This deal would work out to be like Amazon's or Walmart's to be about $100 for an Xbox Arcade. However some Target stores are giving $50 GiftCards instead of $30. Apparently the Weekly Ad for Target listed the Xbox Arcade to include a wired headset, to compensate for the error Target has reduce the price an additional $20.

got one today. The one I went to had a bunch or arcades but I got the last spring bundle. Hooked my 120 HDD I saved from my 360 I traded to get the new one and proceeded to sleep while my gf struggled with viva pinata for a few hours.

Surprising how quiet the newer models are compared to my old halo edition 360.
 
Last night we called around to find a Target that still had one of these in stock. Found one 40 mins away and they held it for us. $130 + $50 gc.

I think at this point it would be really hard to find a Falcon in stores anymore. Most Arcades and Elites out there should be Jaspers.
 
I was late catching this thread when it went "live" and worried I'd miss out on the deal, and worked thru friday late night. Drove out to closest Target, sold out. Called ahead, had another 5 miles away, held me one, and I'm golden. Crossing my fingers my older model doesn't crap out; now have insurance when it does with my 2nd 360.

Thanks OP. I didn't need another 360 but I felt compelled to get a back up at this price. The way I look at it I'm only paying about $10 for the console since I'll use the $50 at Target anyway, the wireless controller is $40 and the games are worth $30 at the least.

When I need to hook up my hd to the Arcade is it as simple as plugging it in? Can I swap it back and forth as often as I want using the same profile? I'm not on Live so Gamertag swapping is of no concern to me.

As soon as I got it home I checked the voltage to make sure it was 12 and not 14. I couldn't see the voltage through the little hole in the box, just the serial number.

I don't plan on paying for Xbox Live Gold membership since I have a PS3. Can I still buy things at the marketplace with silver membership?
 
Went to BB, Grabbed the 360 Arcade for 99.99 after pm'd with Walmart ad instead of $50 GC they gave me $30GC and took $20 off the price.

also got Blur for 9.99 no question asked, they had to override but she went ahead and did it, might pick up another later this week.

Silly question, were you using a print ad because I don't see an online ad for walmart? Also, was this today that you did this?
 
i struggled to find one on friday after the closest 3 stores were sold out (I checked one, called 3) and a 4th one about 45 minutes away had one left so the guy there held it for me. just wanted to say thanks for posting the deal!

All of sudden, I'm like having flashbacks of this guy from Fatwallet, who was like, "I went to Toys R Us that was 3 hours away to get on this deal, but they didn't have any!" I lol-ed.

For this deal, I would have been hard-pressed to travel forty-five minutes out of my way to acquire a Spring bundle. At the same time, I've done comparable things before.
 
Does anyone know how long this deal lasts? Seems some of the pics suggest 6/19, but people have allegedly bought some today.

I love the ones who travel all over the place and waste lots of gas to save like 5-10 bucks.

Ignoring the gas side of it and extra wear on the car.

Probably people who don't have to pay for gas :/

Technically, I think it ended already. You might be able to find a few B&M Targets still honoring the giftcard deal but if you check out their Web site, the giftcard offer is gone.

So, this deal is YMMV now -- and most likely dead.

and sorry, if this were wal-mart, I'd never buy it, no matter how low. i hate wal-mart about as much as i dislike gamestop. neither of those retailers will ever get a dollar from me.

Yeah, I wonder what part of "it's gone" ppl here don't understand. Target deals are reflected on its Web site; if it's not there, it won't ring up anymore.

I don't if this has been previous mentioned, and it is certainly not as smoking as the target/walmart deals....but Best Buy is selling arcades at $150 with a $30 giftcard this week.
 
Just went to target this evening before they closed..... they were all out of stock, but the manager told me they should get more in tomorrow, and when I asked him what price they were, he said $130, and that they come with a gift card. I'll let u all kno tomorro if i get one. Thanks OP, this deal might not be dead just yet.

As much as I dislike their policies and whatnot, around here I don't have much of a choice.

There aren't many places to shop at in a town of 15,000 in North Dakota.
 
I would have been all over this but since I already have two PS3s, a 360, a wii, and I spend 99% of the time playing my PS3... I dunno.

yes printed ad from Walmart site, they took $20 off to 129.99 then gave me the $30 GC. I had a $50 GC in my wallet, so I walk out with one for only $50 basically and got the spring bundle with Banjo and Viva.
 
Picked up the last Spring Bundle Arcade 360 at my local Target by work. Got it for $115 + $50 gc because I had a mail coupon from Target for $15 off electronic purchases of $100 or more. Totally sweet deal...scored a spare 360 for $121 after tax, good thing I held off on buying Viva Pinata.
 
the pathetic thing is that in my area, it showed the Arcade was available in 9 out of 10 stores online yesterday, and not one store actually had it in stock. i went to one store, and they didn't have it, and then they checked the inventory of the other stores and not one store showed a single piece. i know online inventory trackers are sometimes wrong, but 9 out of 10, come on now...

It's pretty terrible. I would never trust the online item count, regardless of store.

Best Buy has it this week for $150 with $30 giftcard. Granted that is $40 more but considering how many of the people drive around all day they probably used $40 in gas alone.

I dont think the online store inventory check is constantly updating with each store sale -- it probably only updates it every night or something

What if they offer you an Xbox 360 Slim, Wii, or PS3 Slim for $1?

Does everybody you know drive Hummers? $40 in gas should get you a long way with a standard car. Somewhere around 300 to 400 miles depending on MPG. I doubt very many people traveled that far looking for the Target Arcade deal.
 
Also with the 360 deal, you would get a $10 rewardzone card (150 dollar purchase), so its technically a $40 gift card, so its not too bad a deal at BB.
 
Does anyone know if the Arcade system itself is still 130 in store without the gift card? I guess I could use the $50 gift card from the previous week to get an extra system for 80 plus tax.

Nope, both deals are dead now as they were because of the weekly ad last week.
