I noticed that before every game reveal they had an announcer saying 'exclusive', but some of the wording said "console exclusive". Pretty sneaky. But yeah I think once Sony drops their conference with their games, and if they announce a price drop on or before November 7th, that would be a real setback for Xbox One X

That's what I was thinking. The crowd went wild when Phil Spencer announced OG compatibility support, I'm like: "really?" My backlog is too crazy now to even begin playing old game again, let alone any titles on the OG Xbox. I can't even think of a single title worth revisiting.

They showed a lot of uninteresting titles (to me), but there were a few gems here and there. Ori, Cuphead, Ashen, The Last Night, The Artful Escape. I'm mixed on State of Decay, and I don't give a damn about Sea of Thieves, or Forza 7.

 
Not only was the console exclusive wording really goofy but most games were console launch exclusive. This just means that ps4/pro will get the games later by a month in most cases or a year like tomb raider.

it's not powerful enough to do vr well. I am guessing that we will get ps5s and xbox twos late 2018 or early 2019 and they will do vr justice

ehh, I thought they did ok. It coulda been better, but if Sony doesn't do a hardware refresh, which seems very unlikely this year, it means if you want to play the best version of a game you want to run it on a PC and/or xbox one X.  As someone with a high end PC its nice running forza horizon 3 or gears 4 on my PC or xbox depending on where I want to play.  So far I buy all my multiplats on PS4 because its better than the xbox version and I like to buy physical and trade in, I may switch from ps4 pro to xbox if the games run way better on that plus I really like my elite controller over DS4.

More games going cross play would be fantastic, mordor 2 is one of the first third party and I hope more do (digital only unfortunately).  Swapping seamlessly is fantastic, especially if you really wanna play portable having something like a surface is huge.  

i'm hoping we get a good upgrade path from gamestop, but no point in really pre ordering.  i'll buy one at launch week if I can trade in my xbox one S for $150-200 and pay the difference.  I am 99% sure there is not going to be any problem buying an xbox one X at launch week, at $500 this thing isn't selling out anywhere.

yeah and i am glad that the only namco bandai game i saw was dragonball which is just launch. Gundam versus and ace combat 7 will still drop day 1 on ps4 pro thankfully. I am loving tekken 7 now. Can't wait for gundam this fall

E3 is about getting you excited to own the platform, not showcasing games you will be playing this fall. And let's not pretend Microsoft doesn't do this as well.. at least Sony releases the stuff they show and doesn't cancel them.

Hate to burst your bubble.. but the only consoles that has been flippable in the past decade are the Wii and Switch and the launch window of the PS4.. no way is an overpriced refresh going to be a hot ticket item.

It uses vapor chamber cooling which is used on high end PC graphics cards so besides taking up less space, it should be quieter. I gotta give MS props here, it's a well designed console... I was afraid that the CPU might be a souped up Jaguar but luckily, it doesn't seem like it is.

 
I was updating my calendar with each new game reveal.  The bad thing is that most of the games shown are before the Xbox One X release date.  The only major game after Nov 7th is Star Wars Battlefront 2 on the 17th.  So if you really wanted to play those games FM7, Shadow of War, AC: Origins, Cuphead, etc on the XOX, then you gotta wait.  The rest of the other games are 2018, TBD.  

I'm guessing most people won't wait but will play it on PS4 Pro, especially if Sony drops it $50.

The second thing is that the two launch games Crackdown 3 and Super Lucky's Tale aren't even XOX exclusive, both will show up on PC.  I'm of the belief that exclusives add value to the console, but I guess MS figures you gonna be playing their game either way.  My point is perhaps a consumer like ourselves may not need this console ASAP, and it might be a good idea for it to drop in price a bit since there are options.

Sony doesn't cancel, they just never release them, or continue showing it at e3 for an entire generation.

For real. I am not agreeing with the $500 price point but theres no sense to troll.

Your getting a true 4k HDR experience for the price you pay. it's a hefty tag but the system is quite beefy for what it is.

Microsoft wanted to make money this time around the system hence the high price tag. You can enjoy the same games on the XBox One S with downgraded visuals.

The specs are great and all but did anyone really seem a game that looked so much more amazing on Xbox One X?  There is a time to buy this but not at release.

They can't make money if they don't sell. That is what everyone has an issue with. Super fans are going to buy the system but that small segment doesn't support a whole platform.

If Sony even teases The Last of Us 2 then they will destroy Microsoft this year. And I already know Nintendo will destroy them as well since Mario Odyssey is already looking better then anything Microsoft showed.
