It's only apply to their original price. Doesn't stack with deals and promo. Best to use it on PSN, Xbox or Eshop credit

So the GameStop I usually go to said they can only price match things that are not on sale. Riders republic is $29.99 on website but $36.99 in store. Said they couldn’t price match. Guardians is $29.99 on the site and $59.99 in store . Said they can do those types. I don’t think this is true . Can anyone confirm?

I bought the game in a b2g1 order a few days after release and now have it in my active offers. Pretty nice deal in the end.

Kind of bummed I didnt take more advantage of the B2G1 free on new games when the sale prices went live.  I guess I just figured they would let it go longer than they did.  All 9 new games I ordered actually came factory sealed, which was a nice surprise.

I ordered Judgment, Yakuza Like a Dragon, and Lost Judgment for PS5 during B2G1 and it is being delivered by CDL Last Mile again, the same one who delivered my order of Blue Reflection Second Light, The Caligula Effect 2, and Mary Skelter 2 to the wrong address next door.

I've learned to jump on deals in case of it being a mistake or if it finally drops to a price you wanted it too. I was waiting for R&C Rift Apart, Ghost of Directors cut and Spider-man MM Ultimate to get to $39.99. R&C was $34.99 used at Game Fly and I kept checking around other places and when I finally went to buy it, it was sold out. Then I saw it used at GS for $39.99 and then I saw that Ghost of Directors was 46 but both were B2G1 so I did that and then got Returnal as the free game. Ended up paying only $31.53 after taxes for each game. All 3 games came with original artwork/cover. If the games went lower, I could always try to get some $ back but I was very happy with those prices. Then I see that they all went up in price so again, I didn't waste time or waited to see if they would go lower. Have to just buy right away when you see the price you want. Same thing happened a couple of days later with Spider-man MM Ultimate. Saw it for $49.99 but that wasn't my sweet spot yet. Then saw that GS had it for $44.99 brand new and I decided that's close enough to the $40 I wanted to spend so I put it in my cart and used my $15 cert and then added 2 games to get free shipping and I ended up paying a total of $40.34. I highly doubt the game goes to $39.99 but even it if does, I am still happy with what I paid and got 2 extra games I wasn't even wanting.
