And now it actually shows cancelled on my order details. Real cool.
Got this email as well:
"Hello,
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. The item The Witcher III: Wild Hunt (205897) has been canceled due to it is currently out of stock.
A 10% discount on a future order was given as a courtesy hoping for further business with you.
Thank you for reaching out to us,
Anaely M. C104612

Guess i'm going to have to end up calling. It's been 2 weeks since my order was cancelled and no signs of a gift card refund.

And here come the real cancellation emails, at least the games I paid for were the ones that were cancelled.
I'm ecstatic that my $45 free game from B2G2 was cancelled and I was offered a 10% for a future purchase. Great way to hold onto costumers.

I've heard pretty decent recommendations for the JFJ Easy Pro. It's relatively cheap if and has good results compared to a machine that costs thousands.
I’ve got one and definitely recommend it.

Their customer service is trash. The least they could do is honor the sale price if you find the game preowned in-store near you

I had four orders placed by 1AM of the sale. On my last order, they charged the paid two games, and cancelled the two free. Meanwhile, the games are in stock on the website for several weeks. Cannot cancel the order, return the games, or change any of the terms of sale now that they intentionally waited so long. No compensation for this, and it's outright deception.
If GameStop is trying to make enemies out of customers, they are doing a wonderful job. Next time they overlap promos, I will remember this.

I also got a cancellation email and no 10% discount code ):
Email them and complain. My code was a random reply to an earlier email conversation about my order not really being cancelled.

I’m no expert in law, but this really seems like it should be illegal or at least fall into the category of false advertising. I wonder if enough people actually complain if they’ll do something.I had four orders placed by 1AM of the sale. On my last order, they charged the paid two games, and cancelled the two free. It's considered fraud if the transaction were between two private parties. Land of the free, home of the corporation.

Got another cancellation email too. Portion of my order now shows "cancelled", and the other "awaiting product availability". Paid with a giftcard, which I imagine will be a pain to get adjusted (eventhough there's absolutely no reason it should be). This whole thing is such a mess. I'll still shop at their stores, but unless there's some major changes, I'm done with their online store. Shopping online, especially with a major retailer, shouldn't be this much of a problem.

That’s what I am thinking. I almost want to start one of those online petitions, but it seems that a lot of people have the attitude of “oh well I lucked out before so I’ll just let this slide”. That shouldn’t be the case, gamestop shouldn’t be allowed any slack. They are a business. Just because some might have been able to get 11 good orders doesn’t mean they should let that 12th order with the incorrect charge slide.Smells like a class action lawsuit waiting to happen.
I am so tired of the BS that gamestop is pulling.

Two of my switch games were cancelled, but the total for the other two now shows $2.80. My card still has the same amount on it, but maybe ill get it back some how.

Anyone have tips for getting an online PowerUp Rewards certificate to activate? I issued myself a $50 online certificate with points last night and was given an activiation code. GameStop email said to go to www.gamestop.com/code but every time I try that site I get a message saying 404 error we cannot find the page you were looking for.
I also got a cancellation email for a game, its going to be fun trying to get that credit back.

For anyone looking for a machine to fix discs, its way cheaper to get a buffer from harbor freight when they have a good coupon than getting one of the stand alone machines. I bought this one years ago and it works great.

I use the white buffing compound sticks they have. There's videos on youtube that will show you how to use it too.

another round of cancellation emails for the same games...actually appear to be cancelled this time...
My two free switch games were canceled
I also got a cancellation email and no 10% discount code ):
So the "error" in the automation wasn't the message being sent, it was the orders not actually being canceled, lmao.
Weasels, the lot of them.

Never though I'd see a Harbor Freight link in a game thread, especially a Gamestop thread, but here we are lol. The buffer's actually a clever idea too
