I condensed the thread from the last one or two CE threads. Decided not to have separate picture posts for Book/Steelbooks/Consoles & Misc. items. I'll be putting those in the Everything List & if I can, I'll just put them with the CE picture posts. It got way too cluttered imo. This one is way more streamlined without the excess posts. Let me know if there are any broken links or any missing CEs. I'll be locking the other one.

Has anyone been able to preorder Last of Us II Ellie Edition anywhere after it initially sold out? It's popped up on Bestbuy a few times but I have never been able to check out.

Same here.

I allow myself 3 purchases from lamestop a year and this was one because they had that cool sword and stand as a pre order bonus.

As for my favorite CE of 2019 -

I've cut back on CEs I've bought a lot recently, but the standouts that I grabbed in 2019 were Sekiro,  Link's Awakening (uk version), and Trails of Cold Steel 3.

Sekiro CE was nice, but the game wasn't for me. For that reason, I'll have to say the Metro Exodus CE was a favorite for the year.

Much like Division 2 & Breakpoint, there is a GS exclusive physical UE for Watch Dogs Legion. It should have a different Steelbook than the Gold Edition.

Favorite CE of 2019 is a no brainer for me: Fire Emblem 3 Houses.

Thanks for all the work you do Vogyn, and everyone else. I used to check this thread all the time even before registering.

My favorite CE of the year was The House in Fata Morgana release from Limited Run Games. Already imported the hardcover artbook during Comiket a few years ago but it's nice to finally have a physical copy of the 6-disc soundtrack and the game itself. 

Runner up would be Fire Emblem: Three Houses Fodlan Collection. I owned the NA CE for a short while but I prefer the JP steelbook and soundtrack packaging, as well as the look of the outer box itself. No hardcover artbook is a bummer but maybe I can pick one up later on. 

Can't wait to add the La-Mulana 1 & 2 Hidden Treasures Edition and the Rune Factory 4 Special Archival Edition in a few months. 

 
This past year I think the only CE I bought was Sekiro. I think that was more of a power move due to the scarcity and the low cost. Otherwise I don't really care about it lol.

For 40 bucks I'm not going to worry about it myself. Even if it hits 20 that's not a major difference to me really.

Pfft... good luck trying to get one at Best Buy. Been trying for both the CE and the Ellie Edition and it's always the same- page shows it in stock, but then sells out as soon as I add to cart.

The one time I got close, I got a fucking Verified by Visa thing at check-out and of course, it sold out by the time I tried going back to change to another card. Pissed me off like crazy, because it's a card I used before on larger purchases there and never got that.
