday.

Definite:

Jet Set Radio
Sonic Adventure 2
Trials DLC
Walking Dead 1-5 (if I don't get the disc version for Christmas)
Borderlands 2 season pass (if I get the game for Christmas)

Maybes (depending on price and / or demo)

Fez
Dust
Deadlight
Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit
Mark of the Ninja
Frogger: Hyper Arcade Edition

And then add Serious Sam 3 and the THQ sale (if WWE 13 season pass magically goes on sale), and it turns to be an expensive two weeks.

One I feel unsure on is Joe Danger 2. The first one didn't do much for me. Is this one any better or is it more of the same?
Sorry for going off-topic, but can you link me to that PSN blog mistake? I just got a PS3, so this interests me. Thanks.
http://blog.us.playstation.com/2012/11/27/playstation-store-update-267/

More than half that stuff on both regular and plus sales never showed up that week or the two weeks after. My guess is that it's X-mas stuff.

Back on topic, my hope is that a Forza sale does indeed show up and we get the GoD page corrected. Got a bad feeling that I'll need another HDD if the GoD stuff is as good as I hope it would be.
The Walking Dead page mentions Ep1 being free for a week starting on the 25th but the 1-day is the 28th...hmm.

I just bought Ep2&3 today before seeing the list. I suppose I could buy 4&5 now to ensure it will be 50% off for everyone else :)

I loved the Hell Yeah! demo, I'm definitely in for that if it's 1/2 off. I wonder why they decided to included Mark The Ninja but not Dust?
If episode 1 is free then the I would bet that the other 4 will only be 33% off since getting one free and the other four for 33% off would almost end up being the same price as all five at %50 off.

Here's hoping one of the question marks has a sale on Half Minute Hero, probably one of the only games I'm super interested in that isn't on the listings.

Definitely interested pending prices on Borderlands GoD, Borderlands 2 season pass, Fez, Hell Yeah, Dust, Deadlight. Was hoping for a re-tread of GTA 4 on the Rockstar day at the $10 pricepoint again, but doesn't look like it.

Overall, even at 33%, a much better showing than the Black Friday sales.

sorry for being a noob but where is TWD episode 1 listed as free on the 26th-- I have looked every where but all I find is fail!

thanks

Man if these are 50% off I think I'm going to buy more in this sale then I did total in all sales last year/this year up until this one.

For Sure: Frogger Hyper Edition (been waitin for this), Jet Set Radio, Hell Yeah!, Walking Dead

Thinking about it, most likely: Dungeon Fighter Live, Crazy Taxi, Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Ep. 2

Depends how the trial is: Deadlight, RAW

Totally agree with you on that. After checking out Zizi's awesome post, I noted several games of interest. Very interested in the SoA games going on sale, as well as Hell Yeah, the Fruit Ninja Kinect DLC, and anything else that's cheap. Much better than this year's Black Friday sales already.

Dungeon Fighter Live and RAW here if they're cheap. Crossing my fingers for something good on Games on Demand. Sad that Skullgirls didn't make the cut.
now im mad that I bought a bunch of Ubisoft stuff!!
Feel sorry for you. I hovered almost of Ubisoft sales (only bought Conviction) and passed over several high acclaimed Arcardes just to think that holiday sales would be massive.

These countdown together with Tropical 4 would merely burn out my pocket of 7000 MSP.

Thanks MWB, and great find Zizi. Now that is a hell of a sale (assuming all this stuff does get discounts) especially compared to the very underwhelming holiday sale last year.

I have the vast majority of the content from the trade thread here, but there's a good 2000 or so MSP to be spent (closer to 4000 depending on the Borderlands 2 Season Pass). Alas, the 2 games I'm actually waiting for a sale on (Pid and Scarygirl) are nowhere to be found.
Did this for another forum, thought I'd paste it here. Not trying to repeat anything or step on anyone's toes, just thought this might save others some clicks.
No problemo ... let the OP edits commence!
All done in the OP!

Again, big thanks to MWB for this introductory info dump! I know some folks here may get OCD & feel free to edit, rearrange, mangle ... but there's little sense in changing formatting unless you're going to add value, such as pricing, "xbldb" links, Metacritic links, or Giant Bomb's "first look" videos.
How's Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts? I remember loving the N64 version and having a crush on tootie.
Rare lost a lot of their talent when they broke off from Nintendo shortly after making those games. Nuts & Bolts is a passable game as both an adventure game and a Platinum Hits title, but it isn't anything like what you'd expect if you've played the first two. Personally, I played it after replaying Banjo-Tooie in college, and I thought it was pretty bland. It's no longer as quirky or comedic as the other two; the majority of your time is actually spent collecting parts scattered throughout the level to build things and progress to the next part. It just doesn't click very well for me as being a mature fetch quest adventure-platformer. Another thing is noticed was that the levels weren't designed as well as some of the 64 ones were. There wasn't much new, or exciting, or unique to them. It lacked the polish and cohesion that both BK and BT nailed.

They put on Banjo's big boy suspenders, and that took the fun out of a franchise known for its childish, zany goodness. If that sounds like your thing, go for it; it is a best-seller, after all. It's in a double pack with Viva Pinata.
CRAP! Out of that big list I may only pick up the 8-bit Fruit Ninja DLC. I have pretty much everything else. :(
Haha, yeah same here. Maybe will buy only Frogger, but it's not something that i really need. ;)

Really good list tho.

I guess we still don't know sale prices, but that is an awesome list. Like 3 or 4 games that I need. Too bad I missed out on the Target points deal!

