I can help even though I already have my achievements. It should make things faster if you have a 4th that doesnt need it I guess.

Girl Power is when you win a match wearing a costume with female head, body, and shoes against three or more female costumed players.
 
is there a bomberman night? i need to play this with a group of people, none of my friends have it.
 
If anyone wants to exchange some achievements I still need a couple mostly just the Frag one, the 10 Consec Tourney one, and undefeated in 5 consec games
 
what i did to get a few of the online achievements was i just played a player match with a guest then did whatever i had to do to the guest and let the other people duke it out. In my experience they leave you alone and just go after each other. I just made a custom match then limited it to 4 players and got the cowboy and the 25 zombie kill achievement that way
 
I'm terrible at this game, but it's a good time. I suggested this for XBLA Tuesday, so maybe that'll be a good chance to get some CAGs together for some Bomberman.
 
Im thinking of getting this game since there are no other XBLA games that interest me right now. Just a question. Hows the online? Like is there a lot of people on or will it be tough to find a full room?
 
Excuse me for sounding dumb, but how do you really play this game? I never played Bomberman and in the demo I just ran around dropping bombs with the "A" button. Do you use any other buttons in the demo?

I know I sound naive, but I'm new to this game.

There's different actions depening on the power ups you obtain:

Bomb Punch – Punch any bomb in your path with the X button.

Bomb Kick – Kick any bomb by running into it. Stop it by pressing the RT button.

Power Glove – Plant a bomb, pick it up and throw it with the A button.

Line Bomb – Drop all bombs in a row at once with the X button.

Remote Bomb – Detonate bombs with a press of the B button.
 
I would also love to see a Bomberman night. It can be really difficult to find a good game on live.

I think so. I still play it. This is the kind of game where you invite people and they are likely to actually take you up on the invite. :)
 
ok so... I just bought this game cause I finally got my CC b1g1 points. Anyways I go and play single player and what new, I win 1 in every 10 games and I hate playing the computers cause they always know where to go. No human error, it drives me nuts. But I bought the game for online play. I go into the ranked lobbies and nobody is there, so I go to the player matches. There are tons of games! The problem is that everytime I went into a game one of 3 things would happen: a message came up and said connection time has ended, a message saying game has been started, or I would get into the lobby and every single time the game would kick me to the main menu and say the host has left. Now i did this for a solid half hour and I doubt that the 15 hosts from the lobbies I got into ALL left. I didn't get into a single game :cry:

So theres my rant, any advice is appreciated.

Also if I get it working I would love to play with some of you and maybe go for the achievements too!

I still need 200 on this game, any of you peeps going to be this game later tonight, like after 9 or so. I have my this weekend so no going out or drunk time so might as well just get nerd points.

I don't know if you can do it on playermatch but i do know that you can do it on private games.

Seems like a silly question when they don't say what the add on would include, so 100 it is.
 
Alright, who are these geniuses that voted for 400 and 500 points? They have more votes than 300 (though not as many as 100-200). When I voted (for 100 of course) the breakdown was as follows:
100 (38%), 200 (34%), 300 (4%), 400 (10%), 500 (12%!). WTF?

But like porieux says, it is kind of stupid to have a poll without saying what the add-on would be. I mean, most likely they are going to come out with new costumes, and maybe a new type of field or two. Whoopee... For that stuff, 100-200, no more (and I wouldn't buy it at all if it is just costumes). If they add new game modes, powerups, and some more achievement points then *maybe* I'd pay 400.

i'm only missing two achivements: The All Girl Match and the one where you gota win ten tournaments in a row. Gah. If anyone wants to get a big all girl match going, lemme know tee-hee.
 
This is nice.. but, kinda expensive ...
We are getting the first DLC for Bomberman this Wednesday. 350 points.. sigh. 10 new outfits, 2 stages + 1 new mode.

Hudson Increases the Payload with New Content and Game Modes

Kinda neat. But if there's supposed to be 3 DLC's..um.. 1050 JUST for additional costumes stages on top of the 800 for the game.. is kinda steep....
 
I'm not so sure I'm biting. I don't know, 800 points, and the game really seemed pretty bare bones to me. It really seems like the DLC would make it a more complete game, but for another 350. At the end of the day, it looks like it'll be a nice bomberman game, but it's going to cost $25-$30 to get it.

I think I may pass here.

My boys wanted to get it, so I was going to bite at 350 anyway. 250 is much better though (yeah, only 100 stupid points but for whatever reason it seems to make a huge difference :lol:).

Their phrasing in that press release implies that this was a spontaneous decision based on popular demand, or something. Very sneaky, Hudson! But I shall still buy! :D
 
Aw damn, I told myself I would buy the content pack if it was 250 points are less because that how many points I had leftover from from Small Arms DLC, and if it cost anymore, I would have an odd amount of MS points left(ie not a mutliple of 400). But now, I hardly play Bomberman, and don't know if I should still buy this...