Wow thank you for your in depth review. After reading the Viva Pinata reviews, this seems like a great game as well. Thanks for your suggestion, I really appreciate it.
Also, how did you play Banjo Tootie, was it on the N64 or is there a way you can download it now? I would like to relive my childhood.

Lol, Banjo Tootie. They should have named it that instead.

You can get it on XBLA for 1200 points, I believe.

LOL! It's actually Banjo Tooie, but Banjo Tootie sounds cuter. Sweet, I'll definitely check that out sometimes. If only...they can have that game on sale rather than nuts and bolts.

Definitely in for Mark of the Ninja, Dust, and the complete Walking Dead. RAW and Hell Yeah are maybes. Lego games are very large maybes - I'll bite for 400 points each, but that seems very unlikely.
TWD episode 1, free to play in those days or free to purchase for 0 points to keep?
Free to keep ... there's a great interview with Telltale Games' PR guy in the latest Game Informer podcast, and according to him, having episodes 1 and 2 free to PS+ members massively boosted sales.

Glad theyre keeping the mystery with those ? days :) gotta play the demo for a few of these, but these are what I'm getting.

The 18th
Frogged hyper arcade
Zumas revenge
World of Keflings DLC
Kinect party
Jet set radio
R.A.W.

The 20th
Fez
Hell yea
Mark of the ninja
Trine 2

The 23rd
Dead light
Dust an Elysian tale

The 24th
Trials big pack
Trials evolution and DLC

This sale is going to be awesome.

I'm definitely buying:
Frogger Hyper Arcade Edition
World of Keflings DLC
Jet Set Radio
Max Payne 3 DLC (assuming it's also on sale)
Dust
Deadlight (If it's 50% off)
Trials Evolution DLC
Borderlands 2 season pass
Skyrim Hearthfire and Dawnguard DLC

I'd consider RAW if it is heavily discounted, and I'll probably end up buying zuma's revenge also. Maybe even a lego game or two..:D

This is gonna be expensive... And I need to have some money for the Steam and GOG sales

I'm sitting on Promotional points, which, in the email stated 'Please use the promotional code and the instructions below to redeem your points by 30/12/2012. I've since redeemed it and on the Microsoft Billing website, it's showing that 0 points are expiring within the next 30 days, wth :???:??

Anyone had any experience with these?

Hmm, looking to get Dust, Mark of the Ninja, and the Skyrim DLC, depending on prices, of course. Not sure about Deadlight. I wasn't quite sold on the demo.

Good sale but what I really wanted 1/2 off was:

Deathsmiles II
Resident Evil Code Veronica HD
Mega Man 9
I Am Alive
Pinball Arcade to finally have the 3 packs of updated tables that the PSN already has.

Still time MS, do it to it!

I really hope Mass Effect 2 or 3 DLC appears. I would love to get From Ashes, Omega, and Leviathan for a cheaper price with my already cheap Microsoft Points. I remember last year or maybe it was the year before getting Shadow Broker for a a great price.

Was really hoping for deathsmiles II also...

thanks for the list MWB and Zizi!

Count me in for the Borderlands 2 season pass if it hits 1200, 1600 is possible but a little less likely. Was kinda hoping Omega and Dragonborn would be included but since they're so recent releases it makes sense to keep them out. Probably will pick up a few of the arcade games too!

Man, my BF Target cards will lose their virginity after the holiday countdown sale. I might not have a single one left standing after they're pillaged by this sale

In for all these items

Frogger Hyper Arcade Edition
Joe Danger 2 The Movie
Jet Set Radio
MW3 Collections 1-4
Mark of the Ninja
Fez
Deadlight
Trials Evolution
Fruit Ninja DLC
Borderlands 2 Season Pass
Crazy Taxi

Might bite on some Games on Demand titles if they hit the right price(looks at MW3)

I'll try the demo for Frogger Hyper Arcade Edition & Fez and might get those. Same for Dust, but it'd have to be about 600 or less for me to bite. Might get the Fruit Ninja DLC that adds additional achievements (shame the 8-Bit Cartridge one doesn't) if I ever motivate myself to use Kinect again.

Those are my current stances. I own most of the rest. What a great sale! That's without those 2 mystery days and Games on Demand missing.
I really hope Mass Effect 2 or 3 DLC appears. I would love to get From Ashes, Omega, and Leviathan for a cheaper price with my already cheap Microsoft Points. I remember last year or maybe it was the year before getting Shadow Broker for a a great price.
Leviathan was just on sale for Black Friday. Hopefully Microsoft will repeat it one day for those who missed out. I'm still waiting for Omega to go on sale and the final story based DLC to be released/go on sale before I do my second play though of Mass Effect 3.

Oh wow, 1st episode of TWD is free? Didn't see that earlier. Already got Ep. 1 & 2 free on PS+, but wouldn't mind replaying through the 1st episode for some easy achievements.
Is the holiday sale Gold only?
I'll second that question. I just let my Gold sub lapse for the first time in more than four years, and I'm wondering if I'm gonna have to do some math to see if I'll save more by tracking down a cheap 3-month card or something :)
Is the holiday sale Gold only?
They haven't been in years past so I doubt it. Probably will get confirmation once we get the prices.
Did this for another forum, thought I'd paste it here. Not trying to repeat anything or step on anyone's toes, just thought this might save others some clicks.
How official is this? I see no Forza of any type? I cannot remember the last MS sale that didn't have some sort of Forza involved.

This sale is going to be crazy!! No Skullgirls, but even so, damn.
Probably gonna get: Fez, Dust, Deadlight, all 5 episodes of The Walking Dead, and Borderlands GoD. Would like to also buy Mark of the Ninja, Trials Evo and some other games, but not enough MSP.
